You’ve got me leaning towards the SkyTrak +. I am putting together my first simulator room and the ease it operates & price and your review have me excited about the product. But I’m concerned about its comparability with GSPro, can you advise please ?
ST+ owner here. I was able to get GSpro to work. After I confirmed it worked, I bought the lifetime license for 500 bucks (250 per year if you want constant updates - im choosing not to until its not stable) and I've got lots of success. The discord really helps and it was pretty quick to set up if you know your way around your files on your computer. Again, not hard at all. Love it and im glad I did it.
Phew! I hope there won't be a test on this later. Well done...I did contribute to an extra 25 views just so I could digest it all. Thanks for the great info!
I’m older so I’m far from a techie and I figured out the BLP and I do enjoy it. Love that is sets right next to you where I used to have the Flightscope mevo and that 8 ft behind and in front, plus balancing it was more a PITA.
The BLP is a great deal in my opinion. People like to harp on the subscription, but there’s no way I could ever afford or justify a GC3 for $6,000+. But the BLP for $2K and then $500/year made it attainable for me. I started with an MLM2Pro but exchanged it for a BLP and the experience is so much smoother, especially using GSPro. The EyeMini at $3,500 is more than I could spend initially, and the upcoming Eye Mini light I wouldn’t be able to take to the range. So the ball only BLP is a great entry point in my opinion. By the way, thanks for all your helpful videos on launch monitors, I’m a new buyer and the videos were very helpful and in-depth!
Ok Sean, I have researched quite a bit after realizing the Garmin R10 may not be the best for me and my dedicated golf room / sim build. I have watched this video 3 times, I have talked several “quizzes” and Skytrack+ has always come up. I must admit i am intrigued about the ST+ software and even more now that it has course play and 31 courses. I read somewhere they plan to have 100 courses at some point. Have you tried the course play in the skytrak? With the eye mini lite, does that now become a better option than the ST+? The EML has 5 courses on refine and you can add GSPro, supported for $450 a year total.
Great content! Thanks for making it. I have used the skytrak with E6 for years and loved it. The only issue was no club data. Now with the skytrak+ there is club data, but it is extrapolated from the spin data I believe. Curious what you think about the skytrak+ club data versus the Uneekor. For $250/year subscription on the Skytrak+ with access to a 15 E6 courses, that is pretty hard to beat. But ultimately, if the club data is way more accurate on the Uneekor, that's the most important thing.
Hey Sean, great video! I recently purchased a used Bushnell Launch Pro from a local golf shop. They used it as a simulator to fit people coming into the store so they had the gold package. From my understanding the old gold package subscription you received club data and the new gold subscription you do not get club data unless you pay the $1,500. My question is will I have to pay the $1,500 to get the club data back or does the club data stay with the device? Thanks for all of the great informative content you put out.
Love your reviews Sean! Is there any chance you plan to update your review of the Skytrak Plus now that they do have their own Simulator Software? I know it just came out, but it seems like a big jump for them and a pretty good value proposition in comparison to the other two.
I’m looking to get a golf Sim set up for my dad in his garage. I’ve watched about 1000 of these review videos and every day I’m thinking something different could be best. What’s your opinion? He’s in his 80s so I need simple set up and use. He doesn’t need crazy stats. Is a 15 handicap. Would like an enjoyable simulator experience with some thing that provides real world improvement. His garage size lends itself better to a side set up than it does one that has to be 8 feet behind. He doesn’t do anything on PC anymore. All his electronics are iPhone, and iPad based.
Great review thanks! I'm looking for a launch monitor with the most accurate club data, as I think it will benefit me the most, and I can carry on with practice from my lessons. It will used with a net in the garden, set up to a Laptop (no projector). The simulator aspect whilst enjoyable is not a priority for me. What would you recommend in the 5k market? I was also looking at the Full swing kit.
Which one has the least amount of lag/delay after hitting a shot??? Granted if you have a powerful enough pc…. Skytrack is over 2 seconds is what i have been reading online. Thanks.
With the new Skytrak+ upgrade in June 2024, are you working on an update or revisit of this video or just Skytrak+ in general? Would quite like to see that, if so. Really for me it is coming down to Uneekor or Skytrak+ and it's quite difficult to decide.
