My impressions of the figure is basically "alright" from what I've seen online outside of a few things, but I think it looks better than my old Marisa from years ago which I should try to remember to talk about in the review lol. It's weird though because normally Max Factory produces better figures than GSC(at least from my experience), but it seems like that's just not the case this time. I skipped out on Youmu because of her price but depending on how she turns out I may be swayed to get her. Definitely a great figure from the promotional images tho

New Touhou figures seem to be on the rise so I'm hoping for a better Marisa in the future to replace this one. Youmu is one if my favourite characters and I just had to get her but yes they are expensive considering they are 1/8 and they went up for pre-order quite a while ago.
I'm loving that we're getting more Touhou figures lately, though it would be nice if they expanded on the characters being made. As much as I like Reimu/Marisa/Flandre/Remilia, it feels like that's all we get. At least a new Cirno is being made even if I'm not keen on the outfit change atm

I feel TERRIBLE about it lolol. One because it's just so high, and two because I'm still compelled to preorder it like a dummy. Like in my head I can sorta justify it a little bit, but the fact that it's exclusive to AmiAmi with no discount and AmiAmi is forcing the tax on us like always(it's 33k before tax) stinks. This coming right after AmiAmi asked me for 8K yen just to ship May from guilty gear really had me in a sour mood lol. I choose to ship her by boat to save like 40 dollars, but yeah Aqua is probably a figure I will end up buying begrudgingly while also selling/cancelling a figure to ease the pain. I just like it too much to pass up I think

The no blister situation you talked about with the Muramasa figure is absolutely not as described. The seller should’ve 100% disclosed that the box didn’t have a blister. They intentionally didn’t say anything so they could get rid of the figure. Throwing the figure into a box full of peanuts was an awful way to package it as it could’ve caused breaks on the figure if it had parts that were pointing/sticking out. I’ve been coming across (and hearing about) a lot of shady MFC sellers lately and it is disheartening as it makes me not want to buy from users anymore due to them being untruthful. I would leave a 2 or 3 star review on the seller’s page (preferably the ad page since I believe they can’t delete it if one is put there) since other buyers need to be aware of the seller’s dismissive attitude and them not feeling the need to disclose important information before taking someone’s money. If they truly thought that the no blister wasn’t a big deal then they shouldn’t have had an issue with disclosing that information because it wouldn’t had been a big deal for people to know about that first. They knew that the no blister was a deal breaker for some people so they didn’t say anything to not lose a sale.
It was definitely an annoying situation at the time to deal with, but I talked to the seller alot and they would have allowed me to return it(though they also offered me a partial refund too.) I don't think the seller was super shady or anything, and after we went back and forth on the situation they were very willing to help, but yeah information like this is important to the buyer. Ultimately this is why you gotta ask extra questions and try to avoid paypal friends and family incase something really goes wrong(not that they asked for F&F, just saying in general). MFC sales have mostly been good for me in my years of collecting if it means anything, and paypal usually has your back if you use the right service

Yeah she's awesome and has a few figures on the market. Not the biggest fan of her wedding figure but the one with the spider is pretty neat.

It was fairly risky for them too considering I would have returned it frame one if the figure itself got damaged lol
