I love how you go into detail showing each product and presenting it. One of my favorite things that I enjoy is your makeup brushes. I'm in love with brushes. Beautiful look. The glow is what I am looking for thank you for your tips.
Marnie, what a gorgeous look. Beautiful (before the makeup, too)! Also loved both lip colors and your idea to wear one for day and use the darker red one for evening. I am so in awe of how fast you are at putting this look together. Just amazing and so fun to watch! ~ Janis from Florida
Very pretty! I like how you applied your foundation first and then applied your eye primer afterwards. Going to gives this a try today along with a few more things I saw and liked. Thanks!
I was just about to order my Mac setting powder. It's a large jar of it and lasts 5 months or so. Very finely milled transparent color, good for paler complexions. I put is on with a huge fluffy IT powder brush. That's my favorite brush of all time. Now, I think I will add the Radiant Rose because I've heard good things about it. Thanks for your time to demonstrate. Helpful.
I know you mentioned loving the Sunday Riley good genes and how much you liked it. I've tried a few samples of it and it is great. It is unlike any other skincare I've ever used.
I look forward to watching your videos! Stay safe, heard about the bad weather. Summer will eventually come! Here in VA we have had the wettest coldest spring that I have seen in 21 years. My poor garden hasn't been planted yet, too wet.
I Love Dermablend! It is great to cover under eye circles and as a bonus it works awesome to cover ugly leg bruises. Especially now that we are in short season. I am the worst at bumping into furniture and getting ugly bruises on my thighs.
I LOVE this look, and your make-up skilla have gotten SO good over the years, That lip color is beautiful, and seem like they would be soft and creamy as Bite lips creams. -Quincey
Just gorgeous! Your teeth are always perfect, but that red lipstick you applied at the end of the video made them look super-white. Thanks for this, Marnie. I love your GAW series.
Thankyou for sharing. Love this makeup, you look really beautiful. I also think your bare skin is looking amazing, you obviously have found skincare that works well for you.
+Vanessa K-J Thank you! I've added one particular item to my routine that I'm trying out...it hasn't been released yet but as soon as it is I'll tell you all about it!
A southern girl tip* Instead of layering sunscreen over moisturizer, then foundation, I have started using baby sunscreen (50) with cover fx drops. Sunscreens for babies are a little more moisturizing, and I can have the coverage and glow all day. It's an easy and quick 'dupe' that seems to stay a little longer than makeup as we enter the muggy summer months. I even set it with powder and use bronzer when I choose to. Have a great summer and stay strong when u start packing your baby up in August!
Hi Marnie. I'm always here. Watch every video. At the moment every video I say to myself 'how is she doing re Jake/college - what's the update, planning purchases, mentally' Please keep us informed. Whilst I'm in the UK and my twins do not go off to university for 2 years yet, this is a topic which so many of us relate to. Sending your kid off to college is massive. I'm hoping by watching you do it first I can prepare myself and be ready. I know as a mum some of this journey will be hard for you. Just know we are all here to support you and help you through it. I think you and Michael are great parents. Nothing would please me more than to witness Jake's successful transition to college. I would just like to share the family journey that will no doubt dominate your summer. Take care Lisa.
+Makeupgalore1 Thanks Lisa! I'm sure I'll keep you all updated as the summer progresses...and I'll probably write a blog post (or two) about the journey...it is comforting to know that you're on this journey with me!
I love the look but I honestly don't have time for all of the different products you used; ie. just for under eye. WOW! Hopefully you will have some tips on 'how to look fab and get out the door quickly' videos. :) Thank you!
Beautiful Look Marnie! I am going through some of your videos and writing things down! Our BonTon stores are closing and Younker's has some Fabulous deals! I picked up so many lipsticks from Lancôme, like Pink to the Club, and The New Pink, just to name a couple! I know everything is all about "the Matte Lip"... but I have always loved shimmer! Thought you might like Pink to the Club, as it is a nice shimmer to go over any lipstick 💄 that adds a nice gold pop! It's not as Pink as one would think! I would seriously send you one in a heartbeat! Let me know. Now is the chance for me to splurge on myself for once! There are so many products that I can go see, swatch and buy 70 % off! Love it! I picked up a nice bottle of Woman by RL! I would love to get you something! Thanks again for all you do! Let me know! 💄🛍
+Molly Farris Molly! It was so nice to meet YOU!! I learned so much from speaking with you-and you were totally right about the Lipstick Queen pencil. It's great!
Marnie, speaking of San Antonio, do you have a video up of your tips and restaurants and great shopping for those of us traveling to your great city for vacation? We are taking a vacation before we drop our daughter off at tennis camp and I haven't been there in over 12 years, so I'm at a loss! Love this video!
+wahlesah I am WAY overdue in doing a San Antonio Favorites blog post (a video would be tough), but the best I can offer is to look through the description boxes of my Weekly Vlogs. I always list the restaurants we visit and the places we go!
+Marnie Goldberg awesome, thank you. Yes, it would be a great blog post, and it would be much appreciated since I trust your judgement! I will check out the weekly vlogs as well. We look at all the travel info, but coming from someone who lives there is always so much better. We live in Santa Fe so we always love to hear where people get directed by the travel mags, and then we love to direct them to some additional can't misses!
