Hello, I wanted to let you know that you have a great video. I specialize on the DSC Neo since I just got done installing one on my house and detached garage. My setup is partial wireless since DSC NEO has wonderful wireless feature I have a total of Three Partitions so I have the Detached Garage and the House and Driveway Alert. Mine is Central Station Monitored as yours is not. You can get a wireless fob for this system so you can disarm the system before going into the garage you can also use a wireless keypad that you can have an alpha keypad as the one in the garage its self in the house. You can program this system to auto arm and also let you know if a door was left open the DSC Brand has so much to offer enjoyed the video.
It seems that security systems in Canada are very much the same as our Security alarm systems over here in the United Kingdom, the most common one being a Honeywell Galaxy. I was considering putting a small system in my very little shed (Just a bit bigger than your other shed you built) as a demo system and or intrusion protection. Something I did recently was add a dialer to my Honeywell Gent Vigilon fire system, which dials into my central monitoring demo system I have setup. Looking forward to more shenanigens from yourself. And a question for yourself: What brand/type of cable are you using for your intrustion system? I can't figure out what it's called or where the best place would be to get it.

hI Nic I wanted to ask you your opinion please my former consultant a former firefigther has of course state and you did say that ions are falling out of favor based on that I guess you can best that he has recommeded that the best alarm for home is a photo heat combo but I guess if that were hard to find it would of course seem that the best alternative option it would seem to protect against both smoldering and flaming fires is it seem to put a heat alarm next to each photo electric alarm do you agree ???? thoughts please thank you ( theory I think he is going with is that if an alarm fails hopefully the conditon will be picked up by the other alarm thoughts please thank you)
@@Fredengle AFAIK all the professional smoke detectors Nic shows off also have heat detection. I don't know if regular self-contained residential ones do or not.
Where is blue strobe light for security alarm? Or what is color strobe light for security alarm? Please install strobe light for security alarm only…remind old fire alarm (paint red on strobe light for emergency generator). I like it. Please 🥺🙏🏻👉🏻💡
I got a customer call me they have an old ADT alarm system alarm keep going off because the phone line been cut when they remodel house luckily ADT service is not active oid GE keypad we replace Honeywell keypad

My situation was quite unusual so I don't know how to explain it as is quite rare.
I wonder the same thing about your work and school balance, how it came about and how you kept it going. It would be an interesting video.

AFAIK almost all smoke detectors also have built-in heat detectors. I could be mistaken though.
