It is such a terrible shame that she is lost to this world because of a preventable addiction. May God Bless You Always as you sing in His Choir of Angels. 🙏🙏🙏
She had this ability to reach beyond her diminutive physical form into another dimension -- as though she's reached deep into the collective soul of humanity, pulling emotion right from the source across time, space, and dimension -- then pours it into the moment through that voice... words would only get in the way. She also came alive as Mos Def got to the stage; his respect, love, and confidence in her as an artists and a person shone so brightly that even Amy felt it for herself. Even though it didn't last, it's a beautiful gift to watch and hear her receive nonetheless.
Amy Winehouse was one of the best singers of her generation. It's still so very hard to believe that she's gone from this life. What do they say about people being shooting stars? Amy was one.
Wouldn't that be a badass movie,... I'd pay whatever$ it cost to see her. I'm almost 60. My son came home one day all excited. I was like what up? He's like mom go sit down, I want you to hear someone sing. I was like oh my goodness what could it be that had him so excited!! I'm like listening ......I thought it was that dark metal, nope Amy Winehouse!!! I've listen to her ever since. Still listen to Joplin, one in the same, Genius, brilliant, the best voices in the industry. Amy did the same thing, booze, drugs & men . What a loss. R.I.P. I often don't watch videos of Amy as some people revel in posting vids of her in the bad period, I refer to remember her like this. Decided to watch this because of the title wasn't looking to be sensationalistic. Gem of a video.
I love the fact that she performed with a diverse and live band. Also, there's a beauty in the way that it looks like she styled her own hair, did her own makeup, dressed herself, stood on stage and just became one and focused on powerful deliveries of her music.
She was soo beautiful omg! Her eyes brings you to another world! You feel like cry, dance sing, scream! All at the same time! Only Amy can make you feel like that !

I’m sure she had a difficult time having to sing the same song over and over when it caused her so much heartbreak. But she said song witting and preforming made her happy and she could do it for the rest of her life.
Why is it I can never get enough of these songs? Can never get bored, can listen over and over a thousand times a day (and I often do) and they take my breath away every time. This girl was too special ❤️ one of a kind.

Amy's eyes are the proverbial windows to her soul. As she sings, she has a longing expression in her eyes that her message will get through to someone. Expertise and intelligence is behind all performances. I loved her from the first time I heard her sing. She seemed to be misunderstood and so alone.

One of my biggest regrets is not listening to her music when she was alive. I was only ten when her album ‘Back to Black’ came out, so I don’t beat myself up for it too much. It wasn’t until I had my first true heartbreak that I found out about her amazing songs and voice and completely fell in love with her. Truly a legend.

That is saying a lot-to put her up there with all of those greats. If she is not up there with those then she is a half a step below. She was one of the the greatest things to come out of London. Up there with Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Lulu, Adele and others.

Doubt it would have mattered unfortunately. When you're miserable and on drugs all you care about is numbing the pain and getting high 🤷♀️. It's a disease.
Miss her everyday! The first time I heard her I thought OMG! I still feel that when I hear her now after she has left us. Thank God we had the chance to experience her special voice. Wish she had been a happier person. She deserved to be happy. ❤️
VERY TRUE ONCE IN A LIFETIME TALENT. !!
She was a unique talent! Not the best, but unique. That's what matters!!
We never know. Remember, she was deep into heroin. Plus alcohol. Not judging at all! Just wish she was here to wake me up with a song and a big yenta smile!!
Even in 2022 her songs are still just amazing. Talent gone too soon. RIP Amy💕❤⚘
so true
Great art, whatever the genre, doesn't have an expiration date.
2024
Amazing concert. Best of her I’ve seen. Man I miss her on the scene. Two of the most uniquely talented pop artists of the last 50 years gone, Amy and Whitney. So much crap now. R.I.P. Amy and Whitney, your tremendous legacies will continue to inspire for generations.
She’s such a character, and I love how she interacted with her audience, and was so honest with them.
Authentic, intoxicated or high always had impeccable vocals and timing. Most times live performances were better than studio version. Genuine God given talent that is only seen every 75 to 100 years. RIP Amy
You can watch it a hundred times and come to the same conclusion: damn, she really was one of a kind...

Amy Winehouse was so unique. Her style and voice was so different and beautiful. Really loved listening to her. So sad that she's gone. Jazz at its best.

Never seen this footage. Really shows her talent….her gift😢 Her unique soul. 💕💕💕
10 years ago today we lost this immeasurable talent. Only 27. What a sad, sad loss. Gone too soon is an understatement.
She really knows how to change the vibes to her songs. She switches them in so many ways. Wow.
Makes you feel all kind of emotions there is.

❤❤❤ I so miss her 🥲🥲😊
Gift from god and father Xmas 🎅 and the Easter bunny 🐰 maybe her family
I've seen her sing this song live several several times...and it's always different but yet always perfect
People, this is one of the the most talented, legendary artists of all times. Right on up their next too, Bessie Smith, Billy Holiday, Tina Turner, Janis Joplin. I think she beat em all. Truly amazing, unbelievable, and mind blowing❣️ The bomb💣 R.I.P. Amy🙏🏼
Anytime I am in emotional pain, I listen Amy singing. It’s therapy for my soul, for my broken heart. Thank you, you beautiful woman. Can’t express my sorrow and sadness thinking about you leaving this planet. Way to early. Your music is our happiness.

