    This is such a good tutorial video! You are so good at explaining ALL of the steps in detail while still keeping it brief and to the point. EVERYTHING on my car is seized SOLID and I have been fighting with wheel bearings and front end suspension/steering for over a WEEK now! What a pain in my a**!!!!! The last thing I want to do is disassemble ANOTHER seized part so I can break something else in the process lmfao After watching this video I'll be stretching the boot on myself instead of paying a garage hours of labour to disassemble everything and replace it. So thank you!! Just gained a subscriber for sure!

    If you have trouble locating a Plastic Cone, like in the video, from your local motor factors/Halfords etc, XXL Butt Plugs from Ann Summers work just as well.

    • @wawayltd
      @wawayltd  2 роки тому +1

      It was pain in a bottom to remove those rivets, using drill, grinder, chissel, hammer and a ton of swearwords - we did it! I think we used 13mm bolts with 8mm thread.

      Yes, it passes MOT, there is no strict rule on that. Although, looking back, I would recommend to use those metal stripes if you can.

    • @wawayltd

      It's hard to say, it all depends how big it is, how much you're driving, how dirty are your roads. Normally, it's not something you stop for and call recovery, but it must not be ignored - just replace it when you can.

      You're right. Going back in time, I would use the metal strip. Although, if something has gone wrong with it, zip tie is not a big crime 😉

    Cable ties aren’t strong enough,

    • @wawayltd
      @wawayltd  2 роки тому

      I never had problem with them. I agree that metal clamps are better, but if you're using cable tie on the narrow side, it's not a big deal.

      I have a lots of non-unique videos on my channel. It's just meant for people who have no experience at all to give them confidence to start DIY-ing. I'm putting out a video about Ford rear brakes today - it's so boring, makes me sick 😁 But there will be plenty of people seeing it as a good guide... Maybe... Or maybe I should review my content..
