Here's how to install the new Acelith F1 models on the new Logitech G923 models (both for Xbox and PS).
Obviously the tutorial is also valid for those who own a G920. The difference between the models is very small.

I guess wiper will be the most useful button in F1
Doesn't have to be used for just F1, could be LMP or GT3 cars, which have similar shaped steering wheels.

This is gotta be the neatest mod I’ve seen for this wheel. Looks so good like it’s factory made.
Another cool thing is the Sim Dashboard app. I mounted a phone holder to a gopro mount and stuck it to the top of the G920 behind the wheel.
I bought the wheel and i must say the building process isn´t that easy for someone who doesn´t work often with a screwdriver. You can feel that Logitech didn´t build the steering wheel to be opened up again by the customer. It´s a fiddly work and you need to be especially careful, when you get to the mainboard and the mainplug. After disconnecting everything the reassembly is finnicky to. Make sure you rearrange all the parts tightly into their place or you get the bill later when you see the gap dimensions. The most important part is the right arrangement of the spacer, for my part it was a bit different than the video tutorial (i own a G29), so make sure you check-out the instructions on the acelith page! All my criticism isn't guided to acelith, they did a good job in explaining this diffcult replacement and the wheel quality from them is very good. Netherless be aware that it isn`t that easy if this is your first time and you will need a couple of hours to fit the new wheel!

Before anyone buys this, take it from me that just got the wheel, me who wanted a more f1 feeling with my g29, this is such a good mod. Is so worth its values. You will need some very small screwdriver but at the end of the day it looks so good, feels so good, and I feel so much faster. 10/10. (I even forgot to screw on some big screws on the circuit board but I’m fine). U will need atleast 30 or 40 mins of your time to change the wheel but it’s just amazing. (Nice packaging aswell)
Hey i know I’m late but i want to buy a better wheel for simracing and something with more an f1 feeling, I guess my question is what is the quality of the g29 ? Is it good because I only want to buy a wheel for f1 but my budget is not that big thank you
Order it on Sunday and got it on Thursday morning with the fastest available shipping method. Can’t say I like it, because I LOVE IT!! The grip, size and aesthetics are spot on. I’m nowhere near an handyman for this sort of work, but this 2min video sufficed to change the wheel and all works like a charm on my ps4. Congrats 💪💪

@@joshhealey1910 Can't say because I haven't done it yet. I do believe it will be a bit harder to swap over because of all the screws and buttons you have to put back (which you won't need with this mod). An obvious tip following what I said, don't discard anything.

what ever the things behind for switching gear are called, do they move with the wheel or do the stay in the same position

After I saw this video, i went on and bought the wheel. Had some problems with availability, but after a few days, i managed to get one! Shipping was really fast, i believe 3/4 workdays.
Quality of the wheel is just amazing! Looks like the original wheel. The stickers are also very handy, multiple colors to choose from etc...

Nice! How did you do the PS3-PS4 button switch part? Did you leave it in the middle or did you keep it on the PS4 switch at all times?

I did that that to my G29 wheel and it worked perfectly , this was so easy .
How do the handles feel?
Recently received mine. Very happy with how fast it got to me in Australia too. Absolutely awesome product, great website, easy to follow installation instructions in this video, and the big plus is the cramps I would get in my hands with the stock wheel, have virtually disappeared. A 5 star experience all round. Thank you.

Is the wheel rigid, does it bend?
@@hutch4640 the wheel is quite rigid and well made. It's can handle the rigours of racing well and standard use. Not recommended if you are prone to game rage and striking the wheel.
This mod is so amazing, it managed to turn the Xbox wheel shown in the thumbnail and in the first shot into a PlayStation one!