Those background men are something out of an artistic dream.
Dap-kings out of Brooklyn, NY. Associated record label is Daptone. They were the backing band for some great singers, including playing on Amy's Back in Black LP, and put out many great records in this 60's soul vein, including Sharon Jones and Charles Bradley, on their record label. daptonerecords.com/home/

Honestly
I remember her saying she didn’t know why she turned up as her backing singers/dancers were so amazing, they must miss her 💔
The world of music lost something very special when this woman died. Irreplaceable.
My friend Samantha B you can see her on UA-cam she is a look a like of Amy and dresses like her hair and all and she sings good check out Samantha B and she shares Amy with her while she sings. She is keeping Amy alive. Thank you

I truly miss Amy Winehouse..She should never have died...she was truly a great jazz singer! It still breaks my heart to this day. So sad she passed away:(
It's 2022 and I just now discovered her music. How did I miss this multi talented beautiful young singer! Sad that she passed so young and in her prime. I can relate to her in the struggle with substance addictions. I quit drinking alcohol 34 years ago. Heart breaking that her addiction took her life. I can listen to her music everyday now that I found these recordings of her. RIP AMY! The world will never be the same without you.
Just makes cry listening to the lyrics and her soulful voice full of pain . I think we can all relate when it comes to heartbreak of a love lost . Such a unique and amazing talented & gifted singer . Amy we love you always never to be forgotten . R.I.P.
Words can't begin to explain how beautiful Amy was inside and out. Her voice, angelic.. the pain, the soul ..effortless. R.I.P Amy
I used feel her pain when I heard her songs, but now I cry knowing that her pain was deeper than just heartbreak. Hopefully her story inspires and motivates people. Stay strong and use your creativity as a positive way to move forward in life, and don’t let love run you. 💗
💯💯
Amy will be remembered like Billie Holiday, an enormous talent, painful addiction, and gone far to soon.
This has to be one of Amy's best performances. Absolutely amazing! I miss this extremely talented beautiful soul.
2019 I am 63 years old and think Amy is brilliant. So much talent, wish she was still with us, such a void
Almost your age. Love her in this green dress. Check out Angelina Jordan. Just a young girl but she does an amazing cover of Back to Black.
I'm 67, love her!
Im 81 and I love her.
Puré talent.
I'm 66 and I just found Amy recently. Hooked on "Valerie"; so wish I'd have found her sooner, especially while she was with us! Gone WAY too soon!
I am German and I have to write in German... Ich haben Tränen in den Augen!!! Amy, du fehlst uns allen so sehr!!!
Die besten sterben zuerst.
Drunk , stoned and still can sing better than the top 40 . Rip , you're a angel and always was .
I cried tears for her mom and dad it must be so hard she's beautiful through it all she shot straight up praise the Lord
She was dying in plain sight, while singing her heart out. RIP AMY
I just wished she had not had that boyfriend that introduces her to drugs. Imagine the incredible talent she had and not being around is a shame since she could have written more great songs at this time.
@@angelacarleton9575 Amy was already into drugs and alcohol; Blake just introduced her to hard drugs. Yes, he was an enabler, but if Amy hadn't found him she no doubt would have found someone like him. She was an adult who made her own choices. So sad, as she was such an amazing talent.
So true. She was a fantastic singer.
She reminds me so much of a 1950's nightclub blues singer. I think she was born too late to live in this modern world....a very old spirit & superb talent
Nothing so great in this modern world .
They had drugs then too, shed still be dead.
@for real. you nailed it!
for real you didn’t realize she was a time traveler
I’ve heard she was the back up singer/girlfriend of Ray Charles in a past life. Explains the voice completely
Perfect embodiment of blues, jazz & pop. Amy was truly phenomenal.
Her band can look back and tell their grandkids that they sang with the biggest female star ever love and respect to her backing singers/dancers wish we all could go back
Yes! That backing band (the Dap Kings) also played with the late Sharon Jones who was an incredible talent in her own right ☺️
The band is outrageously talented, I love the singing backup dancers! Zalon & I forgot the others name but, both great & of course this Angel's Blessing she gave us!! RIP, babygirl... You are always with us! Xxxxxx
@@dorothygagliardi8905 the dap kings and their associated label Daptone are really doing some incredible stuff! They're keeping that classic soul sound alive
Amy winehouse and the Dap Kings. What a match!
Wish more things like this were on the TV, people need to have an appreciation of how wonderful she was, not just a women afflicted by addiction 💕
As a 72 year old music aficionado in 2024, it is glaringly apparent to me today as well as 20 years ago, and to millions of other fans, just how incredibly talented this woman was.
It is such a terrible shame that she is lost to this world because of a preventable addiction.
May God Bless You Always as you sing in His Choir of Angels.
🙏🙏🙏
her singing during mos def’s verse is the most heavenly thing i’ve ever heard, honestly.
YASSSS ✊👌 THAT WAS EVERYTHING AND HER SCATTING GAVE ME CHILLS 🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
jeez, totally agree
She had this ability to reach beyond her diminutive physical form into another dimension -- as though she's reached deep into the collective soul of humanity, pulling emotion right from the source across time, space, and dimension -- then pours it into the moment through that voice... words would only get in the way. She also came alive as Mos Def got to the stage; his respect, love, and confidence in her as an artists and a person shone so brightly that even Amy felt it for herself. Even though it didn't last, it's a beautiful gift to watch and hear her receive nonetheless.
She should've married him and not Blake.
Amy Winehouse was one of the best singers of her generation. It's still so very hard to believe that she's gone from this life. What do they say about people being shooting stars? Amy was one.

