- Fallout 76’s next major update is live on the player test server, giving players a first look at the new map expansion in to Skyline Valley, the new 7th region in Appalachia.
In todays video we are running through all the new locations, the new public events and some of the new creatures & factions that call this region home. Before finishing with a selection of very interesting easter eggs that potentially tease future content.

The Skyline update is def the shot in the arm this game needed and absolutely the biggest update since Wastelanders. I just hope all the hype of the show sticks around so people stay for it.

This kind of reminds me of Cyberpunk when they released edge-runners anime and people started to come back
All people can do is enjoy the ride and make the game fun for new players . Avoid power leveling and high level drops unless it’s requested otherwise it’d would just ruin the experience for new players to the series who picked 76 up as thier first .
toss them stims and Radaway been doing that for many of the new low levels that been popping up
Started couple weeks ago before I heard there was a show the show just made me love 76 even more, it's my first fall out game that iv actually dedicated my self to playing the rest i ruined with mods in the first 10 mins or their graphics are just a bit dated for the day so never picked them up but I'm having so much fun I love the camp system seeing other people's bases and setting up your own trader what a cool concept level 65 right now I think maybe got the jet pack for the secret service chest armor and marsupial mutation jumping and jeting around so much fun haha
I'm not going to lie, I am super excited for this update. Based on what has been showcased in this video, this could very well be 76's best update since Wastelanders. It's precisely what the community has been asking for. I certainly hope that with the success of the Fallout TV show and the potential revenue that brings into the game via new players, that we'll continue to see more content like this dropping more frequently.
That was my feeling as well. Need to wait till after story quests for a final impression but overall really liked this first look.
What do you think about the new season pass? As a returning player, I thought the game board looked cool, but I never used it as I haven’t played since launch. I’m a little disappointed I won’t get to try it
@@jontay4199 I wasn't overly enthusiastic about the new season pass to begin with, but in reality little has changed; same principle just a different format.

In a lot of ways I think it is similar. We are yet to learn how much of an effect its having on the Lost though.
The Lost strongly reminded me of the Ghost People, and of those poor souls locked into Y-17 Trauma Harnesses in the Big MT.

Fun Fact it appears the Storm Goliath uses an advanced version of Fallout 4’s cut “Institute Power Armor” this can be clearly seen in the chest plate as both lack a Helmet and use their red chest plate to see

Fallout 76 has such intriguing concepts and lore in contrast to the other games. They really outdid themselves with this games writing
Its different, but in a fun way. I was a huge fan of how the base game's story was dealing with automation.

Be cool if in the future we could start as a Ghoul, have its own unique intro, and with the recent “start at level 20” thing they could wrap this thing around that, or even give Ghouls their own starting level. Additionally, people always download alternate start mods for Skyrim and plenty BGS titles, would be cool if it even randomized where you spawn in. Since Ghouls don’t have to start in a vault you could theoretically have the player start anywhere in Appalachia. With some randomized supplies/background with a note, giving you a reason to search for The Wayward and even maybe something to give you a reason to also look for the Overseer of 76, since you’re a ghoul maybe the overall reasoning could be spite or who knows what. Either way, there’s potential here for some cool shit.
Maybe the player was a vault 76 dweller who was ghoulified after being knocked into a irradiated river or something?
Holy hell is Vault 63 huge. The idea of the vault metro is, for some reason, making me think of the USG Ishimura from Dead Space with the tram in the middle.
Mate I could have carried on going when I was exploring some of it. Really fascinated to learn more.
At least it's a good excuse as to how a Vault is already churning out a large number of people into the wasteland. Most Vaults have a relatively small population.
seriously that vault is the biggest in Fallout so far, it literally spans 2 regions on the map.
I just wanna say, it's amazing how quickly your channel has grown since you started making videos on a video game which wasn't particularly popular back then. But your way of "straight to the point" presentation, great editing skills and general attitude helped you immensely. It's not really an expansion of the map but more of them filling in the empty area at the bottom middle of the map
It's still cool to see this happen, perhaps in the future they'll truly extend the length of the map with even more regions down the road.
Yeah I feel like they intentionally left some space in places hopefully they fill it all out to the max
Being from Staunton, Virginia and living in these mountains it will be awesome to explore the Valley and Shenandoah National Park!
This looks like a fun update can't wait to see what new cryptids are introduced if any I hope those mutant turkeys drop meat so our vault dwellers can walk around with giant turkey legs
I'm glad to see there finally doing something with Vault 63 because to those who don't know, Vault 63 had a completed interior and everything since before Vault 91 dropped. Way back when i was able to glitch into 96, 91 and 63. 91 was completed and looks the same as now, 96 was incomplete with a unique weapon at the start called the "Metabolic Syringer" and a message at the end which literally said "Congrats asshole", and 63 has been completed forever now, so its actually nice to see them give it purpose.

