do all colectors keep the boxes? I keep the boxes of my pc components and already ran out of space. how would you store like 200 boxes and they are all so cool, you can't throw them away
@@muscifede In this case it is about value and selling. Box is part of the collectible basically. If you do not have it, the value of figure will be a bit lower if you want to sell it in the future. If you are veteran, obviously you can distinguish credibility of figure but overall box also acts as proof of figure not being bootleg to many people. Usually you see second hand figures without boxes being sold for a considerably lower price than with boxes or unopened (that are even pricier ofc). It is big hassle to find space, maybe you can use attic, cellar, garage (just be careful of mice and moisture)... but yeah, keep the box, it has value.

I've added Chinese dress figures to my collecting list as well. I have a shelf waiting for her, the Ying Swei on a pond, and one of Xiami, who I guess is a Chinese version of, well. You. With a bigger budget.
To avoid damaging the flaps when opening figures etc. I use a letter opener. Slide it under first one edge then the other and lift up. With a little easy maneuvering I have great success not tearing or damaging that top flap. You could also probably use a metal nail file or a plastic knife. Just something thin and flat. Great video! Love all the stuff!!
Here I thought the New Jersey figure would bring your figure collecting to a temporary halt. Not only did you got the Skadi figure, but you got the Schwarz figure as well. Never mind digging 6ft under, you might as well dig a Mariana Trench for your wallet.
@KenKen For the Chen and Neon figures, if you put the sticks to the end of their hands it makes the sticks lower or higher so that it makes the lanterns seem in the right height. It's just that the angle of the sticks makes the ends of it be able to be adjusted height-wise
So far I'm within the total of $1800 worth mark on my collections..bouta make it $2000+ with the "Arknights Dusk Ukiyo no Kaze VER. 1/7" I'm planning on getting next week.
There's a trick to open the box without damaging the flap, you use an x-facto knife or something similar to put through the gap between the flap at the box's corner and pull them up slowly.

This haul is incredible especially as an Arknights fan all of those figures look so godlike ╰(*°▽°*)╯ Skadi Alter was definitely a box in a box in a box for me as well and yes it is HUGE!!! The Blue Archive figures are also really nice only want Wakamo atm but might pick up others in the future. I do still need to get my hands on P3R since I have never played it; I can imagine it has taken up a lot of things. The clothing merch is wonderful makes me wish I knew about the collab Omocat are an amazing group DX

Hm, while looking at Asuna and nearby Karin they seem both of the same scale. Their heads are about same size, their shins are about the same length. And overall other than Bagpipe in this video all figures seem to belong to the same scale. So what is off here? Are they all undersized, and Bagpipe is not? Or the other way round, Bagpipe is too big?
The Asuna is a 1/7th scale though.... It just doesnt say it on the box, but all the listings and MFC page says its a 1/7th scale figure, also the Karin that can be put on the base also says its 1/7th scale.

It kind of bothers me when youtubers who can afford expensive figures kind of put down "prize figures" but not everyone can afford them. I live alone, have to pay rent and ❤ anime so the "cheaper" figures are all I can afford. And I think companies like Taito and Furyu really try on their quality too. Just had to get this off my chest...😅 Otherwise I do enjoy looking at the more pricier figures. I subscribed like an anime Simp 😂

Got myself the Nian figure also(I do simp for her other than Skadi thou) also yea do find the lantern a bit too tall and do like the small touch that you can plase a small light inside/outside(behind) the lantern to make it light out. Was suprise there was a physical copie of Luna night game. I'm hype to see the Skadi alter figure out later on but darm it a huge box.

When I got the DHL pricing for the Skadi Deluxe figure I almost fell out of my chair, but it’s so worth it, probably my favorite figure that I own.
