My husband used to work at both Best Buy and Blockbuster back in the day so we have an unacceptable amount of the promotional cardboard standies for multiple games. My most prized being the 2013 Tomb Raider game. As a long time fan, I had to have it! 😅
The junko bunny was one of my most anticipated figures of 2023 and she did not disappoint! Really hope freeing will do at least one more Danganronpa girl as there is so many characters that would do well with the bunny treatment (or even a nendoroid at this rate) though I doubt it because they may consider the set of “main Danganronpa girls” complete as companies typically only do the 4 with Mikan’s pup being an exception. Oh cool the desk is electric, that’s pretty useful, I haven’t seen one of these before. I like that black one, and it’s only $129, I needed a desk for making videos and I payed like €90 for a simple gaming desk, 30 more and I’d have an electric one.
For the judai figure, PLEASE PUT A STAND BENEATH HIS FLOATING FEET. This is a rerelease figure, and as history already shown, it 100% would lean if you do not rest that leg up on a supporting stand. The Metal peg does not help it at all.
I collect persona figures and that Kasumi figure is the best one of her. Even better than the figures of her in the phantom thief costume. It’s a very unassuming figure but very well done.
Yeah, I took Rightstuf going away as an excuse to buy all 3 of the Heaven's Feel movies. So I'm going to rewatch UBW and Zero before I finally watch them. I didn't have an easy place to stream it, and I figured by the time I get around to it, it wouldn't be easy to watch. I don't have a lot of male figures. Tanjiro and Kenshin prizes, and a hunter in Lagi armor. The big one is going to be finally getting Yuri Lowell. They just don't have the aesthetics I'm looking for most of the time. Kind of tempted to pick up any Ryza even if I haven't played it yet. But because of that I'd wait until one of them straight up bins. Although I'd prefer a Sophie, truth be told.
When it comes to male figures its 100% just an appreciation for the series or character. They might not fit in with the rest of the collection but that's alright. I just like collecting for series I really enjoy

I don’t have any Amakuni figures yet, I have their Aqua Bombergirl coming next month, they did an amazing job on that figure, it’s the first figure I’ve ever bought that I don’t know the character, I was just blown away by that figure. And they did a great job on these 2 too, they look great.

That Ryza figure doesn't feel like Ryza as much to me as her other scales, but it's still nice. I'm afraid to buy one since I know I'll buy more. Still need to play 2 and 3 in the series though.
So many of Ryza's figures have the same expression that I can't help but like the change up here, but I have not played any of the games so I really can't speak on the subject much lol
I got a real bad habit of taking too long when it comes to unboxing figures lol. There's a few from last year I still have yet to do, but I still plan to, like May from Guilty Gear for example. Once I get Bridget I'm gonna just do a Guilty Gear video highlighting those two plus some others in my collection

Dead Dead Demon certainly wont be for everyone. I think Oyasumi Punpun is the better read if we're talking Inio Asano Manga, but at the very least I think it's worth a shot

Great you got a standee! I was one of the only people in my area (Phoenix) that used to get promotional standees from GameStops for free years ago. I got DS and GBA Pokémon ones, a huge one for Spectrobes and my favorite one of Dragon Quest IX Sentinels of the Starry Skies. I use that one as a closet door. They’re great prices of art. Eventually others caught on to GameStop giving them away and I didn’t feel like competing. Fun days. Great video - thanks!
I'm jealous lol. I love stuff like Standees, but it's far too hard to really collect them these days. The only other one I have is for Mario vs Donkey Kong on the GBA, which I'm happy about since that game was my childhood. Lucky find at a con for like 40 dollars since I don't think anybody cared about that game
25:58 1/4 scale bunnies always look pretty impressive, but with a figure that’s sitting or laying down they should never be keyed into the base, they don’t need to key in, they’re not going to fall over. I’m hoping to god that the Priestess & Sword Maiden by Hakoiri Musume that I’ve preordered aren’t keyed into their base, because their bases are bad, I hope they’re just sitting on it.
@@ZuccoFigures It should be very easy to make a figure sit flat, I think when you have a figure that’s laying down, kneeling or sitting you should always have the option to display it without a base. I bought the entire To Love-Ru Darkness line by Union Creative and they’re all sitting/kneeling/laying and none have a base and sit nicely. I think they should also say if the figure can be displayed without the base in the description, because I need an Evileye figure, there’s only 2, one by Kotobukiya and the cheapest I can find it is over $300, but there’s one from Phat Company where’s she’s laying down, but it has a really big round base, I like the figure but the base is too big. But if I could display her without the base I’d get it, but I don’t know if I can do that, there’s probably a big key in her butt.
That Edea is making me regret not getting Ringabel. Love that man. The YuGiOh figure have me waiting for the 5Ds one as I need an Akiza one. That Xenoblade 3DS display is something I've wanted for ages and you got it for a steal if it was only $180 since double is usually the standard for that. I would love to get my own one day! I do wonder if any of these Bravely Default figures are hard to come by now. I never looked into that. One day I need to check out 5Ds but I stopped after GX back in the day, and yeah $180 was solid as hell. Very happy about that price