Rest in peace darling.
She opens her mouth and it’s like nothing I’ve ever heard. Makes it look easy. They need to make a movie about her life. The truth.
They did. 2015 documentary called 'Amy'.
I never heard anything like her either . Cant understand her mostly ! joe Cocker is more coherent ! Thank you !
R.I.P. Amy your free now, fly my angel fly.....❣️✌🏼 Love ya Janis R.I.P. y'all are so missed!!!!!!
Yeah u right...she can do things with her voice that are out of this world...I listen to at least three every day...
Hello, A movie 🍿 🎥 is set to release in May “24” “Back to Black “
OMG ....this is absolutely fabulous....how rare to have so many amazing performances from Amy at one venue.....definitely at her peak.......so hard to believe this has soooo few votes
Che grande donna, peccato come e finita, riposa i pace
I often don't watch videos of Amy as some people revel in posting vids of her in the bad period, I refer to remember her like this. Decided to watch this because of the title wasn't looking to be sensationalistic. Gem of a video.
Excellent!!💕🙏🏻🕊🧂😇. I love her!! 75 I feel her vibes! Thanks so much for sharing! Beautiful blessings, such a treat.
I'm a metal/rock guitar player BUT I LOVE Amy's voice and style. For me simply number ONE!

I love this girl, there is no one like her. She was amazing!...
yes i am i m french and i love amy everybody i listen the five voice the world
sorry for my english
Correct english: "There is no one like her."
Yey
I love the fact that she performed with a diverse and live band. Also, there's a beauty in the way that it looks like she styled her own hair, did her own makeup, dressed herself, stood on stage and just became one and focused on powerful deliveries of her music.
She and her voice and her personality and her deep down to earth songs, how could we not love her.
She was soo beautiful omg! Her eyes brings you to another world! You feel like cry, dance sing, scream! All at the same time! Only Amy can make you feel like that !
Up there with genius throughout history..so much impact, so unique, real, troubled, non conformist, the category of young gods yet so genuine...lost in a strange world...the young godess we can only admire and love, forgive, cherish...forever..she can never die..never..she won t
She sang her song differently every time. One of the regrettable things about her passing is not hearing her play with the notes anymore. :(
I’m sure she had a difficult time having to sing the same song over and over when it caused her so much heartbreak. But she said song witting and preforming made her happy and she could do it for the rest of her life.
Why is it I can never get enough of these songs? Can never get bored, can listen over and over a thousand times a day (and I often do) and they take my breath away every time. This girl was too special ❤️ one of a kind.
What an incredibly talented person...She's had a voice that transcends many different styles...So sad ..yet,, her voice and spirit will go on...because she was the REAL DEAL.
Captured at her incredible best how many others still get a lump in their throats watching her when she was fresh, untainted and so full of life and happiness?
Love Is A Losing Game is the best off of this one of her many memorable performances and Most Def’s flow is just 👌🔥🌪
Amy's eyes are the proverbial windows to her soul. As she sings, she has a longing expression in her eyes that her message will get through to someone. Expertise and intelligence is behind all performances. I loved her from the first time I heard her sing. She seemed to be misunderstood and so alone.

How lucky are we mere mortals to witness such greatness.
Stop and think about it. Renders me speechless

Yes a shame ! But she left us a lot !!!!
I can’t imagine where she would be now as an artist, a woman and a leader. She had so much potential, talent, and passion. We lost an amazing soul. ❤ I love her voice so much. I could listen to it for hours.
Daniel V omfg I relate to every word you just said. Same here.
I love Fade to Black album! An incredible talent gone too soon.
I feel this
Daniel....no regrets. Keep that open mind.....always, in regards to music. Click around...I tend to listen to lyrics...not just to the voice...From the first time I heard Amy in the early 2000's....she was singing my heart. So good, honest.....and spot on.
The same happen to me 😔
Simply one of the most natural singers of all time. Right up there with Ella, Sara Vaughn, Aretha, Diana Damrau, Tina and Joni Mitchell.
That is saying a lot-to put her up there with all of those greats. If she is not up there with those then she is a half a step below. She was one of the the greatest things to come out of London. Up there with Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark, Lulu, Adele and others.
It sounds like she has a sore throat here. She is one of the best, undoubtedly! Check out her earliest Glastonbury concert. She is pure truth pure love pure soul 💗rest in love Amy
