She has billions of streams on Spotify with no album and has fans calling out for an album daily and it's like crickets in labels ears. People are even willing to wait annually (for a new artist) and still nothing. All this and she had one performance for all her singles and pretty much had all of the releases sabotaged in some way, either by removing them on streaming sites, not releasing the video or just blocking performances. You look at other artists and they sell much less and it's like 'here's your new star' and I'm like wait huh. The ROI is a great answer though and I don't think the label makes much when she releases or they would have paid for that Wild Side video so I'm guessing she's not in a 360. Normani was not expected to be big and I think after trying multiple ways to sabotage her and it not work, the only solution is to hold her from releasing at all (cause she's affecting them making money off these other artists). I’m the complete opposite. Sometimes im like “I guess i just gotta forget about Normani and listen to other artists 😞” But no other artist has been able to fill her void for me. I think her tone is super smooth/versatile. I love her cadence too and some of her songs are so unique (Wild Side, Candy Paint (leaked demo)). Idk how to explain it but they just sound so fresh compared to what we have out right now. What makes her super unique is her dancing/performances. None of the newer artist in the U.S can dance like her. Her music videos are top tier too. The choreography is insane. I respect your opinion. But I just wanted to give you another perspective. I think some of the stuff i mentioned (especially the dancing) are a reason why so many people have not given up on her yet.