I think I got a pretty decent track record with male figures all things considered lol. No one's really thinking about the Fromsoftware characters but they gotta count too. My partner picked up Myethos's Aki from Chainsaw Man but it just got delayed again. I'll highlight him for sure on the channel but who knows exactly when that'll be
W. I also got Dread's Samus. I have 9 other figmas and this one is for sure the best in both looks and feels. This kind of robotic suit just works so good with joints
Metroid Prime's Samus figma looks really nice but I feel like Dread's just outclasses it. Funny enough I think I also have 10 Figma, though I may be adding to that soon with Pit/Dark Pit. I'd have more if the prices were better lol I like em quite a bit

My first figma is the fluted armor from Demon's Souls, so I have absolutely no idea how to correctly pose him, but it looks like you got some good dynamic posing with Samus!
I really should by the fluted armor figma. Just been spending too much lately lol. I wouldn't be surprised if his articulation was more limited due to the design, but the amount of weapons you get with him makes up for it imo
@@ZuccoFigures Yeah, I can understand. I spent just a bit more than I was budgeting. The box for Samus looks similar to the fluted armor in terms of how nice and high quality it feels. I don't know why, but when I PO'd mine, they threw in two iron knuckles (the box already comes with one) so I now have three knuckles. I don't imagine it being a coveted item, so you probably won't have issues with getting it similar pricing later on down the years when your budget is better.
@@DeleteTTM Fromsoft figures tend to go up in price, but I guess the Figma have been an exception lately(Hunter and Maria are easy to find still). Maybe the diehard collectors care more about statues, not sure
@@ZuccoFigures My guess is that they prefer not to see the joints in the figmas, or having to pose them. I do like the fluted armor since it hides the joints very well. Just don't look too closely at his behind when you have him laying down in his iconic pose.
I have both jaden and chazz... Jaden has been leaning somewhat ever since I got him. I tried to use a piece of small double-sided clear to hold jaden from leaning too much 😢
I've been meaning to check out Dead Dead Demons since I've already read both Goodnight Punpun and Solanin and enjoyed them. There's a really cool looking figure for Dead Dead Demons which is quite rare but for your sake, I hope they do a re-release when the anime comes out.
You'll def enjoy Dead Dead Demon's if you're a fan of his other work, and don't worry I have that figure lol. Thankfully I was a fan back when it was put up for preorder. It's stored away for now but I should probably find it and highlight it on the channel one of these days.

