I just Ordered 2 of these!!! to fit my duel 10" box and i have to ask, is that the decaf version of that song? And Holy flex those woofers are moving... i cant wait to mine to come in!!!
Very nice! Do you think that the rp350.1d would power 2 of the IX10D4s wired to 1 ohm? I have the amp and one ix10 running at 2 ohms. Was thinking of adding a second ix10 at 2 ohms but not sure if it would be too much for the amp.
@@joshuadominguez4918 haha that’s exactly what I’m doing 20% off everything. Can’t beat that! Getting one 8” sub and a few 6.5 as well as a set of tweeters for my classic mustang. I want some decent sounds but I’m not looking for massive bass. Just a good thump
I recently bought 2 IX8's dual 2 ohm and the RP 350.1D. I plan to run each dual 2 ohm sub at 4 ohms and than combine the 2 subs to a 2 ohm load on the amp at 250 watts rms per amp specs. What do you think of this set up?
Yeah they do....I’ve had 2 8inch IX8s for about 4-5years in a potted box and all sounds great....tuned correctly of-course. Since my system is about 4-5 years old (since Skar first stopped there very first 5channel amps) now I bought a whole new system, Skar Audio RP 5ch, IX 10 with their Skar Audio Ported Box, NVX V Series Speakers. Should sound pretty good once installed
@@thekidbart4528 I got a 5 ch amp from them. They recomended I only run 200 watts rms safely to these. What do you think? I asked why they said get 4 ohm subs instead of 2 to max output. They said because tend to only do well at rated
Looking for something for my boss's work truck, i think im going to go with this pair for him. My car i have a sony headunit 2 channel rca in in dash equalizer, 6 channel RCA to trunk to 6 channel crossover diverts 4 channel rca to RP150.4 which uses 9 wire conductor to run to factory harness, Skar 6.5s front and rear deck. The other 2 channels is diverted to a bass restoration processor and then another set of 2 channels to sub amp which is the RP800. Its hooked up to a skar svr 10 inch in skar ported box and it just aounds lovely. Main power wire is 0 gauge which goes to a distribution block with 4 4 gauge out. I use 2 for amps and also added a capacitor in line to sub amp. If i could change one thing it would be instead of the rp800 i would have went with the rp1500, not that the 800 is bad, its just with the sub wired down to 1ohm my amp is putting out the most power, the 1500 at 2ohms is 930rms, sub is 800rms, so if say i wanted to upgrade the sub i could go up to 1500 rms/3000 peak, its a big jump so if you ever debate go with more. I oversized wire gauge so if i decide to add more power i wont have to do things twice, but also thats the benefit of having 2 cars I guess. I have had no issues with any product so far. I got the marine amps and they look spectacular.
I've been thinking of getting one of these for my 2013 Corolla S. How do you like it, does it give a noticeable boost in base over the factory audio system?
Yes it does. Your results will vary as yours will be in the trunk of a car where is mine is behind the seat in my truck. It's fairly loud for my truck.
I purchased the bass package with the 2 IX 10D4's. In just 5 months after being hooked up, they both are blown out. And my gain isn't turned up not even half way. That amp is to powerful for those subs. Mines dyno'd at 463 watts! So be careful. IJS.
I set my system up with a dd-1 and have had zero issues with the setup and have had it installed for over 6 months now. Distortion and clipping can kill a system really quick.
Not sure what you mean by mushy but it definitely is better suited for mid and high frequencies. It can get to the lows but at a point it's just moving and not producing any sound.
i got this same rp350.1 on a skar vd10 in a down fire ported box at 1ohm in my silverado 2500 and it sounds great.
Got the exact same thing ordered for my truck
They seem like some good speakers I am definitely going to buy some for my truck
Good for Bass, and value. That's where it ends. The sound quality is awful.
Wondering how 2 of these would hold up to the RP-800.1D at 1 ohm.
IX are decent subs but that would be too much power for them. The RP 350 was specifically made for the IX series.
Nice bro im getting the scar audio SDR 10 inch sub hopefully its good im a huge bass fan but the funny thing is im using it in my house lol
Just accidentally ordered this one lol hopefully it will hot good in my f150

Yes its the decaf version.
You need a ported box the speaker is fighting itself in that enclosed box

From what I can remember about the amp and sub specs 2 ix10s at 1 ohm would be perfect for it
@@87IROCZOwner Thanks man! I figure I will give it a try. Worst case, I could always jump up on the amp size if I need to.
I just ordered 1 today . Let's see how it goes . And how they sound .
How did you like it
@@artm5583 8inch IX series sub only 150 rms. have it wired at 8ohm . On a stereo receiver in a 1cubic ft aero port box in garage sounds great .

Also one more question are those subs musical meaning do they reproduce music better than just pounding bass
