    Thank you for all the videos! I seem to grow more and more attracted to this country. I am from Romania. This year, I am getting a degree in food chemistry (i will be a chemical engineer). I am also fluent in English but I don't know any Danish or Greenlandic, of course.
    My question is, do you think there would be any interest in companies there hiring someone like me? I've heard that Greenland is making efforts to source more products locally (such as potatoes) and i was thinking that maybe I could research into that more while I'm doing my masters degree.
    Also, do you think that someone can survive for the time being in Greenland only with English, and learn the local language over time?
    Thank you in advance :)

    I noticed you mentioned construction as one of the major job sectors. I was already planning on going to a trade job where I am already and I'd imagine alot of those go into that sector. I realize it's probably not your field of expertise, but would you happen to know what trades tend to do best in that sector and/or where I could find that information if you don't know?

That being said, thank you for this video although I am not seeking a job from Finland not to mention from Greenland. Hey I’m from eastern europe, thinking of where I can go, and Greenland has become quite an appealing option. The only thing that I’ve noticed which would be a major problem is language… so I ask this: is knowing Greenlandic/Danish a mandatory pre-requisite; there aren’t any sources on Greenlandic on the internet that I’ve been able to find, there’s a good amount on Danish. Would just danish be enough to enter the country or would even english be enough to get in, and then learn the languages there? sorry that was a bit long lol

    • @AlexAmasaOlsen
      @AlexAmasaOlsen  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Simon, if you can speak greenlandic, danish or english that would be fine in a town like Nuuk. It all depends on the type of job you would take. Nuuk is becoming a pretty good town for either three languages mentioned. But of course speaking Greenlandic would be ideal and second best danish.
      Hope that helped😁

      @@AlexAmasaOlsen It did, it did :). I'm just on the worried side because I did some job searches and it seemed as though all of them required danish, greenlandic, or even both! Should there be something with which I can get in just knowing english, that'd be ideal!
