1. Deep breathes (slow exhalation) 2. Warmup (lip roll) 3. Nailing first line 4. Focus on lyrics & the emotions 5. Warm water (15/20 mins before and also during the show) 6. Perform more frequently (anywhere)
I made the very bad mistake of going from singing in my own home studio, to singing on a huge stage to over 70k viewers in 2019. It was my dream come true! However, my inexperience translated to the stage, pitchy, and frozen solid with stage fright - no matter how much I had practiced, no in ear monitors - never even heard of them before! But heck, I loved every second and would do it all over again in a heart beat 💜
Whatever you have told except the liprolls part I have faced each and everything mam... I still remember that in one of the competition I had to sing a patriotic song when I was in my 6th standard.. I had practiced this song so much but due to that fear.. the starting only went wrong and then I totally lost the lyrics I tried starting again but due to some faces in front of me some laughed some felt pity I could not continue and I completely stopped.. I cried almost there.. later I got angry on myself and I analysed how I can overcome all these like you said.. now I do not have any fear.. I sing in front of my relatives any function anything maybe I have that confidence.. just that we must always practice before performing and as you said.. we must give emotions and life to lyrics and just enjoy the song.. automatically audience gets connected to us.. I do see that liprolls do smoothen our voice and give stability... thanks for sharing your mam..❤

Let stage fright not keep you away from music itself! Try to find your own happy place where you can experience the joy of music, either as a listener or a teacher, or maybe an instrumentalist? Try something that doesn’t trigger nervous reactions in you. Music by itself can be so calming 😊 Hope you find your way back to music!
MADAM, THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SINCERE TIPS FOR ELIMINATING THE STAGE FEAR. ALSO I WOULD SUGGEST YOU TO MAKE AN IMPROVISATION ON YOUR INTRO MUSIC OF VOX GURU IN KEEPING THE CHORDS SAME...... THIS IS ONLY MY SUGGESTION...🙏
Mam this is really good and helpful for me because I was really feel the same what you told in the beginning like anxiety , stage fear and sometimes I use to think the same that I want get out from this stage and thank you for giving this useful lessons to know more about the singing very well god bless you mam 🙏🙌
Its really really needed videos for me it's very helpful mam... that's why because I'm currently facing this situation..in my school life I'm signing very confident but now 😢 ...I'm facing stage fear which mentioned plm in this video I'm facing...I'm dropping my all confident...I can't go stage...now u shared in this video little confident my self...TQ u mam..❤
Stage fear has ruined me 😞. I really try my best to not think about it but my heart automatically starts shaking really hard, which makes my voice shake and my performance gets ruined. I'm 22 years old now so I've almost lost all my hopes of becoming a singer. I wonder if i still have a chance 💔
Try to start by singing at home and record yourself. If you are confident you can also shoot a video and share it with your friends and family. If that is a more comfortable space then that can be a good start to express your music. Luckily today the live stage is not the only option to share your music with an audience. 😊❤️
@@VoxGuru I have tried uploading videos but i get so embarrassed of myself i always end up deleting them I don't know why. I don't just have stage fear but the fear of people judging me. But thank you so much for your reply 😊💕. I'm still trying my best to overcome it 💜.
