man this color is just the best in car industry right now. BMW really nailed it with this long beach blue metallic
Annnd I've just found my exhaust :) Was leaning towards another but this vid sold me. Details on "Freeflow Downpipes"? Not seeing them on your site. Thanks for posting!
Any aftermarket downpipes will work with this set up!
If you don't mind saying, which were in use on this car? Can be a big difference in sound with cat / no cat / resonated, ect... Wouldn't want to go no cat and get a raspy mess if that's the case ;)@@valvetronic
@@brianstasney7553 we were using VRSF downpipes
Please make this also legal in Switzerland. Best sounding M2 Comp!!!
Would love to hear this with the dct box
Would be nice if you'd add an option for just the mid-pipe in titanium. Would like to pair it with the Akra muffler.
Our objective in the automotive aftermarket is to offer the ultimate experience. By experience, we mean singular experience. An axle back and mid pipe configuration that trumps all in terms of sound performance and optimized characteristics for the vehicles application. Respectfully to Akra, that system doesn’t sound as good as this setup. Running our mid pipe configuration with an Akra rear would be better, but we highly recommend that you sell the Akra and invest in this full exhaust solution as so many M2 competition owners have been doing lately. The reason is simple, we have fulfilled the objective of creating the worlds best sounding exhaust system for the platform and although we could probably make more money by selling the midwife separately, it would compromise our mission; providing the singular ultimate solution.
@@valvetronic there’s no doubt it sounds amazing and a lot better than Akra, but your full system will bust noise limits on every track I go to minus the Nurburgring. Akra axle back provides better sound reduction without closing flaps while the equal length midpipe significantly improves the sound.
Does the titanium one sound any different? Or is it more for weight savings?
weight savings, looks, and slightly more exotic sound
Sound superb ! I have a full straight dual pipe from catless downpipe on my m2, do think this setup would be louder ?
it will be very close
this setup is very raw
Listen I want to get this but I want to get a quiet version of it where is it?
Please watch our video of this vehicle with stock downpipes for a quieter sound
@@valvetronic Will that be enough? It seems like it still needs couple resonators, what are your thoughts?
@@karmaaina good question, this set up is actually quieter than stock with the valves closed. We know how important it is for the set up to be Dynamic so when you close those valves, it’s really nice and quiet.
@@valvetronic okay how much louder than stock is it with the valves open? Because that's how I like to drive it. Stock volume is pretty good to me, valves open, I would like to change the tone, plus maybe a little louder
stock downpipe is rubbish, buy a 100cell downpipe on it
Does the valve sync to the sport mode like the stock exhaust?
yes
@@valvetronic Damn you guys are fast, thank you for the response, this is an important point for me!
@@hadoodle we are here to help
@@valvetronic Do not sell him one. This guy has my family hostage and won't let them go :(
I had an active autowerke EL, unfortunately at 2k rpm there was a very annoying rasp, but I have not been able to find any info on whether or not this valvetronic one has it or not, especially with downpipes. Any insight would be appreciated!
very good question, the 1800 RPM traditional rasp of the S 55 is not eliminated. And testing we find that rpm range from 1800 to 1950 to be quite fun to enjoy. It’s quite raspy down there, but it is fun to play around with in a strange musical way. There is no exhaust is in that will be able to eliminate that fully, but this exhaust is truly a cut above any other system that exists on the market
@valvetronic I see, thank you for taking the time to respond!
miltek EL doesn't have the rasp at 1800-2000 rpm
@@AndrewChauFitnessyeah because it doesn't come with a downpipe lmao no downpipe = no rasp
Valvetronic sparing no expense by hiring stuntmen to drive on this closed course with professional drivers 😳
Also the car sounds fuckin sick. Burble tunes are gay af, but with that exhaust it sounds a lot more natural than the OEM exhaust.
Would a g82 M4 sound the same with this set up?
very similar
is the one in this video stainless or titanium?
stainless!
@@valvetronic thanks, sounds incredible!!
For that money I'd expect it to be titanium.
I don't like equal length, it makes the car sounds very generic
great! we invite you not to purchase this
"Generic"... I don't think that word means what you think it means.
Lol S55 needs equal length to sound LIKE AN INLINE 6. Stock/unequal length sounds more like 3/4 cylinders.. terrible 🤢
@@jortepapTwo 3 cylinders
@@valvetronicthe best response! The car sounds awesome, fellas! Great work!
