    Mentor. We all need a mentor. 1990. I meet Mas Shoji from Gardena , he was my Aikido Sensei. He taught me to educate my self, he made me go to College , he also told me reading will free you. He passed in 2004. I attended the funeral, he was a 442 Japanese American solider and he three purple harts. I remember meeting his friends from Hawaii. He was a great man, but he never talked of his service. I had a great friend and a great teacher. Mentors. 😢😢😢😢

    Very easy to judge someone like Tavo, but it sounds like if you open your ears and heart to him, he had a lot of common sense and sound advice to give.
    Am lucky to have three mentors - and have ALWAYS counted you among them

      There are only a handful of people I can sit down and have an 8-hour conversation with… and Tavo was one of them. Definitely a lot of laughter, tears and… tons of wisdom💕
      Thank you for that, brother🙏🏽 Im always striving to be somebody’s Tavo.
