I actually have a single 10 and for a single unit i wasn’t impressed....before doing a single 10 I had dual IX-8s and definitely love those....maybe getting 2 IX10s will make a difference
@@aidfisky6877just ordered 2 of the ix 10 d2s, going on a martz digital mxd500 2 ohm, building a 4 cubic ft box tuned to 28hz going in my 08 pontiac vibe, will let you know how they sound, also the 8s will do good as well I used to have 1 ix 8 d2 in a 99 chevy Silverado 1500 regular cab in a center console box on an rp.800 with the amp obviously turned down and it got louder than expected had it in a 1.5 cubic ft box tuned around 30hz and it hit the lows harder than expected for being a entry level 8, also hit me up if you want a box design I could design you something for what ever subs you end up getting that will slam the lows, you'll be surprised on what a custom box can do for even entry level subs
@@aidfisky6877400 to the Skar 10” 400w DCV. I’m using a cheap amp with channels 3 and 4 bridged. Had to also get a FMOD 50hz low pass filter from Harrison labs.
@@r.h.e.ccreeksquadfan3510 I looked into the EVL8s... decided to go in a different direction... wanted to try the ma8s, they were sold out [no idea when they'll become available again]... ended up going with several ix8s. A small army of those ix8s 😉🙃 🤷♂️

Would you recommend two ix8s or two ix10s already have a 200 watt amp and just looking for somthing cheap to hook up to it with a custom box

One of my subs coil is going out. I was very disappointed.

I recommend them as a starter system, they go pretty low to about 30hz, they hit hard and can take beating for 45bucks
I've got the ix 10 and sdr12 huge difference spend the extra $55

@@jr1001jr the best skar i I've owned was the SVR 8, it loved being tuned to 34hz and could take 500 watts no issues
