I appreciate that this big board stands out from the others with some unique takes. That said I do feel like bigs were undervalued in your board. Overall though was well thought out and a good watch.
Kelel Ware of Indiana is ready to shock the NBA. Good shot blocker, rebounder and scorer. Shot 42% at three which is great for a 7-footer and has all the moves in the paint. Quick off his feet a sleeper and a future star ion NBA, Ware
Glad I’m not the only person on the KJ Simpson island. He’s one of my favorite players in this draft class. Believe he can be a main part of the rotation for a playoff and contending team from day one.
A lot of players that teams don’t think have a high enough floor to take a risk. There’s going to be a couple that blossom into solid players late in the lottery that all those annoying people will be “my team selected player x instead of y and they should have been able to tell the future”
I have Edey at 11 and I'm still worried it's too low. Also just based off film McCain seems like a top 5 pick. He just has awful measurables. (Dillingham and Sheppard are short too, but they are much quicker than McCain who tested slow).
That was a good watch. My most glaring omission from the top 40 is Terrence Shannon Jr. I think he gets selected in the first round based on his elite speed and slashing ability.
Counting exhibitions he shot around 27%, including an NBA ball, 3-point line and a pretty tough shot diet. Being a driving threat with a pared down role I think he’ll shoot low 30’s as a rookie and improve from there.
@@derek-parkerI think if your that high on holland because you think his shot will come around I think you have to be higher on Matas then. While holland is a better athlete I don’t think he’s an elite athlete as scoot and green were. If both their shots come around I think matas has the higher Ceiling as he’s bigger and has better playmaking chops which will only be better if he can shoot and has shown he’s already a decent defender
@@derek-parker For the most part…G-League draft picks haven’t been living up to their promise. Even though this is a draft with no glaring generational prospects, and or guys who look like they are bonafide starters (outside of Dalton Knecht)…we’ll be laughing at this board in the future.
@marklaurensen. Well you can look at Utah as one of them. I would say the Spurs but we've got three first-round picks next year and depends on what the other teams do in that regard and if we don't get stupid and trade our picks. Portland's probably there and a few others.
@@rolandmiller5456 Idon't think sas could finish out of the playoffs next year unless VW gets injured. They are already that good and VW won't go for the losing anymore, so no more lottery picks with sas own picks for the next 15-20 years, unless VW has an injury year.
Oh man i actually have a fear of holland and think his floor could be quite low. Id like to be proven wrong of course but i dont buy his shooting and his defense isnt amazing either. His greatest skill is motor but that's not something i look for out of a top 10 pick
The hype on Reed is ridiculous. Dude only averaged 8 FGA per game…many of which were wide open. He’s going to have a horrible time getting shots off and making it to the rim in the pros.
And to be perfectly frank with you even though he was acquitted of the charges there are going to be teams that are going to look at him and really think twice before they take him.
Im not big on Holland, but you made a compelling case. That being said you lost me when you had the 6’1 164 lb Dillingham that high. Are you kidding me. At his size he will get rag-dolled in the NBA. Umm, good luck getting switched on big guards. Smh
I just dont see how people could say that lmao. Like he passes the eye test, his numbers are insanely efficient as well. At worst he'll be an elite 6th man, he just is going to be so atrocious defensivley he needs to go to a team where their are guys who can pick up his slack. I think people just see short and skinny and write him off as an undersized score first inefficient guard and while he might be the first two things he is shockingly efficient given his tough shot diet.He also has great play making upside.Offensively I just cant see his game not translate very well.
Ron Holland is 6-7 to 6-8-ish - although the 6-foot-1 noted in his lower third would be impressive!

Why so low on Bub? I like KJ but I’d definitely take a chance on Carrington in that range before I looked at KJ

Edey's 7'5 in shoes 7'11 wingspan. Faster in some drills than Sarr and Clingan. And he had his first TV commercial during the NBA Finals.

Now that he's cleared it's certainly a possibility
To the point and informative. Great video!
I don't see how Holland will improve in an off ball role when hes a 24% 3 point shooter. Teams are just gonna leave him open

i like the holland #1 take he’s andrew wiggins with mental edge
Scottie Barnes
Good video, I’m surprised you had kelel ware so late, but I’m hoping analysts agree and he slips out the lottery for my team to snag
What teams are planning on tanking for the 2025 draft?? It would effect how things play out in this draft... especially with trades, etc.

I say OKC gets DeRon Holms and Zach Eddy
Ron Holland... the most intimidating 6 foot 1 forward I have ever seen! 👀🤣

@derek-parker lol! The comment is appreciated! 😂 Also thanks for the info on some of these guys!! I don't be keeping up on the latest latest.
Bub?
what do you have against zach edey?
He is slow and no offense will be built around his skills.
Djurisic is a steal if someone picks him late first round
Yes

where is terrence shannon jr? he has top15 talent at least in this draft
@user.
He just got cleared last week of the charges okay. So the evaluators not this guy are the ones who are going to decide where he's going to go.
And to be perfectly frank with you even though he was acquitted of the charges there are going to be teams that are going to look at him and really think twice before they take him.
Before all that happened he was top 15...... If he gets back in that range that's great. But I don't expect that.

I love that you have KJ over Tristan DaSilva. DaSilva is overrated. Ppl see that 6'8 & dont think straight. Call it a case of TDS.
