Really GE! spent 4 weeks without a washer. Looking forward to cleaning clothes and still can't because the drain hose won't reach!! This needs to be in the reviews!!
How long can you go for an extension? I need to move the washer to the opposite side of the room so the drain would have to run about 15 feet but I could initially incline it for first 6 feet and make it decline the rest of the way. Would that work or would it just back flow back into the washer? Thank you!
I was ready to buy a profile washer and dryer today. I'm apparently not going to be able to do it because the drain hose is about 12 inches too short. This message thread has been running for years with the same complaint. I don't even see a part number for this mythical extension anywhere. Am I missing something? Can I buy a longer hose or the extension anywhere?

@@Vamo_Alla yes it can be used on any hose that fits the adapter ;) they just wont tell you that.. but your basically just exteneding a hose so any hose extenter that gits your hose will work....
It'd help if you'd include a drain hose longer than 4'.

I have GUD24ESSMWW laundry center but the hose does not have a "center smooth portion" so where should I cut?
