I was in a proper mental state tonight to hear the brilliance of this entire album of music. Saw them as the warmup band to the Police at Rainbow Music Hall in Denver. It's now a Walgreens, which I bet Specials would appreciate.
Born in '87, and currently listening through this LP for the 1st time. So far I'm utterly incapable of wrapping my mind around how brilliant this shit is...
I was was busy, listening to progressive rock, and a friend of mine gave me a cassette and said listen to this. I didn’t know what the hell it was, but I sure thought it was cool. Changed my life. Still listen to Ska to this day.
Wore the grooves flat on this vinyl album when I was a teen. Pretty sure every neighbor who lived anywhere around me wound up knowing the whole album, track by track.
The brilliance of lyrics come in their universal meaning to as many people as possible. The Specials sing, "It up to you!" I agreed I choose not to eat veal, not for anybody! I think it's a disgrace!
@@tao6866 my brother in Christ... Put veal into the search bar again and tell me it comes from a pig 🥱🤣 Also I admit to "assuming" original commenter's dietary preferences
I can't imagine any punks trying to hide this! After all, the Ska revival was a combination of the original Caribbean Ska music with the punk music of '70s England.

When you were listening this LP at the first time, you knew that it was a masterpiece.

Just haaaaaaad to tell everyone you're vegan
@@isaiahh3754 Not eating veal doesn't make you a vegan. It's literally ham. Does not eating pork make muslims vegan? No.

Pure
One love my youth was up too you what you really want too do?..
Never noticed the similarity to Joe Jackson before.
The intro always reminds me of the Sesame Street theme song lol
The intro is classic early Elvis Costello, who produced this album.
Make the right choice folks. Would Terry vote for a bunch of fascists?
Who's here from Dopey?
Tune!!!