Though it's probably a small thing, I'm excited that we're hearing Norfolk mentioned as a location. This is an interesting location IMO to explore (being home to literally the world's largest naval port and some nice gardens & museums in my experience). Has potential for a new expedition destination, something focusing on the Enclave or even BOS, but we'll have to wait and see.
As a Virginian, the Norfolk namedrop was awesome!

I was listening to this video on my way to work. I had to comment, because when you got to the part about Naval Station NORFOLK, I actually work at Fleet forces command.
Ah no way! Out of interest what’s the location like? I haven’t seen many images yet but interested to know if it would make a good Enclave base in Fallout
It’s the largest naval base in the world. Lots of buildings, shops, airfields and piers. USFFC is actually on a satellite base called NSA.

I live next to skyline drive. This is dope. Rapidan camp takes the map just north of monticello, UVA, government bunkers, etc alot of possibilities
I hope we go to California for a future expedition so much opportunity for content and story to connect to Fallout 1 and 2 especially after seeing the Wanamingo in this update.
Dog California is a massive stretch. I doubt a vertibird can make it there, considering the Brotherhood has to modify a vertibird to reach Far Harbor is Fallout 4
I think California would deserve its own new game

This shit is the kind of expansion I’ve wanted since 2018. Not expeditions, just making the damn map bigger and giving us new things to explore right in Appalachia. It’s not as if there’s not enough real world locations to draw from.
Really happy amazon gave 76 away for free for my PC, the performance is at least better than what it was on console that i have fallen into a 76 addiction after watching the fallout show i wanted a fallout experience i never gave a crazy effort in unlike the prior of the series. Within 3 nightly gaming seshs, i went from 1 to 50 where on my xbox acc back in the day was in the 40s and had MUCH more time played lmao.
The Enclave in this update? Fingers crossed 🤞

Not 100% sure just yet if they will appear in the flesh but think at the very least we are getting legit teasers for future content.

This update looks so good holy shit. Though I love what they did with expeditions recently this is awesome. More of this please! Oh and I want a prefab since forever of those ash heap houses near vault 63, the Garrahan estate.
Im looking forward to learning about the secrets of Vault 63. Love the new concept/ enemies, should be fun!
I hope this update sets a precedent for more map expansions in the future, there's so many border areas that could be expanded on.

absolutely awesome update, hope we get more map expansions at some point, maybe to the west across the river would be cool. I also hope we can get a quest with the communists, guys seem pretty chill. I also wonder if the clear weather camp item effects the storm, or if we could get one that puts the red storm at our camp
The red storm reminds me of the Harrow Storms in western Skyrim in ESO.

I’m hoping we get to see something come out of the three locations shown in the military bunker. I’m guessing they’re alluding to Norfolk Navel Base being an Enclave base, seeing as how Raven Rock is the Enclave base of operations in the Capital wasteland of Fallout 3, and the Poseidon Oil Rig was the Enclave headquarters in Fallout 2.
This is amazing, I’ve been telling those haters for a long time you just have to wait this game is gonna blow peoples socks off, and look at all this amazing stuff coming, this guy is definitely excited about all this!!!

Everything looks great the creatures the lost look very unique especially those boss robots really cool idea of fighting 2 and I hope there will be an Enclave questline that would be really cool
and one of the cultist symbols kinda looks like vault tec's emblem could be a stretch but never know
There's a little secret cave at Camp Liberty. It's not something you have to glitch into to find though. It's just hidden.

Only thing that’d make this more hype is new guns you could find being used in the wild by the lost.
Okay gotta wait till we see full story for this new area but as of now I’m very excited. The atmosphere looks fantastic and my god I love that manor. The story implications like the enclave or weather stations are also pretty incredible

The one symbol surround the pyre (fire) is the same symbol found on Ma June’s book cover from the Fallout Show.

I couldn't get the Dark Hollow Manor map point to unlock on the PTS. And I spend around an hour traveling around, over and in it.

So Norfolk Naval Base confirmed to be an enclave base?? Lets gooo. It has sense too. I mean, Norfolk its one of the most important shypyards in the USA. Damm, it would be cool to see the Enclave Rebuilding the Naval Fleet stationed there.

While all of this looks really great, and I can’t wait, I am extra excited for old crimora mine, for there are named cultists in this area, so we might be able to join a sect of the followers of the winged ones. I am really hopeful and have to wait for part 2 to see.

I wonder how a nice clean vault got ghoulified? I know one section had tons of radiation seeping in. Hopfully they fully explain that.
I really like this game! I am still trying to get the hang of it….all the enemies are realllly big bullet sponges, is this by design? Or likely due to a faulty build on my part?

I wonder if we’ll ever get any more map expansions. I don’t know how much longer F76 will be actively supported by Bethesda/Microsoft, so I personally have my doubts.
It’s going to be years til the next fallout and they did there absolute best to revive it so I don’t think they wil just drop it.
I left plus and game after finding how many plans and cash money purchased items continued to dissappear from my inventory (well more than 50 at last count) . Other player's left well before me with same issue . As if $120 a year would be potential for better security it appears not true . In any case I still enjoy your videos and support your quality and effort .
