I was my mom's first born so growing up I was all over the kitchen helping her cook so you know I can make tortillas echas a mano. What you find amazing is that there are tortillerias in Japan XD nice. Cheers homie
You are I had the same upbringing, brother. For sure. I know how to cook everything moms made...but since her passing... I just can't bring myself to make 'em. Pops past away last March, so now Menudo for me is something I used to eat in the past. Can't bring myself to enjoy a bowl. now. But... the food I make for the fam now... So good!!! Thanks for the comment, homie.
@@MexicanSamurai100 sorry to hear about your parents and I know what you mean. I had an uncle who got taken from us down in Mexico and now every time we have a family gathering I can't help but feel sick for partying when I know he can no longer be among us,he was always at the family gatherings. My pops bailed on my mom before I was even born and so my mom raised me at my grandma's home where I grew up surrounded by my uncles and aunts so they are very intertwined with some of the happiest childhood memories, in a way they are like my second mom and dad but you know it is what it is and life goes on. Cheers glad to see you uploading videos
I've heard so many good things about Whataburger, fam... Can't wait to try one. But I've been hooked on bison burgers for the last 5 years now. By far... the best meat for burgers in my opinion.
@@MexicanSamurai100 I never had a bison burger I had a fajita burger ummm now that I think about it it's just a round torta lol I will look for bison burgers in Texas
@@MexicanSamurai100 Wish I was there too. You and yours stay safe too. Oh, now that I'm here... your latest videos gave me some awesome nostalgia when you mentored and helped me. I wanted to promote you further lol
Neat! Did you get the tortilla press and the ingredients online? I’ve been looking up and down for masa to make corn tortillas in Japan and haven’t had any luck. I’ve had to settle for making flour tortillas which just aren’t the same.
Ok serious question: Haven’t you ever considered opening up your own taco truck/shop out there?? My wife is from Fukuoka and every time we visit her family out there (only two times so far) and try the different Mexican food joints, I always think “I would blow away the competition if I decided to live in Japan instead of the US and opened my own Mexican restaurant!!!” I totally understand sourcing the right meats/seasonings/veggies might be a challenge but probably not impossible... 🤔
Hey, brother. Thank you... I would love to have a lil’ truck for summers and events where I could just roll up and scream...”Tacos!” But... I love my craft too much and that takes most of my time away. Next time you come down... Let me know.😎👍🏽
Excelente video, felicidades
AWESOME!
God Bless, you and yours, ma’am 🙏🏽💕
Provecho
gracias, señora❤️
You’re on it, brother! Buen provecho.
gracias, señora❤️ Will never buy tortillas again. :)
That's what's up, Tino!!
This that real stuff right here😎
I had some of my grandma's tortillas during the weekend. BOMB AF!! I love the Guerrero brand Flower Tortillas though.
Grandma's tortillas... Wow.... Cherish them, bro... You're gonna miss them one day.
@@MexicanSamurai100 I only visit her about twice a year. The tortilla were so good, I was able to eat them without anything on them.
Much love from LA, homie