I have a scenario I would love your help with...I am a golf coach and looking to get one of these 3. I was sold on the SkyTrak, but recently was told the most users I could have per unit was 8. Now I am leaning towards the uneekor because I am told it will let me create and track 50 users, but I am not sold on the simulator software. If you were a high school golf coach, which one of these units would be best for an entire team (20-30 kids) of various skill levels to use for year round practice? Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Eye mini has alot of software problems and their analytics are often off for the numbers of the golf shot. They are way behind the BLP when it comes to that.
Response time is a big factor for me using a sim. I hear the skytrak has a more noticeable delay and as a GSpro user, I’m between the uneekor and flightscope. Which unit have you noticed the quickest response time?
Great review and comparison. Seems like these are all their infancy with the potential of changes coming down the road. For those of us that are a little older it reminds me of the VHS vs. Beta battle to supremacy. However in this battle you are risking a few thousand dollars if you choose wrong.
Didn’t Uneekor mention something at the PGA show regarding new simulator software with extensive U.S. courses? Happy Mevo plus user here, but I do find the putting finicky.
No sub without putting but they just added putting and it works great but I think you have to have the Play and Improve sub for it to work.@@pooptommy123
Thinking of slowly building a simulator over time - starting with a launch monitor, net, and iPad set up and slowly upgrading over time. If you had to choose between Skytrak+ vs the Uneekor with only iPad, which would you choose?
If you're starting first only going with an iPad, I'd personally probably lean towards the SkyTrak+. For me, I enjoy using their iPad app more than any of the other competing products out there. I think the Uneekor arguably might be a little bit more accurate, and the built-in screen is nice, but for what you're doing - I think the SkyTrak+ is a great option that will save you a little money and allow you to build it out as the time is right.
I use my skytrak+ with a sporina spg 8 net and iPad Pro. So far it’s been great, the ST+ misses some shots on occasion and mostly with lob wedge, but not enough to stay away and could be due to the fact that I use it solely outdoors
Question…taking the pricing out of it, which launcher is better for simulator accuracy and consistency for ball and club data? BLP or Uneekor Eye Mini/Lite?
Honestly, in my experience as it is the Eye Mini and Uneekor are pretty close. For me, accuracy wouldn't be the primary driver between buying one or the other. They're both great.
I got a lightly used Skytrack+ for $1650 out the door. I plan to try the Course play as the look to have the best courses. I can try GS Pro which also has great courses. The lowest subscription of the 3
For anyone here who this can help. I bought the Skytrak+ and here are my issues with it. I'm extremely frustrated and am likely to return it. 1) Free trial does not include course play! I asked sales though and they gave me one. But my Skytrak+ won't update and I still can't play course play 2 days later. 2) They severely limit what courses you can use with third party simulator software. Why! Just let the consumer get whatever they want! They specifically limit the number of courses you can get with TCG, and E6, but it looks like maybe E6 let's you get more on their website. 3) Android support is terrible. 4) Missed hits! It is missing hits about one every 10 times. I'm planning on writing this down to get real numbers. I've never hit on it and not have miss hits. 5) Charging sucks! It rarely charges when being used. You have to follow a specific setup, and sometimes it fails. I left it charging, plugged in only to the wall over night, and it charged 0%. Why does this not just work? 6) Setting up clubs is really annoying and it does not have every major brand in it. We have a set of adams clubs and adams isn't even in it. 7) It's slower than all other competitors if you're just talking about hits per hour on a range. It's very slow to go from a contacted swing, to when you can make your next hit. 8) It uses high speed cameras but has no high speed camera replay. Really silly. 9) They built it with only one usb-c port. So it's the same port for charging and usb connection. Stupid. This just causes so many problems. 10) The shield you can buy for the unit does not fit well when using usb-c connection. The fittings for the shield for the SkyTrak+ get in the way of the cord. Really dumb, like no one even thought about it when they made it.
SkyTrak is just junk. I tried it and it went back as it constantly disconnected, was inaccurate and had massive number of misreads. to be replaced by the BLP which is accurate and reliable. Haven’t tried the eye.
I have the ST+ and am extremely underwhelmed by it. Have requested the shop where I bought it to exchange for the Uneekor Mini Lite, that’s about the same pricepoint and I’m not moving it anyway ;)
You’ve got me leaning towards the SkyTrak +. I am putting together my first simulator room and the ease it operates & price and your review have me excited about the product. But I’m concerned about its comparability with GSPro, can you advise please ?

