The sword is also a great symbolism for Noelle's mana control coming a long way, from a destructive looking lance to a very beautiful and detailed sword. It really shows how much she has changed.
It explains how Nozel knew about his mother's curse. I always found it strange that he knew without the curse affecting him

Tabata actually didn't make any mistakes when it came to Acier, it's on us and I think it's an osmosis of information. Tabata never told us Acier's curse killed her while she was giving birth. The 2 pieces of information we received were that Acier died during childbirth (this was the lie told by Nozel) and that she died due to a curse (truth told by Dorothy) she never said she was pregnant.

That 1 minute time limit also makes sense, since Noelle wouldn't have had time to train much time with Spirit Dive. I love it so much

@@hazleygod even anti-magic has its disadvantages. Say someone uses reinforcement magic and normal weaponry. It's already been stated that asta's enhanced physical abilities are reliant on his training and sending anti-magic throughout his body. What happens when a mage who uses a basic sword and has god like reinforcement magic takes the fight to asta. This happened when asta was fighting that dancer guy at the sea temple. He wasnt necessarily losing but he was definitely struggling cause he was using actual swords

We were assuming Acier got cursed while she was pregnant with Noelle which wasn't the case the scene with Mereoleona was an anime only thing she was probably worried that Acier was having these kids but was continuing to be a mage.
But my question was why was she hiding out in the first place there is stuff about the Silva family that we don't know so yeah the chapter was great man.
Being one of the strongest mages, I'm pretty sure she's got a price on her head from enemies of the Clover Kingdom, or criminals within the kingdom, and her being either pregnant or just giving birth, makes her an easy target.

This chapter was amazing, but where was Noelle Father during the attack on his wife Acier and his family. We know he's alive, Tabata has something huge planned for him.

Exactly what I was thinking. If you watched a Black Clover video by Broku you’ll know that he has theorized that Noelle is actually a Demi goddess. I personally think she’s a descendant of the sea deity via her mother. We know very little about the Silva family other than they are descendants of the wizard king. Furthermore Noelle mentioned her grandparents telling her stories about the elves. Plus there’s a genetic component with recessive genes. It could be possible Acier and Noelle inherited a gene tied to unlocking godlike powers without the usage of an elemental spirit via a divine ancestor.

Exactly Nozel even said the lie told was that she died in childbirth. It's more clarified now that Acier probably just had Noelle when Vanica showed up.

During the pregnancy scene, Mereoleona only asked Acier if she could continue being a magic night after giving birth for the fourth time. My guess was that Mereoleona was wondering how you could be both a mage and a mother and asked Acier this question. A curse was never mentioned.