Love your videos! I can't remember which ones day what shade you use in the DW concealer. I think I remember you wearing 2 different shades, but what is your go to for under eyes?
You must have filmed on Thursday morning.... It was pretty bad here in SA that morning! I live close to Fiesta Texas and were up on a hill so our house won't ever flood either. Stay safe and dry it's supposed to rain all week!
What was the Sephora brush you used after the 55 powder brush? Looks great. I know Sephora repackaged their brushes, but I am in love with their professional line so am eager to add new brushes to my routine.
+Xun Fu I believe it was the #54 brush-the one I used to contour, right? All the steps are written out on the blog if you need anything else, but I think that was the one.
Hi Marnie - love your videos! My question is about the under-eye products you use. I'm 50, and I worry that both concealer AND highlighter will just be too much stuff under my eyes. Can you recommend a product that works well as both a highlighter and a concealer? Thanks!
+Karen Alberstadt There's not a product that I know of that does both effectively. You just need to use the right products in light layers. I promise it will work!
Love these videos. I appreciate you taking the time to list all of the products, no matter where you put them. Its just geography! :) I left you a comment on Instagram about the Maskcara brushes....if you love a double ended brush, check them out. The quality is tops!
Love your get readys. So easy to follow. Side note. I ordered the Jenn bucket bag and fell so in love with the leather I just ordered the navy teddie tote and paid the $$$ so I can have it express mail. Patience is not in my dna.
Can you tell me what you love love love for that inner triangle of the eye, the upper and lower lid - - the highlight that you do so well? Ugh, I try to do that and my products either look too glittery or get into the fine lines. Much appreciated for any help, Marnie. I love your videos and am a big fan .... thinking of you as you have an "empty nest" for one son.
Marnie..this was great and you looked wonderful. Please can you tell me what you actually do for work..is You Tubing your job? Also you have a great knowledge on make up and brushes..how did that come about? Please give us an insight apologies if you have told everyone before but Ive only been following for a year and I've never heard you say 😊
+Melissa H Hi Melissa! Making UA-cam videos is my job now, but I originally started as a second grade teacher and reading specialist. I stopped working outside the home when my oldest son was born 18 years ago so I could be a stay-at-home mom. I started my UA-cam channel almost 6 years ago as a hobby and now I am incredibly shocked and grateful that it has turned into a full-time job. I learned what I know about makeup from watching a lot of videos, reading blogs, and trial and error. That was a great question and thanks for watching!
You’re a Picasso of make-up. Amazing job... Amazing result… I love it. . I make some videos too and your opinion will be so valuable. In the meantime, I really like your video.
Hey Marnie - Bare faced, you're looking great! As always, beautiful job explaining the step by step. Gorgeous finished look. Love the new lipstick. Also... is it wrong that I had my phone in my lap, hidden, while in the waiting room with my 80 year old mother, waiting for her day surgery appt? I think not. I was just hanging out with a friend! Also, since your barefaced look is so good, could you do a GRWM, with your super basic 'natural' look? Thanks! Just curious what that looks like nowadays. Take care!
I prefer my Bobbi brown corrector. I use the lightest shade. It's a lot thicker which I like on my full coverage days. But if im going more natural I'll use the Mac. It's a lot thinner. But still very bright!
I have been watching you for years and loved the fact that you listed everything in the description box and even once heard you say that you don't understand why other people direct you to blogs and different sites and now you r doing it. So i am a bit disappointed too. :( Why would you do i if it bothered you in the first place? With that being said I will continue watching you till the time you make videos coz you r just my favorite.
+doodleblush I'm not doing it anymore-this was in reaction to a few comments from other viewers that didn't like all the links in the description box. However, you're right, it's totally not me, and if they don't want to read the links, they don't have to open the description box. Don't worry, starting on Sunday I'm going back to my usual format!!
Wow, that is so weird that Clinique would gift you a Tom Ford Palette. I guess that shows that they don't stand behind their own products. Very unfortunate.
+Bréannā R. Del Toro That's not actually true. Clinique and Tom Ford are owned by the same parent company, Estee Lauder. So they gave me a little sampling of some products from a few of their lines. Estee Lauder owns Clinique, Mac, Bobbi Brown, Origins, Aveda, Jo Malone, and Smashbox, as well as a few other brands.
+Marnie Goldberg Thank you for that. I actually should have thought of that before I commented. I forgot for a second the cosmetics companies are very intertwined per se. Thanks.
That foundation looks so pretty! It really makes your skin look flawless!
I love how you go into detail showing each product and presenting it. One of my favorite things that I enjoy is your makeup brushes. I'm in love with brushes. Beautiful look. The glow is what I am looking for thank you for your tips.
Very pretty Marnie! Especially the lippie. Very classy and elegant makeup look. ❤️
Stunning! So gorgeous, and THEN that red lip....pushes it over the edge and beyond!
I'm in love with your natural eyebrows, they're perfect.
+Miraiwhitelock Thank you!!
I really like your GRWM videos. I always learn something. Thank you for that. Keep it up. ~Jackie
Thank you for the great tutorial! I absolutely love the look! And thanks for the less expensive options. You always post items for everyone!