I wrote a big ass comment and YTB deleted it so I'm not going to type it all again. Basically, I ordered a bunch of figures too now since I have the income. Some of which were in this video. The Phat Kasumi, and the FREEing Junko. I also got the Zero Two by GSC, the Murasaki Shikibu by alter, Radio Eva Rei by Hobby Max and the Kaede by Phat as well. Yeah, Kasumi was very cheap. She was like 11k yen after shipping. Kaede wasn't that expensive either. I don't buy bunnies very often at all, but I buy almost every Danganronpa figure. Junko also doesn't get that many scales either. Its one of the few popup parade figures I own, since it looks pretty good and I think the pink base works well for her.
You might see Kaede on this channel next time. I hear the assembly is a little tedious due to all those musical sheets so I'm not looking forward to that lol

Ha KenKen's work is far more impressive than mine, but I'm always trying to improve and I appreciate you noticing. Lighting is such a tricky thing to work around and I still struggle with it, but I think I like this setup for now. All those RGB lights certainly too lol

Absolutely, though I'm unsure when due to how many games are in the series. If Trails in the Sky was on the switch I'd probably have started by now since portable jrpgs is my jam
@@ZuccoFigures There is a chance that they may be working on bringing Sky to the switch going by their financial reports, but we will have to wait and see. I would say if you are able to game on PC or have a Steam deck, Steam with its sale right now would be a great time to jump in as all the games are available on that platform. But Crossbell Arc is a perfectly fine place to start and is available on switch. I recommend not thinking I have to play all 10 English releases at once, but more of focusing on each particular arc of the story. So you can do either Sky arc, Crossbell Arc or Cold Steel 1&2. Many of the first entries into each arc is a very chill experience that is perfect for on the go gaming. If you got any Qs let me know I'll be happy to help.
@@JSenhChu Steamdeck is on the evergrowing list of tech to one day get. I can play games on PC but I just find the JRPG experience a bit comfier when I can jump in and out on a handheld so I end up playing for longer sessions. That being said, I'm planning to replay XB1 on emulator(improved visuals and whatnot) so we'll see how that goes first
I had to pick it up off of Mercari JP since its been out of print for awhile. Part of the Village Vanguard Inio Asano 2020 collection line I believe. It's a pain to find these shirts for decent prices but eventually they pop up. Keep in mind they only make M and L size for whatever reason, but yeah I love this shirt. Hope you can hunt one down
I'm glad there's more people who noticed how insanely tight Jaden and Chazz's shirts and pants were. It was actually a running gag with me and my best friend for a while, wondering why Amakuni made their tits so prominent. I'll relent, it makes more sense with Chazz because his shirt look like it's painted on in the show it's so tight, but even though he's like, broader? in season four, Jaden still doesn't get that same treatment, so it's really weird that Amakuni decided to give him such prominent pecs...But I guess learning they have the reputation as 'The Horny Figure Company' made it make more sense for me.

Yeah I only really heard bad things about Arts Shanghai but there's nothing wrong with Saint Tail so I was pleasantly surprised

I think I got a pretty decent track record with male figures all things considered lol. No one's really thinking about the Fromsoftware characters but they gotta count too. My partner picked up Myethos's Aki from Chainsaw Man but it just got delayed again. I'll highlight him for sure on the channel but who knows exactly when that'll be

W. I also got Dread's Samus. I have 9 other figmas and this one is for sure the best in both looks and feels. This kind of robotic suit just works so good with joints
Metroid Prime's Samus figma looks really nice but I feel like Dread's just outclasses it. Funny enough I think I also have 10 Figma, though I may be adding to that soon with Pit/Dark Pit. I'd have more if the prices were better lol I like em quite a bit

Either one with parts and joints or like a cool scale with decoration based on stars or even a Geno just sitting, as if it was before becoming alive. Never happening but fun to think about. (Was watching Nairo's playthrough and saw you in the chat at some point I think btw haha)

My first figma is the fluted armor from Demon's Souls, so I have absolutely no idea how to correctly pose him, but it looks like you got some good dynamic posing with Samus!
I really should by the fluted armor figma. Just been spending too much lately lol. I wouldn't be surprised if his articulation was more limited due to the design, but the amount of weapons you get with him makes up for it imo
@@ZuccoFigures Yeah, I can understand. I spent just a bit more than I was budgeting. The box for Samus looks similar to the fluted armor in terms of how nice and high quality it feels. I don't know why, but when I PO'd mine, they threw in two iron knuckles (the box already comes with one) so I now have three knuckles.
I don't imagine it being a coveted item, so you probably won't have issues with getting it similar pricing later on down the years when your budget is better.
@@DeleteTTM Fromsoft figures tend to go up in price, but I guess the Figma have been an exception lately(Hunter and Maria are easy to find still). Maybe the diehard collectors care more about statues, not sure
@@ZuccoFigures My guess is that they prefer not to see the joints in the figmas, or having to pose them. I do like the fluted armor since it hides the joints very well. Just don't look too closely at his behind when you have him laying down in his iconic pose.
I have both jaden and chazz... Jaden has been leaning somewhat ever since I got him. I tried to use a piece of small double-sided clear to hold jaden from leaning too much 😢