Mini Review i guess:
I received mine and installed it on my g920.
It feels great and it was easy enough to install BUT getting the cable unplugged is NOT that easy like in the video 😂 I was struggling and had to use a prying tool because the cable is short and you can break the smaller connections if you aren't careful. (Also big hands and fingers)
The wheel looks good and the buttons that come with it are also great. You will fiddle with them a bit until they all "stick" i guess but it was okay :P
Something that actually gave me a mild headache were the last screws when you tighten the new wheel, they have to "bite" and getting them to was lots of "wiggling" and tightening opposite sites so they would actually "bite" and not just twist endlessly. I was cheering for every screw that went in 😂
For the money you get a great looking and feeling wheel, can only recommend. Getting the magnetic shifter mod is also a good idea, you can adjust the travel of the shift paddles and they get so nice and clicky, my wife hates it ! (And i love it 🤣)

One thing I would note is that the allen key you need for screwing the new plate on has to be very small! I need to go out today to get one.
A few questions is a spacer included and does it have a nice feel and force feedback.
@@danieldillane4812 the spacer is included and i think the fore feedback is the same as with the stock wheel since its the base doing the job not the actual wheel :D

it restocks every few days, you should enable notifications for when it is back in stock. I did the same and it really helps

This video really solved my question, i didn t want to have only the f1 wheel or have to disassemble the whole thing whenever i want to play with a regular wheel, so with this i can just get a cheap wheel and just have to unscrew the bolts to switch between f1 and rally/ drift style wheel
Or you can install a quick release adapter. Thats what im doing:)

You can get a Thrustmaster T300rs or tsxw (only comes with wheelbase), but both have quick release mechanisms. you’ll have to find wheels compatible with the tm eco system
Well, I just received my Acelith GT3 wheel for my Logitech G923 only to find out I ordered the wrong one. My G923 is an Xbox/PC unit. The wheel I got is for a Play Station/PC unit. It goes on there but it certainly doesn't look good cuz the PS version has more cut outs for buttons that the Xbox G923 does not have. So now I have to wait for it again to go back to Italy and hopefully get the correct wheel this time.

Geht eher darum dass das Kabel in der dafür vorgesehenen Aussparung (zwischen den Fassungen für die Schrauben) landen soll. Sonst könnte es von Teilen unterhalb der Abdeckung gequetscht werden.

Mine just arrived today and I haven't fitted it yet, but the quality is just pristine! Lasercut metal, carbon finish and overall a realprofessional look. The little businesscard is a nice touch. :) Only thing I'll be adding is tennis grip tape. Dont want this to break my thumbs when I get sweaty hands and the force feedback slaughters me. :D

You could use the same design over for something like Assetto Corsa, where you can drive GT cars, which have wipers.
what is meant by saying make sure to place the ps3 ps4 switch correctly ? 1:15
Imthink it means make sure if ur on ps4 make sure the switch is near ps4 same with ps3 i dont exactly know those are just my guesses

and it will take about 10-15 minutes to swap it over or if you are quick then only 5 minutes
Once you have done that once, the next time u want to put another wheel on, all you have to do is unscrew the big 6 screws and it will just come off then u just simply put your new wheel on and screw back in the 6 big screws
Are u sure about that? What happens with the 4 Buttons that u changed? Have u change the Buttons too, if u change the Wheel to the original? I want to buy this mod to play F1 but I also play Eurotruck Simulator. Because of that I have to change the Wheels.
If you do this can you put the stock wheel back by just screwing the screws or you have to disassemble it again?

its a great addition to the existing G920 I had... especially getting into F1, it came with one little issue where they quick to send me a spare piece, so far, the item feels premium for the price and the customer service seems to care for the customers so I would really recommend purchasing this. Unlike anything out there... the grip feels premium too with more upgrade options available. Would definitely recommend the purchase.

Before they were just plastic 3D printed, rough looking, and poor to use when hands are sweaty.

is there a way to use this with a quick release system so I can have my standard wheel easy attached as well? since I play ETS2 and I do Sim Racing
Yes, once the f1 wheel process is done, all you need to do is undo the main 6 front bolts, take of the f1 rim and put the stock rim on and bolt on the 6 bolts again. It's not exactly fanatec quick release but it does the job

would it be possible to also replace the actual paddles behind the wheel too. most of them are extensions on the paddle and would be too long.

I didn't even know I could mod a G29... now if only I could get it to work on F1 2021 properly.
@@tryhard4ever421 Ghub refuses to acknowledge that my G29 is hooked up. It says it's there but I can't change any settings on it. It's because of the wheel's rotation setting that F1 2021 is near unplayable with it. Cars constantly understeer. The wheel is set to a 900 degree rotation. F1 2021 doesn't have a setting in-game that lets me change the wheel's maximum rotation. I need it to be 360 degrees.
@@Deadsphere i have the solution for you. set the steering saturation to 60 on the f1 game. this should solve the issue
