I bought the Korg Nautilus 88 but I'm thinking of selling it because I don't understand much about it and then it has very few buttons so I can't use it properly.
This Fantom 0 could very well replace it because its interface looks nicer and the integrated sequencer more affordable than the Korg one... There is also the yamaha modx8 but it's complicated too I think. The only problem is the quality of manufacture. The korg is top quality with a very good heavy keyboard (the rh8 of the kronos). On this point, I do not know what to expect with a Roland Fantom 08. Would I make a mistake by selling my Nautilus for a Fantom 08? 😁
Was the goal to emulate a vintage Korg 01/W? Then you have succeeded. The real talent of the Fantom is in the performance mode.
The preset sounds/patches of the xps30 are in the preloaded voices of the fantom 06?
I would love a video of an orchestral sounds compilation from this keyboard. I think therese an expantion or something

Ciao, grazie! No i due strumenti non sono compatibili tra loro perchè usano tecnologie differenti e diversi sistemi operativi al loro interno.
Troverai tanti suoni che avevi nella fa anche dentro fantom-0 ma devi rifarteli di nuovo

Bella dimostrazione, come solito . Cosa ne dici della "keybed" ho sentito che e' totalmente nuova, e dicono sia piacevole da suonare . I suoni sinceramente sono belli
Grazie, si la keybed è migliorata, è comunque simile a quella della FA07 anche se un pochino meno “secca” come corsa del tasto. Comunque è molto godibile come tasto e stiamo parlando sempre di uno strumento che pesa 6kg nella versione 61

Yes you can, you have to activate that function into the menu. And you can use only up to 8 part with seamless sound changing

Not all, you can find some similar sound, for example the supernatural pianos and EP’s but many sounds are new. Also here you have the zen core engine and you can load/export sounds with other zen core instruments (Jupiter x/xm, rd88, juno x, fantom..)
I ordered the 08. I hope I don't fall on my face with the keyboard bed... Have you had any experience with the keyboard bed with 08?
I own a digital piano Roland Fp-10 ....he has the same keybed of Roland Fantom 08. Weighted keys , similar to a real piano. I like that keybed very much.

Yes, factory sounds and waveforms, no models (jp8, juno etc..) and no extra bank (exz, free on roland cloud manager but you have limited space and you can’t load all into F0)
@@DKS-SYNTH-LAB Could you explain this a bit more? Im new to the Fantom. I know what a exz is, but why would this be a different size to the paid version you have (im still going to go for the paid version, but interest to know what the difference is). Thanks.

This demo consists almost entirely of pads and strings. The synth can do infinitely more!!
And no example add a excellent dram machine with it?.I know that's its have that.

Are the Fantoms compatible? I mean, does the Fantom-0 has the same engine as a senior Fantom?
They share the same zen core engine, you can load 4 model expansions into fantom-0 like fantom, but they are extra (149$ each). with fantom you also have V-piano engine (not present into fantom-0), and also N/zyme it’s only available for fantom and not for Fantom-0

If you need good FM sounds probably Yamaha Modx+ is a better choice 😉
Ho sentito che la FA07 ha però paradossalmente la keybed 76 semipesata migliore della 76 synth action della Fantom 07..com'è possibile abbiamo montato qualcosa di peggio in un modello superiore?
La FA07 era l'unica che aveva un tasto diverso da Fa06 o Juno Ds, sulle nuove Fantom-0 hanno usato un tasto diverso ancora, sinceramente non lo trovo così malvagio, ma si il tasto (solo della FA07) era leggermente migliore come risposta. Poi dipende sempre da integrazione tasto/strumento, perchè la meccanica di Fantom-06 è montata anche su Juno-X con l'aggiunta di aftertouch ma inserendo quel tasto in uno chassis metallico la risposta è ancora differente. Sicuramente su Fantom 0 aiuta a contenere il peso generale dello strumento.
Beh a livello di tasti,non è un granché. Io ho la 76 tasti ha suonarci il piano non è una goduria. La cosa è sempre molto soggettiva, poi io penso che un pianoforte vada sempre suonato almeno con tastiera semipesata. Per gli altri suoni va più che bene ma penso che avrebbero potuto trovare un compromesso migliore.
The problem with this piano is that it doesn't have V piano sounds and it doesn't have after touch. I was going to buy it but I decided on montage 6 which has better piano sounds than Fantom 0.
I actually like the supernatural engine on the jupiter 80 way better than zencore. They have gone backwards with this generation

I would expect a modern synthesizer to be able to use wavetables too and not just classic waveforms ??
Zen-Core allows you to use thousands of PCM waveforms and a bunch of analog models. It is like a marriage of the best Roland classic synths from 80s and 90s, but even with the better quality, more polyphony, more dynamic range and lots of modern features. You get all the Roland legacy at its best.
Para mim o fantom x não faz muita diferença concernente ao fantom 0.
I had Fa07 and I don't hear any big difference
Roland Fantom X or G has better sounds in my opinion.
Maybe the factory presets but I find Roland synthesizers can go far beyond the factory presets.
Fantom X and G are top level workstation like Fantom. Fantom-0 it’s a mid-level workstation, they are not on the same level
@@DKS-SYNTH-LAB The new Fantom and Fantom 0 series beats the X and G series in sound quality, patches, specs and overall superior to the X and G. The only thing the X and G series have over the Fantom 0 series is build quality.
The biggest advantage of the “0” is you can download those favorite sounds from the earlier Fantoms, but it only weighs a fraction of the older Fantoms. My older FantomS88 weighs 87 lbs… A Fantom-08 weighs about 32 lbs! I don’t like the sequencer as much as the earlier linear sequencers, but the clip based format, like Ableton, is the future..
@@MrTndtv Rumors has it.... Roland is working on a new firmware update that will improve a much straight forward and user friendly sequencer and other improvements.
All I hear is complaints from people , I have this board , it's not perfect but it is a steal for the price point, especially when people are using DAWs and midi
