Hey mate, love your content! As a conquest player, you may like the mod - GOH A&Rm - Authenticity & Realism (1.037) v3.41a. It has load of extra conquest content as well as the ability to make fortifications. It also better broken into early, mid and late war. I’ve had loads of fun with it and it’s a big improvement on the original. Worth installing extra aim and damage too for more realism
As the germans, you gotta start picking up enemy weapons. Think BARS and Garands. Significantly upgrades squads. Also binoculars, you need to start leaving scouts around the field to spot the enemy. What you cannot see is hurting you.
@@PuggoRebornChannel just started watching lol. I make sure to try equip sqauds with M1 rifle grenades, binos and BARS. Makes engagements so one sided lol
For sure, I normally do, but I'm trying to get away from it bc most the equipment I'm using is US in a German campaign. Plus, the challenge is more fun. I just need research points. I'm at the mercy of Low Economy haha @@easiesteevee2532
@@PuggoRebornChannel It's not too far off from what actually happened. The germans were big on m1s, BARS, SVT40s and DP28s. They often complained when encountering American units, due to the fact they were able to individually lay down insane amounts of fire compared to their bolt actions. So anything that could lay down fire they looted.
Hey man, great vid. I just discovered your channel through YT shorts the other day. You did a decent enough job making that recovery win, albeit seeming so hopeless. Sometimes the AI is way too accurate in general, but their artillery can be horrible. I've been playing around with the Authenticity & Realism mod recently and I totally get the feeling that the reinforcements are endless. The US in particular are pretty great all-around but they definitely seem to shine with anti-tank roles. It drives me mental sometimes. On another note I would especially avoid sending tanks into urban areas without the support of infantry because they become easy-pickings due to the limited view and close-quarters. Quite a few people that I know who've played Conquest as Germany all ended up capturing and using allied equipment too. They tend to be a lot more efficient, seems very much like the balancing is off in that regard but I guess it is historically accurate, lmao! Oh and just to be that guy, I wanted to let you know it wasn't actually an M36 at the start. It was instead its predecessor the M10 which mounts a 76mm
What i learned is amazing cheap and effective for a german start is fast tech to the Panzer 1F, 80mm armor and wrecks infantery. Then you just need Paks to keep tanks away.
I am one of those dudes who watch others play and quip about what I would have done. But I like your videos because quite often I see things I don't do. This is my first conquest video I'm watching so I'll have to go back to S1. But enjoying what I've watched.
Haha thanks, yeah, S1 comes with a lot of harsh gameplay. Most the reason is bc I play for mid tanks and 100 hp soldiers. If I could go back I would have changed the goals. Glad you enjoyed!
Tough battle for sure. Way to stick with it. I commend you for sticking with a faction equipment for tue most part. Playing on low economy is way too hard not to salvage the battlefield to bolster your army. Well done.
I think I might have to rationalize normal econ going forward. I just don't feel like I'm playing the German faction. All I'm doing game to game is trying to get enough research points to achieve good enough tanks
@PuggoRebornChannel Normal economy isn't cheating, you gotta have fun while playing the battles, otherwise it's not worth wasting your time.. I'm all for trying different tactics and different unit compositions throughout the battles.
Oh dear! Unfortunately you played the game completely differently to what I would have done, obviously easy for me to say, but artillery is key. Soften up the areas first🏴
@@PuggoRebornChannel I also hate sniping an artillery crewman from afar and have the whole artillery piece do a 360 turn and fire precisely on my well concealed sniper.

You pulled off another win! GG

I do? Check other videos if this didn't do the job

@easiesteevee2532 if you are picking up that much equipment, you might as well just play the American faction then.. I'm just saying..

Just need the research points. I definitely agree tho. The Pak40 would be perfect had I focused that early

Most difficult assault!
Wait how do you enter first person on units? I can’t find it on the actual control menu in CTA
E then T for 3rc person. Middle mouse scroll up for 1st/over shoulder
There is a mod that adds real first person it's called hawks first person mod

Absolutely, 100% agree
Oh, and by the way, I feel the AI is OP with its reinforcements... way too many troops.
Definitely was hard to advance with the overwhelming numbers.
First and only question why are Germans in a Stuart Tank lol M3
Lolololol we're desperate man

Good call taffy hindsight.
AI artillery is really annoying and way too accurate...
I always wondered if the units are veterans on the equipment, making them more efficient. Definitely can be a pain

Lmao exactly. My sniper guide talks about this
@@PuggoRebornChannelCool, I'll check it out! I keep restarting battles just to keep my Veteran sniper alive.
