I met the one for me; we dated and hung out a lot. I raised the idea of marriage and met BIG pushback so I said, "that's OK, If we're as happy as we are now in 20 years then that's fine with me" and nothing more was said of marriage. Then she went on a walking/drinking trip with her girlfriends to Estes National Park for a week - when she came back she said "May would be nice." "Nice for what?" I asked. "To get married" was the reply. It will be our 24th anniversary in May 23.

The thing that struck me: she's relaxed. So many non-drummers play with tight shoulders, hunched over, pinched expressions on their faces - you can totally tell they're struggling. Not so here, she's in the groove.
