Doctor Who is a British science fiction television series broadcast by the BBC since 1963. The series, created by Sydney Newman, C. E. Webber and Donald Wilson, depicts the adventures of an extraterrestrial being called the Doctor, part of a humanoid species called Time Lords. The Doctor travels in the universe and in time using a time travelling spaceship called the TARDIS, which externally appears as a British police box. While travelling, the Doctor works to save lives and liberate oppressed peoples by combating foes. The Doctor often travels with companions.

Depending on how they reproduce there could be enough generic variance between progenitor and offspring to negate that. They do look a bit like slugs so maybe they work similar to that.

Hey man, we don’t do that here. There are plenty of other things Alabama could be known for. Outside of our biggest cities, you would not believe how far people are willing to go to help out someone in need here. The sweet tea is good and Jack’s or Milo’s makes the best cheeseburgers. We’ll beat you in college football then celebrate the win with you. And Jesus dwells within as many people or more in this state than any other. There’s a reason we’re the Heart of Dixie.

The best Doctor who episodes are the ones that have me completely f****** confused until the last second, or the ones where he walks in and starts laying down his credentials to the sounds of everyone crapping their pants.

I think it's more he embraced it and directed it to the block, forcing its efforts there instead of souping him, and once it found out the true reason he was there, it wasn't going to soup him anymore
Both he's a time lord strange and powerful psychological along with 950 years of experience on top of that he probably know who was coming to save him
