Got one of these as my Courtesy bike, Here's my little review... Pro's : Looks fantastic Handles like a dream Pretty skinny so it's great for filtering Acceleration is pretty damn quick! Sits at 65mph easily Very quiet (if you see that as a pro) Very forgiving bike! (Perfect for new riders!) Con's : Seat isn't very comfortable Tires are very skinny! Overall rating 9/10 - Only downside is the seat in my opinion, Could be better! Fantastic bike for any learner out there and considering it's only a 125cc bike it's still a bit of a hooligan bike that begs you to throw it around corners and ride it like you stole it! Very good at handling and you can pretty much turn around in the same spot! With this bike you'll take off allot quicker at lights than cars!
I've owned this bike for 8 months same color as the video and agree with everything you say. Got a full black widow exhaust system being installed on Friday to fix how quiet it is :D
Got mine a week ago, white one looks so beautiful,it is my first bike ever, first time I ride a bike on my CBT test, this was the second time when I got mine white cb125f.Done 109 miles now, spend some hours on the big car part late evening, practicing U-turns,small 8,very slow riding, straight and circle.Very happy with this bike, very easy to maneuver, great on fuel, fast enough for new rider's.Don't know top speed yet,,I been told to do about 400 miles on low rpm,I am not going over 5k rpm, changing gears at 3.5-4k, red line at 9 and 10 k. By the way I am 191cm tall, longest ride was 2 hours non stop, felt very comfortable and not tired.I recommend this bike, worth the money. P.S sorry for bad English....UPDATE: 1300 miles on the clock, bike is great!Last week went to London,270 miles from my home to the destination.Took me 6.5 hours without stoping, very comfortable bike, last two hours start hurt my butt.Used full tank of fuel. First service (600 miles) cost me 100£ in Honda dealership.9k red line 65mph.
I bloody love mine!! Yeah it may not have much power but it's so easy to ride and huge fun!! Even with the throttle pinned I still managed 112mpg! Will sit at 60mph all day long which is more than adequate.
I got one of these recently. Easy as pie to ride and cheap to run. £2499 to buy which works out around 73 quid a month with Honda's finance deal. It'll only do 60-61 mph, I've had 65 out of it downhill but don't expect anything startling speedwise.
If you wanna spend the rest of your life as a veggie, go ahead without a helmet. You may be a great rider but you can never rely on other drivers. Why risk?
Not poser bikes? Some people can't afford a bigger bike or have no need, or like me aren't allowed. I'm 16 right now and riding a small moped but looking to get a 125 when i turn 17. Doesn't mean im a poser, legally i'm not allowed anything bigger for now.
@@jamesbondie4645 That because the CB125F is no better than a Chinese bike. Very poor quality materials, very poor build quality, suffer terribly from rust.
Mohi Ahmed Hi Mohi, thanks for the feedback; we always appreciate it. We'd love to give more information on how much it (and all the other bikes and cars we review) costs, but unfortunately, this changes so quickly and often that the review would be out of date within months!
I am 5".5 inches tall , so was wondering if I can touch the floor with my foot rather than tip-toe when at lights or when sat stationary . Just got my CBT ......

I know a 125 can get away with a rear drum but, for the price point I would expect discs front & rear. I only expect drum brakes on the real budget Chinese bikes these days, even the better Chinese bikes have a rear disc. I see Honda is using the same Chinese type rear sprockets as well. In fact, I think the bike is built in China.
you are right !!!!!!!!! ................. history continue, the new Japan is already China, but not all the people realise. In some years they will make tanks and war tools in the same factory, which we have paid............
It's made in China by Wuyang Honda. The feedback for the quality is good except for the price 10k RMB(1300 Euros). Normally 10k RMB can buy a 150cc bike nowadays.
I have one as a courtesy bike at the moment and to be honest its bloody horrible. Probably because my bike is a cruiser but its very uncomfortable and being sat quite high up compared to what I'm used to is very odd and the feet positioning is crap as well as the kick stand as the foot peg is in the way.

such a stupidity. yeah why not learn how a normal bike is. and why do you need one on an ordinary bike? always good to have just in case. for example you drive in winter or when it's freezing the is condese water in the throttle cable. it starts to freeze now your throttle is stuck. so why do you need it on a 125. I think it's even more important for learner's
well still. I think when normal bikes do have it it's essential for learners they learn how to operate an ordinary bike. and everywhere else this bike has an engine cut off switch so it makes replacement mor expensive
This comment is relatively unrelated to the video: I'm 16 and intend to get a super-sports in 3-4 months when i turn 17. At the moment my eye is on the YZF-R125. But I'd especially like an R6 or R3... Anyone know the legal repercussions of riding an R3 with L Plates (I have a CBT) and registering it/insurance/taxing it as an R125? PS. I know you can't ride an R3 with just a CBT at any age and that i'd need to be 19 with an A2 Licence, the L plates are just to add to the illusion that its a R125. PPS. Do the r125 fairings fit an R3? Like... to make it look like an R125?
At the risk of sounding like a nagging mother, that is really irresponsible, illegal and fraudulent. Your insurance would be invalid, bike registered illegally and a host of other problems. Just wait until you are old enough, the YZF-R125 is a great bike and you'll have fun on it and learn a lot before you are old enough to move up.
I thought the idea of the kill switch was that the engine must be able to be started and stopped without taking hands off the grips Must be a jurisdictional thing
The quality of these bikes is no better than the quality of most Chinese bikes. It is nothing like the build quality of the 90's machines. I would really urge you not to bother with one of these bikes. The rear swingarm is made of the thinnest, cheapest steel they could find, I have just had to replace one on a 2015 bike as the shock mount had snapped off due to rust. The bike doesn't have many miles on it and is stored in a garage.
I’ve owned both the cbf125 and cb125f. From what I know, older model is made in India, the newer in China. Both suffer hugely from rust. I’m replacing as the miles tick by just to make sure that the bike does not simply disintegrate from under me!
Bought this bike on the 20/09/2018, and have done only 800 miles on it, , BUT and its a HUGE but, its rusty, both sets of rear shocks thick with rust, front suspension rusting, 4 large spots of rust on the handle bars, rear break peddle so rust looks like its made of wood, chrome plate that covers the exhaust has spots of rust aswell, first time ive ever bought a brand new bike, and am shocked at the state of it....would never buy another honda, if they rust so quickly
keith taylor this model is built in Thailand or China I think. Unfortunately Honda have gone down the path of using their reputation to dupe people into thinking that the same build quality is applied to all their products. The cb125f is cheap for a reason. I would go as far as saying that you should avoid buying a new one and go for a second hand cbf125. Still not built in Japan but have a much longer history and plenty of cheap parts available for when the rust just gets too bad.
