I just recently bought a 2021 TB1000S Pan Back (black) guitar. Guitar came in a nice case, I did a few videos i posted on here of it. I was lucky and found a guitar that had been built for someone and had been too heavy fo them, so i got lucky spotting this one. Theres a few on reverb, including a nice red one. Im blown away, this is the sound id been chasing for years. Id been wanting a mix of Knopfler and Garcia and boy do i have it. #1 rule with this guitar, let the guitar get use to the room temp for at least 20mins or the outdoor stage temp for the same 20mins. Once you do this, there is much less to worry about with any tuning or intonation. Once tuned the guitar stays in tune very very well. I mean after i unboxed it, ive tuned it 4 times ? And i got the guitar last week. For the way i bend notes and play guitar thats insane (has schaller tuners) and when it was out of tune it wasnt even enough to hear it and in a band setup this stayed intune better than all my other guitars. But i can see people having tuning issues if they bring it from say 20 degrees outdoors into a 70 degree room and you dont let it aclimate to the room for 20mins. Yes you will indeed have issues with tuning. But you will also have those issues but much worse with a Floyd Rose, actually pretty much any trem guitar. The guitars FB is so well done, im finding myself doing things that i didnt know i could do, its so fun to play and the pickups are very very unique. If you buy one of these, your guitar tone will be unique and stand out a bit. The extra shimmer of highs and tic tacky goodness. I cant really explain it right. Its something everyone should try thru the amp of their choice. Im getting use to a few things with it, but all in all its the best guitar ive owned. Hands down. And i own a lot of nice guitars (not trying to brag), my point is def if you can try one which i know is hard with how rare these are, you will experience a sound that 99.9% of other guitars cant do. I have a friend who is going to be buying an aluminum neck for his Jazz Master, so until he starts that project i wont be able to speak of those. But ECG and Bean build one mean guitar and they are very kind people and unlike bigger companies they do get back to you as soon as they can. They are very very knowledgable people and seem to just want you to be happy with their product. This is rare these days. THank you kind folks a ECG and Travis Bean, you have made this Dead Head and Strait Head very very happy. Greatly appreciate the wonderful guitar.
I'm ready for an alluminum neck. Tires of constantly chasing my neck with the temperature and humidity. One day it sounds great the next day my guitar sounds like shit
Finally, some REAL fucking guitars at NAMM

Love my TB-Bass NR.114 found it 1989 in a Guitar Store in LA for 300 USD .... Heavy as shit but a great tone and feel .... great interview - Thanks
Ordered an EGC recently. Couldn’t be more excited!
if they had one in the shape of a Jagstang I’d buy it in a heartbeat
Jason Armstrong is that a special neck size or is it like a jaguar?
Jazzblasterrr like a Jaguar
Check out Ken Andrews signature Jazzmaster. It’s cool as shit.
Me and Kevin have the same last name. I'm a drummer and love playing non-wood drums. Maybe some weird strand of DNA stretched across the country?
