If you really pay attention you'll notice that all these artists are from the USA. And Band-Aide was first from Britain, Live-Aide was from England. The commercials from Africa were absolutely heartbreaking!💔💔💔💔
@@laurak9666 Those commercials got a few to become billionaire's I'm sure. It was heart wrenching to see them, however, they never saw nowhere near the funds the should've.
I miss these days , when people from all walks of life , color and creed , religious backgrounds , political party , None of that mattered back then when there was a problem to be solved we came together and did our best to make the problem better, This would never happen in today's social environment
This original was in 1985 to raise money for severe famine relief in Africa. It was reworked in 2010 to raise money after the devastating earthquake in Haiti. And to be honest, we could ALL use this again now! 🤗💞
this is a great song, sadly lots of the people in the video have moved on to another place. But great thing about recordings and videos, they can live forever.. great reaction
I don't know what you do or what you listen to, lol. I was looking for this song to show a family member... and I just watched and laughed and teared up. I had forgotten how much of a banger this was and then some. I can't put it into words, lol. Thanks for posting.
Such an amazing song for a special cause...at the time there was a horrible famine going on in Ethiopia & the Sudan...more than 7 million people died in just a years time....and it was preventable which was the biggest disaster
I don't care what anybody says, they all killed it, but for me Bruce Springsteen killed it, woke it back up and then killed it again. That man sung like he was in pain especially when he came in with Stevie Wonder. He sung like he was giving birth to something!! I love Bruce Springsteen's voice, "There's a choice we're making and we're saving our own lives." I had to play his part over and over again!! Gave me chills!!

This was actually recorded in the middle of the night lol Most of them went to the studio right after the American Music Awards to record the song. This song came out in 1985.
This is literally one of my all time songs on childhood...and live aid...absolutely CRIED with you...esp in this time...bless and share the love. 🙏🇨🇦🌬♾🎸🎵

hi hello how are you, I just found your channel tonight, all your videos are very good all these songs make me shed tears and can remember this again oh by the way, which country do you come from and what city do you live in now??
This song is still relevant! Maybe more than ever! There's more star power on that stage than we'll ever see replicated! Be better, do better, so we can live better! ❤
I am so happy to see all of you young reactors experiencing this monumental event today! It truly was an amazing time. I'd love to see something like this done today, but I think the egos in music are just to big to all come together like this.
Watch the documentary, about an hour, how they built this and recorded it in one night. Check that out. Happy New Year! We need this right now❤️Masterpiece loaded with talent for a great cause.....Quincy Jones is a genius, facts.🎼🎶🎵🔥

If you want to see the true meaning of #morethanmusic I implore you to react to MJ man in the mirror moonwalker version. The way the people react to him and that song is astonishing to say the least.

One of the greatest boondoggles of all time. To this day no one can tell you what actually happened to most of the money that was raised (more than 51 million at the time with the album, single, and various concerts accounting for around 20+ million of the total). Most of the money seems to have been used for promotional and administrative costs, but no one ever talks about that. So sad!
You’re looking at the top of the entertainment industry on that stage.
^THIS^

I'm glad I was born and came up as a teen in this era of people and music. So much character and heart!!

That's some white washing of history.