Beautiful look, Marnie! You knocked it out of the park with the red lippie at the end! WOW! TFS! xoxoJanet
Thanks!

The Rodial Contour is also a stunner. I even like it a tiny little bit better then the Aucoin
I wish you’d do more makeup tuts! Really enjoyed it! 😊

I enjoyed your GRWM, it's a very fresh look. I noticed the addition of some detail to your description box, I value that & offer my thanks.

+Classy & Fabulous I love the Navy color!!! It's on my wish list!!
I know I am so exited. I am into the neons right now as well so I ordered a neon yellow wallet to pair with the tote to give it that pop :)
Can you tell me what you love love love for that inner triangle of the eye, the upper and lower lid - - the highlight that you do so well? +Faye Ehm I usually use a face highlighter-any of the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfectors or the Balm Mary-Loumanizer will work great.
So pretty.
Beautiful marnie! Have you tried the Milani eye primer?
+melissa pintone I haven't yet. I've heard mixed things.

+mickyunit I'm doing another GRWM for next Friday, and it's pretty much my standard look. Hope your mom is doing ok!!
+Marnie Goldberg Thank you! She's prepped and ready to go! Taking her to pancake breakfast afterwards :)
You know you look pretty amazing before you apply the makeup...
Never tried Mac prep + prime highlighter. Looks like it would be good for dark circles. Anyone know if it may be better than Bobbi Brown corrector?
I prefer my Bobbi brown corrector. I use the lightest shade. It's a lot thicker which I like on my full coverage days. But if im going more natural I'll use the Mac. It's a lot thinner. But still very bright!
+Rachel Chase Thanks so much for your reply. I use the Light too. I'll think more about it. Decisions, decisions.... lol
So no primer? and the coverage of that foundation was great.
+Christine Flick Because I have dry skin I like to use my moisturizer as a primer most days.
Hey I think it was you that mentioned deodarant...Fresh makes one that you may try.
❤️
Hi Marnie I'm sat here like a loon smiling at the way you sucked your cheeks in to do your contouring you looked so cute & made me smile. X

No problem-I was shocked to find out that most brands are owned by one of 3 companies. It's crazy!
It saves me from that unattractive, white, sunscreen face when I play tennis, go to the water park, or just carpool!
