- I had so many requests to create the look I wore in May's Where Are They Now video, so that's what I did! I think this is a perfect look to add some glow to the face and fake a youthful look, which is another great look for the G.A.W. (you know who you are)! I Love Dermablend! It is great to cover under eye circles and as a bonus it works awesome to cover ugly leg bruises. Especially now that we are in short season. I am the worst at bumping into furniture and getting ugly bruises on my thighs.
The Rodial Contour is also a stunner. I even like it a tiny little bit better then the Aucoin

Hi Marnie. I'm always here. Watch every video. At the moment every video I say to myself 'how is she doing re Jake/college - what's the update, planning purchases, mentally' Please keep us informed. Whilst I'm in the UK and my twins do not go off to university for 2 years yet, this is a topic which so many of us relate to. Sending your kid off to college is massive. I'm hoping by watching you do it first I can prepare myself and be ready. I know as a mum some of this journey will be hard for you. Just know we are all here to support you and help you through it. I think you and Michael are great parents. Nothing would please me more than to witness Jake's successful transition to college. I would just like to share the family journey that will no doubt dominate your summer.

What was the Sephora brush you used after the 55 powder brush? Looks great. I know Sephora repackaged their brushes, but I am in love with their professional line so am eager to add new brushes to my routine.
+Xun Fu I believe it was the #54 brush-the one I used to contour, right? All the steps are written out on the blog if you need anything else, but I think that was the one.
Can you tell me what you love love love for that inner triangle of the eye, the upper and lower lid - - the highlight that you do so well? Ugh, I try to do that and my products either look too glittery or get into the fine lines. Much appreciated for any help, Marnie. I love your videos and am a big fan .... thinking of you as you have an "empty nest" for one son.
+Faye Ehm I usually use a face highlighter-any of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors or the Balm Mary-Loumanizer will work great.

+Bréannā R. Del Toro That's not actually true. Clinique and Tom Ford are owned by the same parent company, Estee Lauder. So they gave me a little sampling of some products from a few of their lines. Estee Lauder owns Clinique, Mac, Bobbi Brown, Origins, Aveda, Jo Malone, and Smashbox, as well as a few other brands.

I was just about to order my Mac setting powder. It's a large jar of it and lasts 5 months or so. Very finely milled transparent color, good for paler complexions. I put is on with a huge fluffy IT powder brush. That's my favorite brush of all time. Now, I think I will add the Radiant Rose because I've heard good things about it. Thanks for your time to demonstrate. Helpful.

A southern girl tip* Instead of layering sunscreen over moisturizer, then foundation, I have started using baby sunscreen (50) with cover fx drops. Sunscreens for babies are a little more moisturizing, and I can have the coverage and glow all day. It's an easy and quick 'dupe' that seems to stay a little longer than makeup as we enter the muggy summer months. I even set it with powder and use bronzer when I choose to. Have a great summer and stay strong when u start packing your baby up in August!

Hi Marnie - love your videos! My question is about the under-eye products you use. I'm 50, and I worry that both concealer AND highlighter will just be too much stuff under my eyes. Can you recommend a product that works well as both a highlighter and a concealer? Thanks!
+Karen Alberstadt There's not a product that I know of that does both effectively. You just need to use the right products in light layers. I promise it will work!

+Melissa H Hi Melissa! Making UA-cam videos is my job now, but I originally started as a second grade teacher and reading specialist. I stopped working outside the home when my oldest son was born 18 years ago so I could be a stay-at-home mom. I started my UA-cam channel almost 6 years ago as a hobby and now I am incredibly shocked and grateful that it has turned into a full-time job. I learned what I know about makeup from watching a lot of videos, reading blogs, and trial and error. That was a great question and thanks for watching!

Never tried Mac prep + prime highlighter. Looks like it would be good for dark circles. Anyone know if it may be better than Bobbi Brown corrector?
I prefer my Bobbi brown corrector. I use the lightest shade. It's a lot thicker which I like on my full coverage days. But if im going more natural I'll use the Mac. It's a lot thinner. But still very bright!
