Ed Reed and Polamalu will go down as better safeties by virtue of winning the DPOY & having a ring...But I'll defend Dawkins as an eagles fan and someone who watched every snap of his career in green and white....But, I'd put Dawkins up with either of them...37 INTs, 37 forced fumbles, 16 fumble recoveries and and 26 sacks...not to mention how good he was at run support on the line...AND how absolutely tenacious and feared he was. And, know whenever a bug hit is made, the offensive player gets so hurt. That's probably because they're not used to being delivered a big hit anymore like offensive players from the past were.
