I've always been a fan of that anime (though I've never finished it) and had to jump on the Pop Up Parade pre-orders. In fact, I've picked up quite a few PuP figures. I currently have seven in my Pile of Loot with Bigbadtoystore. 😅 While I've been pretty good at fighting off Nendoriods, Pop Up Parade is hard to ignore. You've mentioned several times how you were worried about shipping cost for some of your pre-orders. I take it you buy from Amiami? I placed my very first order with them a couple of weeks ago and let me tell you, the fear is real!!! Not knowing the shipping up front is nerve wracking!!! And the worst part? I ordered the Alter Percival from Granblue Fantasy and his box was not so small! So yeah, waiting until the next day to see what the damage would be was not fun. You are stronger than I ಥ_ಥ I think most of the unlocked figures look great! There are a few where their faces look a little off but overall I think they highlight the champions well.
Sell pinecones? I really wish that would work! I'd need to sell baskets and baskets of them. I've had to pay for eight figures (five of which were definitely not cheap) in the last five weeks. All those figures that got delayed until December and January were actually released and I'll admit, I've had to scramble to make it. I find I'm liking more and more paying upfront when I preorder. There's a sense of security in knowing that when the figure finally is released there won't be any "oh no, where am I going to come up with the money for this" moments. I feel pretty good about the fact that of the nineteen preorders I have so far for 2024, thirteen are already paid for. I finally feel smart instead of trapped like a rat on a sinking ship, lol.
I too wish I made millions from selling randomly foraged things ಥ_ಥ That sounds so smart and secure, instead of having to wince at the sight of a figure invoice. Hehe I just store money into my figure account/mattress money for all upcoming figures, but I do wish more sites offered up front payment.

@@hangoof I thought ME3's production value was lower than ME2's. Overall, the graphics looked worse, and a lot of the animations felt unpolished. I wasn't a fan of how war assets were accrued and how it slowly deteriorated over time. The original endings were also pretty lame. Even the updated versions didn't provide us sufficient payoff and closure. Too many critical decisions resorted to mere binary choices. When other games in the series promoted strength through diversity, the final game felt out of place. I have been a big fan of Fire Emblem since childhood. My favourite character is Lyndis (Lyn) from The Blazing Blade. To this day I can still clearly recall the moment she was announced. My hands were literally shaking from excitement because for the longest time I couldn't believe her official scale would ever be made. Imagine my disappointment when I received my pre-order unit. She was wrought with sculpt and paint errors. Even though GSC was kind enough to offer me a full replacement, I still felt she didn't resemble what was shown in the promo picture. Compare to other figures that were available at her price point, I couldn't believe how poorly she turned out. Maybe I was just unlucky. (╥﹏╥) The second FE figure that disappointed me was Byleth. To be fair, she turned out far better than Lyn, but the final product still felt off when compared to the prototype in the promo photos, which looked amazing. Thank you for your lengthy reply! You have a more technical analysis of the game whereas I was just sad from the companions I was losing left and right. lol But I can see where you're coming from. It's such a sad feeling when a figure you've been looking forward to isn't perfect in every way. My Lyn didn't have any paint or sculpt errors but she did feel very 'flimsy'. I agree that Lyn and Byleth weren't as breathtaking as the previous girls but I'm still holding out hope that Corrin will be good. FIngers and toes crossed. ᕙ(`▿´)ᕗ
Lyn 1/7 was definitely my biggest hurt. She was the only one I pre-ordered without giving it a second thought. I am typically fairly level-headed and make each figure I pre-order a conscientious choice. This applies to even my two favorite Live franchises: Love Live and Hololive. I am not immune to FOMO in-person impulse purchase, of course, but Lyn, she was special. 😢 I won't keep you any longer. I am sure replying to all these comments must take up a lot of your time.
