Give us an accurate launch monitor without subscription fee option that includes a basic range simulator to see shot trajectory. Uneekor seems to be the only one that check these boxes.
Yep. This. Very sick of subscription fees which is essentially a pay wall. If someone could come out with a photometric launch monitor that has club and ball data for $3500. That product is going to dominate this space.
I hear your point. Just so you know, I purchased a Golfzon Vision Wave launcher. The driving range feature is free, plus a software for practice green approach and practice green. The golf package does com with 9 courses without a subscription fee, however, you can add 100+ for a subscription fee. They let you use the 100+ courses for a few months to see IF you want to add the subscription, in my case I got 50% off. Also, you have a putt reader no other golf simulator has with pretty cool accuracy. Pricey? I paid $3100 for it around the holidays. Prices are getting competitive. I expect prices will continually fall for a while. However, there is so much more in the Golfzon package in terms of total golf experience. If you just want ball data, Golfzon isn’t for you. However they have a very good skills app that comes with the package that work off your phone, IPad, Android. Best regards.
@@MichaelJones-ff9gb From my understanding photometric launch monitors are better at getting spin numbers, mevo has some issues with spin of shots at times.
I’m a BLP owner. It’s really good, but they’re on borrowed time with their ridiculous fee amount. I think it needs to be directly matching skytrak. All I really want is a good range with good numbers, their $500/yr is missing the mark for people who have limited time and aren’t interested in playing courses.
The first manufacturer that makes a sub-$2000 camera based launch monitor (that's accurate) and doesn't require any stupid subscriptions to have all its features gets my money.
I love your honesty and non biased approach. Also the detail is spot on when you discuss things. I watched your previous video about the bushnell as why we should not buy it and it was also on point. It made me question myself on what is really important based on the statements you gave. A real guided approach on things.
You just sold me on BLP. I currently have SkyTrak and have had it since 2016. It’s on the fritz and shots are misreading / not reading(sucks when you flush one and it doesn’t read.. Happens often enough to be annoying). I was going to buy the SkyTrak + but I’m so glad I came across your channel. Thank you.
With GS Pro seeming to be the gold standard in sim software, the $750/yr price tag is just too steep still...even with the free year. With Uneekor releasing their LITE model for $2700 you get ball and club data. To use GS Pro you only need to pay for the Pro package license which is $200/yr, and GS Pro is natively supported. That's a $300 annual savings in licensing. Until Bushnell has some sort of license fee for 3rd party connectors that can match this, they're out as I plan my sim build.
I think Uneekor is reading every shot to have way more fade spin than reality, Im sure they'll fix it eventually with a firmware update but that would be pretty frustrating to deal with
It is such a damn shame these aren't available in Canada. I don't understand the region locking at all. So many golfers in Canada need a simulator for 6 months of the year
as much as I really want this BLP the sub price is just too much. All this does is give me 1 year then force me to pay to keep my set up going. I still just cant get past the meevo plus if you have the room and the skytrak plus if you dont.
I am really happy with the Garmin for a small fraction of this cost. Under $600, comes with E6 connect (range and some courses) and you can CHOOSE weather to pay a subscription fee for more features. You might save some $$ up front with this deal BUT then they've "got you" because you have their hardware.
Great deal but Golf is a “game for a lifetime” I’ve heard once or twice 😊. Going for this strikes me as shortsighted. These subscription biz models are the worst
@@Ryankj111 In the beginning of the BLP, they had an option to pay $$ upfront so it essentially turned the BLP into a GC3 as there is no subscription model now going forward ever.
If you get the ball + club version, you don’t need to buy a subscription to use any of that functionality, right? The subscriptions only relate to using the device for a simulator? In other words, if you just plan to use it at the range or on the course, you can buy the device and that’s it?
Launch Pro is absolutley worth the cost if you can afford it. Had a SkyTrack with GSPro and not looking back after B Launch Pro upgrade. Also love FSX Play and use it over GSPro.
I had the Full Swing kit, and got a $1000 off (so it was 4k to me). No extra fees with ball/ club data....If you are even REMOTELY in the market, how can you pass that up?
I want this bad. Bushnell needs to sweeten the deal for the next 5 to 10 years. The fees after the first year are way too high for me to purchase. Again, I want this monitor badly.
People think too much about the subscription and freeze up but when you do the math it is a no brainer. A round of Golf is about $50. The subscription on a per month basis is $40 a month or less than the average round. Going to a range is a $15 + gas affair. When you add them all up they far exceed the sub fee. People want free stuff and that will never change.
@@E5826T yes got a GC3 prime day for 1/2 found a retailer that was willing to “bundle” me with another customer only catch was had to ship to the retailer first and then he shipped the units to me but it arrived within a week
I just can’t see why anyone would buy a Bushnell Launch Pro over a Mevo Plus. Just as good without the ridiculous recurring fees. And let’s be real $2k for just ball data is ridiculous. 😂
I get the sentiment, but there are definitely advantages to the Launch Pro. Takes up less space, easier to setup each use, built in screen, and FSX Play I think is best in class simulator software. BUT,. I agree, I think the Mevo Plus is the better fit for most people.
BLP lost me when i started exploring all their pricing, its insane. Lets be real, any good golfer wants cub data, you’re spending $3500. Then just to use the features you already bought you have to pay $500 a yr….EVERY YEAR! Now to use GSPRO its another $250 a year. Want to use BLP sims courses but want to buy a few more….yeah, $150 a course. Needless to say but i will never be buying a BLP and feeding Bushnells greed. For those of you looking for an indoor sim under $5000, i have a friend who reviews them, has tried them all except for new Uneekor mini lite, and his opinion is Skytrak+ is best unit available.(GSPRO not integrated yet but Skytrak is, so matter of time?)
@@LeBraun300 - LOL - like you have counted the greens? There are some awesome difficult greens if you choose to play those courses. I haven’t found half the greens flat.
