@@Atthebuzzersports Thought I was being nice about it sorry.. But seriously did you even look at the roster before making this pick?? What makes Dilingham different from Tre Mann (under contract) , Seth Curry (under contract) , Nick Smith JR (just drafted last year) or Visili Misic ( under contract) all bigger better defensively back up/ combo guards who can play with Lamelo?? Not to mention we just traded away a smaller combo guard in Terry Rozier (who is better than Dillingham) because it wasn’t a fit for the team’s future.. If you’re drafting a guard for Charlotte he has to be a point of attack defender to pair with Lamelo because he isn’t a good defender and at best not guarding anybody’s best perimeter guard.. Which he would have to do if Dillingham is on the floor with him.. Again no big criticism just thought there are atleast 8 players the Hornets would draft before Dillingham on the board..
I think dilingham can be a Tyrese maxey type of player he checks all the boxes offensively can shoot, handle the ball and play off ball and with lamelos injury history he can be a insurance pick especially in my mock where I already have Stephon castle reed sheppard and dalton knecht off the board
@@Atthebuzzersports That a lofty celling goal for Dillingham but even at that .. I don’t think Maxcy and Lamelo is a good back court pairing.. You literally just told the league we’ve decided not to play good or even average perimeter defense.. Or you just made the Load on Brandon miller and mark williams incredible hard and stifled their offensive development having to work so hard on the defensive end.. Plus I mention we already have like 4 “insurance players “ on the roster already.. Your idea about Holland is good if the draft falls this way But I’d have Devin Carter, Jakobi Walker, Clinghan, Sulaun, Zach Richardsha and trading out as better fits then Dillingham!! Dillingham is a horrible fit for this team plain and simple..
