Interesting, thanks. The EGMP cars are remarkably calm at this low level. The Bolts we had would be shutting things down at 2% and delivering all kinds of insistent alerts. And range estimate just goes to "Low" within the final 10-15 miles. Not helpful!
There is a subtle power output limit below 10%, it decreases as you get towards zero. I do think E-GMP cars are a bit conservative when it comes to disabling extra features at low SOC. Both preconditioning and the interior 120 V outlet will shut off at only 20%. I didn't really like not seeing the power (accel/decel) meter below 0%. Luckily I had my Car Scanner app open to see the power meter. I wanted to be gentle with any acceleration (discharge) on the battery.
