Ive blown like 5 skaar SDRs. I made a recone kit if anybody is interested. I have a video on my 95 Saturn with 4 of them and two d4s amps master and slaved together for reference. I make the voice coil a half inch longer at the Winding and add a extra stiff 3 roll spider and. Mega roll cone. The recone costs me about 90 before I build it. So depending on how many you need or want would determine the final cost for the materials.
Ive used and installed both many times....the CT sounds are more robust in build quality and the box specs are way more favorable for box building. They do ALL seem to like higher tunings like 36-45 hz...the Skar subs need larger boxes but do have a smoother deeper tone to them. Even when you install them in the same box with the same tuning the Skar subs sound smoother whereas the CT subs will hiy harder. I have also went outside CT sounds recommendations on box size and discovered they will perform very well in a box larger than they recommend. For example i put a Strato 8" in .81cf net tuned to 38, 40,45 hertz (adjustable port)...keeping in mind the longer the port is will change to overall net CF of the box, but you get the idea. The CT sounded much smoother and refined in a larger box....two of the stratos under a truck seat with a 11.5-1.8 cf net box tuned to 38 hertz will sound awesome...40 hertz will be slightly louder in that same box. its minor but noticeable for a very critical listener....just some food for thought.

@@zackbalins658 you’ll be happy. I’m running an AT60 on my highs and a Team 3000.1 on 4 meso 8’s. You’ll need batteries before you need another amp 🤙🏻🤙🏻
Parker I got a question if u run 3 12s dvc 4 ohms an have 2.67 if get a tar amps 5 k or 8 k on 2 ohm stable what would the subwoofer get
Yo what’s the name of that song you played at 7:33? Appreciate the vid definitely helps out a lot cause I was gonna get some star subs but the ct sound are a bit better
Musically the CT sounds sounded better
They both sounded like the world's longest fart to me 😆
I’ve never had good luck with skar. Always coke with scratchy coils or don’t last very long. CT sounds have always been better woofers for me personally.
hahaha that victoryscream when it blows
😂🙌
hey bro tht was crazy as hell but funny and thts good tht ct sounds is a budget speakers and amps for folks who can afford thm thnx
Try doing that to some image dynamics subwoofers
what is the name of the song you played at 2:42?
All I got to say is if UA-cam makes me watch 34 seconds of commercials to watch your video your video better be damn good
You gonna get some of those new solo x when they come?
Yessir!
I'm thinking about getting one of those how the hell did they compliments 5000 RMS on a 3.5 inch coil
I hope you will be testing wolfram stuff once they get inventory back in in a couple months :)
I've never owned any CT Sounds subs but my Skar EVLs take a beating. I'm pushing 2 12s on a JP63 at 1ohm and there loving it. Sounds GRRREEEAAATTT
Hey Parker I think there needs to be more reviews on trinity audio
Thank you Parker🫡
Yessir!
Did u ever try Rockville subs?
Haha yeah that is what I started my channel with!
Aye Parker what’s up with the Sundown U review. I know you got one laying around there 😂
both did a great job! skar is rated for 600 watts rms ct sounds is 650 rms
Anyone know the song to 8:25 - 8:29? Thanks
That sweet we need more videos like this ❤❤❤
Can you compare the American bass XFL vs. The soundstream T5
This ct sounds sub resembles the SVR more than the SDR
2:43 name of the song
2:44 what song is that
id like to see that done to a higher end sup for a comparison
Contact me.
I was jus lookin @the tropo-xl-10s so this video jus verifies it!
Wish I seen this video when I was debating between the two. I went with the Scar.
Is there a way you can make a video about subwoofers and their long term review? Such as longevity, how they sound in the beginning vs now, which one is better in terms of quality materials and sound performance?
I have these CT Sounds 12s with a T 1500.1 CT Sounds amp and it hits so hard! CT Sounds 💯
Which brand has cleaner and softer thumping bass? DD Audio, CT Sounds or JL Audio?
Parker 4 the win
Thank you thank you!
That's crazy how long the CT sounds hung in there🤔🏆🔊🔥
