    Clean truck bro, I’m mid install right now with 3 inch drop shackles by maxtrac suspension but they may be too long. When I raise the axle they hit the bed and when I lower it bushing hole passes the bottom hanger mount. What can I can do ? Thanks In advance!

    • @sanjuan240
      @sanjuan240  2 роки тому +1

      Honestly bro from what I know 3 Inch shackles are too long and you have to cut the bed so they poke out from the top. I heard hangers to lower the truck affect the driveshaft pinion angle so you would have to adjust that if you use them. I might be wrong. I would use 2 inch shackles and maybe a 1 inch block to get 3 inches

I can't imagine asking the Chevy dealer where I bought it. One on-line place "suspensionsuperstore", has live chat help and within 5 minutes he emailed me a complete list of all options for my long bed. I had called a store named "American Truck" and the conversation was so lacking in tech info that I asked the rep if their customer service was farmed out or did they actually work there. 😂 Also was surprised with Belltech's response. Thanks again for the info, San. Fair winds and following seas to all.

      Ian Hinton mine is 4/8 currently and I drive it in Texas which I believe has some of the worst roads ever. Honestly i think this is the perfect height where you can still daily drive without worrying about shit. I can run a 40 series tire which makes it comfortable. I can still load the bed without it hitting in the rear. Only rubbing i get is from the front tires when I drive over a big dip without slowing down.
