The Italian men were sure whistling. It was in the later years that she definitely started to get the looks of an addict. But she never lost her incredible voice.
She was just so real at this stage. Nobody taught her to sing like that. You can't possibly teach what she is doing here. It just pours out of her. When someone is coached to sing in this style it is just too obvious. The loss of such a talent (and it was sadly gone even before she died) is one the saddest things I can conceive. She was extraordinary and her band here was as well. Love that she smiles often during this show.

Certainly not like this...these performances are treasures. I think of all the great female singers of the past century. She was way up near the top in my opinion. That's really also what killed her. The expectations were just too much.

I have a similar experience my first concert was Amy when I was 9 in Manchester, first tour of Frank she got me playing guitar and taught me not be afraid of singing the way I wanted to!
It's really refreshing to see her enjoying herself on top of her game. She looked like a sincerely good-hearted person. Its really tragc she succumbed to the pitfalls life can throw at you.

I like this band so much more than the guys who were with here in her last years..I feel like these guys wouldn't laught at her if she would drunk fall on the stage.When I saw how they laught at her instead of help her..and these musicians are far more musicians than the last ones
Love this and the later pop version of her as well. She still blended elements later but would not have achieved her legendary status without the pop. Basically her pop stuff was simpler but allowed her to experiment more with, call it, attitude in her voice which suited her very well. Her style (voice) improved but as we know her body, and voice weakened. The songs from this set that she kept performing also received better treatment from her and her pop band. As Tony Bennett said, we learn from all the crap life throws at us, if we live through it.
Femi Temowo (the guitarist), if I'm not mistaken... Yeah, his arrangements and management of that 'sound' were one of Amy's best chapters. I wish_this_ band had stuck together. Amy's loss was huge. I think it'll take a while for history to really get it... She was an IMMENSE TALENT.

This is by far one of her best performance and amy is at her best here. The songs from the franck era are some of her best specially in this live version tho she admited herself to not liking some of the instrumental arragment of the songs on the album franck, she definatly changed them to her taste for the live performances. she knew best. Vocals are outstanding and the small flaws add to the beauty of it all.

Same. I went through the same shit, minus the fame and talent. I’m younger than her, but holy shit I can relate. No hard drugs for almost 5 years, but I do smoke and drink..I feel like we are kindred souls. I wish she had a real friend that didn’t take from her in any way. RIP 🥀
