@@jayjohnson38 working on it. I just added those iPhone models. Anything older then iPhone 6 is dead. The i5 series is too old. The iPhone 11 series is too new. Check back in a week or 2. I should have the i8, iX up by then with my i6, i6S, i7 that is there now. Once again there is more to a business then just knowing how to repair phones. That's only half of a business. The other half is getting paying customers. Ifixit sells parts and makes videos.
@@jayjohnson38 Does iFixit talk or show about refurbishing? They dont. I talk and show that. Does ifixit it have any videos on glass only refurbishing on Samsung phones. They dont. Yes they make money, by being in a different part of the business. They are in the business of selling parts and tools.

Starting up this business, is it best too start with screen and battery replacements? I was planning on getting some iphone screens on Friday (payday) and then ordering batteries if need be..

Best to make sure you have at least one of each iPhone replacement screen on hand at all times! If you you have the funds you should have both white and black for each model and batteries!
How many times was the word screw mentioned. I only remember heavy screws, random screws and big screw. I never learned how to replace the charging port..
The way you replace the charging port is by removing around 25 screws during the process. I show in order how to remove all these screws, take out the charging port and replace it, put all screws back in order. The video is straight forward. Just watch the video again. You need 3 different screwdriver tips to do this repair.

Depends which Mic. The one at the bottom of phone Yes. But there are different mics around the phone.

I accidentally splashed water on my pro and now it’s saying water in the Damn port. Wtf do I do I bought it literally 3 weeks ago ? Wtf
Let it dry out or blow in the port with a hair dryer. Then power it off and power it back on.
For those big screws.. Instead of a flat head, use a pentalobe, it works perfectly & is easier.. Nice video -MTTRACKS
You need a special stand-off screwdriver. It’s like a flat phillips with a spike in the center.

minutes. What should I do?
Plug the old one back in. Not take it entirely out, just take the connection of the old one and plug it in. If the phone works back to normal, it's the part you bought is bad or of low quality. Always buy the premium quality with charge ports or any small parts.
@@RichardMeza : Where do I go to buy "premium quality"? I'm pretty sure Apple doesn't sell parts to their iPhones. I've been looking on ebay, and question the quality.