I've been meaning to check out Dead Dead Demons since I've already read both Goodnight Punpun and Solanin and enjoyed them. There's a really cool looking figure for Dead Dead Demons which is quite rare but for your sake, I hope they do a re-release when the anime comes out.
You'll def enjoy Dead Dead Demon's if you're a fan of his other work, and don't worry I have that figure lol. Thankfully I was a fan back when it was put up for preorder. It's stored away for now but I should probably find it and highlight it on the channel one of these days.

I wrote a big ass comment and YTB deleted it so I'm not going to type it all again. Basically, I ordered a bunch of figures too now since I have the income.
Some of which were in this video. The Phat Kasumi, and the FREEing Junko. I also got the Zero Two by GSC, the Murasaki Shikibu by alter, Radio Eva Rei by Hobby Max and the Kaede by Phat as well.
Yeah, Kasumi was very cheap. She was like 11k yen after shipping. Kaede wasn't that expensive either. I don't buy bunnies very often at all, but I buy almost every Danganronpa figure. Junko also doesn't get that many scales either. Its one of the few popup parade figures I own, since it looks pretty good and I think the pink base works well for her.
You might see Kaede on this channel next time. I hear the assembly is a little tedious due to all those musical sheets so I'm not looking forward to that lol

Ha KenKen's work is far more impressive than mine, but I'm always trying to improve and I appreciate you noticing. Lighting is such a tricky thing to work around and I still struggle with it, but I think I like this setup for now. All those RGB lights certainly too lol

Absolutely, though I'm unsure when due to how many games are in the series. If Trails in the Sky was on the switch I'd probably have started by now since portable jrpgs is my jam
@@ZuccoFigures There is a chance that they may be working on bringing Sky to the switch going by their financial reports, but we will have to wait and see. I would say if you are able to game on PC or have a Steam deck, Steam with its sale right now would be a great time to jump in as all the games are available on that platform. But Crossbell Arc is a perfectly fine place to start and is available on switch.
I recommend not thinking I have to play all 10 English releases at once, but more of focusing on each particular arc of the story. So you can do either Sky arc, Crossbell Arc or Cold Steel 1&2. Many of the first entries into each arc is a very chill experience that is perfect for on the go gaming.

@@JSenhChu Steamdeck is on the evergrowing list of tech to one day get. I can play games on PC but I just find the JRPG experience a bit comfier when I can jump in and out on a handheld so I end up playing for longer sessions. That being said, I'm planning to replay XB1 on emulator(improved visuals and whatnot) so we'll see how that goes first

I had to pick it up off of Mercari JP since its been out of print for awhile. Part of the Village Vanguard Inio Asano 2020 collection line I believe. It's a pain to find these shirts for decent prices but eventually they pop up. Keep in mind they only make M and L size for whatever reason, but yeah I love this shirt. Hope you can hunt one down

It's somewhat common when it's new right out of the box, but some just tend to have harsher smells for whatever reason

I'm glad there's more people who noticed how insanely tight Jaden and Chazz's shirts and pants were. It was actually a running gag with me and my best friend for a while, wondering why Amakuni made their tits so prominent. I'll relent, it makes more sense with Chazz because his shirt look like it's painted on in the show it's so tight, but even though he's like, broader? in season four, Jaden still doesn't get that same treatment, so it's really weird that Amakuni decided to give him such prominent pecs...But I guess learning they have the reputation as 'The Horny Figure Company' made it make more sense for me.
