I’ve watched this lady on here in a few episodes and she is always so nice, polite and respectful to everyone she deals with no matter the situation. I’m sure she would’ve been lenient and cut them a break if he was honest with her. Every episode I’ve saw her in she has always been very fair about her decisions. We need more police officers like this in America.

You shouldn't be arrested for driving without a license lol. My friend got a ticket last month. He had to go to court and pay a $200 fine. On this guys case idk if he never HAD a license or if he was driving with a suspended one which would be a little worse for him. But if you never had a license and get stopped by a cop, you will simply get cited for it and have to show up to court to pay a fine. They will not arrest you unless you can't pay the fine or you dont show up to court at all

Because she represents a threat to his freedom and represents a significant problem in his life that she is bringing to the table. Driving without a license is not an actual crime. It is only a crime because the government in power says so and can enforce what they decide by punishment. Being around the police is so horrible(probably too strong a word), you don't even have the freedom to put your hands in your own pockets when thy are around. And they can make you not put your hands in them(so much for liberty or bodily autonomy) like you're a child, because they have so much power and lethal force.
Same with marijuana. Smoking marijuana is not an actual crime. it is only a crime because the government says so and can punish you for disobeying their say so.

Based on my personal experiences, the person driving the vehicle is the one that is in control. It even extrapolates broader than just control of the situation at that time, to who has control in the relationship at that time or overall.
Just think of it like this. The parent always drives the child around. Obvious reasons for that beyond what i'm saying, but it is also a manifestation of the control and power the parent has over the child and in that relationship overall.
