Clean truck bro, I’m mid install right now with 3 inch drop shackles by maxtrac suspension but they may be too long. When I raise the axle they hit the bed and when I lower it bushing hole passes the bottom hanger mount. What can I can do ? Thanks In advance!
Honestly bro from what I know 3 Inch shackles are too long and you have to cut the bed so they poke out from the top. I heard hangers to lower the truck affect the driveshaft pinion angle so you would have to adjust that if you use them. I might be wrong. I would use 2 inch shackles and maybe a 1 inch block to get 3 inches

Ian Hinton mine is 4/8 currently and I drive it in Texas which I believe has some of the worst roads ever. Honestly i think this is the perfect height where you can still daily drive without worrying about shit. I can run a 40 series tire which makes it comfortable. I can still load the bed without it hitting in the rear. Only rubbing i get is from the front tires when I drive over a big dip without slowing down.

I think I would definitely cut the underside of the bed, roll the fenders, get a lower profile tire, make sure u have a decent size step notch. Also there is this bar that goes over the driveshaft that u might have to cut or at least clearance it. I’m contemplating doing it myself so that’s what I planned on doing to mine

Get stock hangers. Keep the shackles and do a flip kit. You will be at 8. Basically my setup after I finished this video.

Do you know how to fix the Chevy lean?
I’ve heard new leaf springs help or I would think just adjusting the shackles for a 1in drop on one side and 2 on the other.