I think it’s important to note that the ST+ has club data included.
Sean love your indepth and honest reviews. Keep up the great work Sir

Great review! Definitely want more reviews on the software and actual playing.
I’m glad I fully unlocked to BLP when that was still an option.
Great content! Thanks for making it. I have used the skytrak with E6 for years and loved it. The only issue was no club data. Very good vid! I have ST for my indoor practice. No game so no fees. I've looked the other options but all had some fees to get the most data.
At 4:36, I see FSX Pro is showing impact location. I didn’t think the GC3 captured that info. Was that data derived from a GCQ?
Thank you for putting this review together! Is the Club Path & Face Angle data accurate/consistent on the Skytrak+?

Sean - Great review as always. now if I could find the space for a sim....

Any reviews on the Full Swing Kit?
Great video, Sean. Loved this. -Nik Bando
Appreciate it, Nick!
Eye Mini and the new Eye Mini Lite are clear winners.
I am super super close to pulling the trigger on this. Can you over thread and explain why in your opinion?
Eye mini has alot of software problems and their analytics are often off for the numbers of the golf shot. They are way behind the BLP when it comes to that.
Response time is a big factor for me using a sim. I hear the skytrak has a more noticeable delay and as a GSpro user, I’m between the uneekor and flightscope. Which unit have you noticed the quickest response time?
Eye Mini vs Mevo Plus is the hardest decision for me. Looking for indoor use mainly.
Thats not hard comparison. Mevo plus is awful at picking up side axis and won't give you a legit shape. Also camera based is way better indoors
I would love an Eye Mini but it is double the cost of the Skytrak +. It is working beautifully for me.
Great review and comparison. Seems like these are all their infancy with the potential of changes coming down the road. For those of us that are a little older it reminds me of the VHS vs. Beta battle to supremacy. However in this battle you are risking a few thousand dollars if you choose wrong.

What about the club stickers for club data? Isn't Mini better?
FYI I use Skytrak + with GSPRO through an API works great but no putting yet.
And no subscription needed?
No sub without putting but they just added putting and it works great but I think you have to have the Play and Improve sub for it to work.@@pooptommy123
Great video! Your are the boss of this stuff.
Thinking of slowly building a simulator over time - starting with a launch monitor, net, and iPad set up and slowly upgrading over time.

Uneeekor is going to give you an impact slow-mo on your iPad. Might consider the EMLite, since that's a more direct competitor to ST+
BLP now includes Awesome Golf on iPad as well…so there is a more user friendly iPad experience.
If I buy a used gc quad will I have to pay a transfer fee for the software ?
Despite what you said the Skytrak Plus HAS Doppler radar as well as Optical !! You corrected yourself at the end ....
If I just want to hit inside all winter long, no simulator, but want to include club data... BLP?
Question…taking the pricing out of it, which launcher is better for simulator accuracy and consistency for ball and club data? BLP or Uneekor Eye Mini/Lite?
Honestly, they're going to be pretty similar. So between those I dont think I'd make accuracy my primary driver of which one I'd buy.
Do you think with time and firmware upgrades the Eye Mini could get as accurate as the BLP? If so, the Eye Mini lite seems like a great option.
Honestly, in my experience as it is the Eye Mini and Uneekor are pretty close. For me, accuracy wouldn't be the primary driver between buying one or the other. They're both great.
Launch pro would be a winner but lacking the ability for face angle on camera based launch monitor is a shame. Sadly
Why cant skytrack handle grass??? I was just about to order one til I heard you say that... Thats crazy if true 😢
You can get an Eye Mini on sale for 3500
Where?
For use as a home simulator with a budget (I would like to play pebble beach) which is the best?
I got a lightly used Skytrack+ for $1650 out the door.
I plan to try the Course play as the look to have the best courses.
I can try GS Pro which also has great courses.
The lowest subscription of the 3
Fsx play is $150 for pebble download. Just get gs pro with eye mini or BLP
