Derrick Rose was absolutely ELECTRIC in his MVP campaign, but does he get too much love for that one season, or do we give him the pass due to injuries out of his control?
This video, or rather the comment section, shows what's wrong with the internet. No counter points, just stuff like "L take" or "you don't know ball" or "you just love LeBron." Not saying Rose didn't deserve the award, but it could have easily gone to LeBron, who was punished for the "decision", in my opinion. People always get extra credit when they are very young or very old. If Rose were 27 years old and had the exact same season, no way he gets the award in my opinion. Wouldn't have minded Dwight getting it either. I'd say Nash was the most overrated, though. By advanced metrics, Nash was only the 3rd best player on his own team.
@@Kay2SPZ It was voter fatigue, bron won in 2009 and 2010, and the controversy over his leaving cleveland. Bron went on to win mvp again in 2012 and 2013. Pretty much every season from 2007-2018 they could've given it to lebron but they like to mix it up a little bit.

My guy uses lebrons regular season stats to boost his case while using roses playoff performance against him. All while Lebron dumping his pants in the finals as well, but why would we mention that?
see, im gonna be honest, drose won the mvp, yes he is my top 2 fav player oat, but it shouldve gone to bron but as a counter arguement, every mvp has a story behind it, whether you hate it or not, there is always a story behind it, and drose had a very compelling narrative hence he won the mvp and also his stats were good, yes they werent no lbj stats but it was good. love your take on it, keep doin what you doin
