- It's no surprise that knife rights are under attack and that many existing knife laws are stupid and illogical. In this incredibly important video you will learn which states are the worst to be a knife owner, which states are the best, and which countries are currently under attack by legislation designed to pacify the masses through meaningless laws instead of dealing what is at the core of the issue.

Vermont, no restrictions on knife or pistol carry, crime rates: lowest in nation.
+Peter Parker the most dangerous knives in the world are the ones most people have in their kitchens, as a cook i can tell you a razor sharp 10 inch chef knife can do more damage than some folding pocket knife.
also one of the more ethnically homogeneous states
Actually because Burlington Vermont is a sanctuary city we have a fairly diverse population, yes large parts are rural and populated by mostly whites but look at Chicago, a gun free zone, some of the highest gun crime rates per capita in the nation
Peter Parker Piper yeah chicago is gun free like as in the guns are free if you live there lol
Jeffrey Butrick tell it man!
God finally someone else that says that a damn knife is a tool.
All criminals will find a way to do crime no matter the weapon... you can't prevent crime by getting rid of tools...
sonnypally6 oh come one when in your life did you have the moment fuck if I had a knife with me i would have been a lot better person
Dumboldore C if the liberals had their way we'd only be allowed a flimsy spork, safety scissors, and non toxic paste to get our work done.
Dumboldore C you forget everyone in office are mental retards.
Dumboldore C moral people don't need laws and criminals don't fallow them
Dumboldore C Not true... get rid of the tools that keep trying to pass these bans while being soft on criminals.
knives need to be legal nation wide
no type or style restrictions

Flinch Fu if knives are illegal, rocks, sticks, scissors, pencils, pens, pins, hammers, wrenches, screw drivers, and forks should be illegal.

I'm sorry but the info on Canadian knife laws is incorrect. Knives with the wave feature or the "karambit" loop are NOT illegal. A quick 30 second google search will show that there are tons of knives with those features for sale all over Canada.
Also, not all 1 hand opening knives are illegal. Exact wording: Manually-opened or 'one-handed' opening knives, including spring-assisted knives, that do not fall within the categories listed as prohibited weapons definition are legal to own, import and use.
Examples of prohibited knives include: any knife, including a switchblade, gravity knife, or butterfly knife with a blade that opens automatically by gravity or centrifugal force or by hand pressure applied to a button, spring or other device in or attached to the handle of the knife; Constant Companion (belt-buckle knife); finger rings with blades or other sharp objects projecting from the surface; .push daggers

Do you have the name of the bill it's in? I'm having absolutely no luck finding it.
Funker Tactical - Gun & Gear Videos this is absolutely not true. Wave and karambit are not prohib.
Funker Tactical - Gun & Gear Videos I've searched through section 2 subsection 84(1) of the criminal code and cannot find any reference to the wave feature being prohibited. I can however see how the karambit loop may be interpreted as "brass knuckles" by a judge since CardSharp knives are now considered "concealed" weapons since they "don't appear to be a knife" which is also stupid.
freedom isn't the same word it used to be...
Netherlands, only thing legal is a butter knife. No not a butterfly knife, a butter knife.
seriously
Ryan H. youll get away once with a kitchen knife but dont even dare have 2 kitchen knifes
SomeEnglishGames I totally agree with you. In Germany you can buy knives and stun guns at any gas station and in all of the supermarkets there you can just buy knives. In the Netherlands you can only buy plastic knives at the gas station. And in the supermarkets in the Netherlands you can only buy some dull kitchen knives!!
Like I have been warning folk, that after the guns are grabbed & made illegal, on the heels of this, knives & all other non-gun weapons are going to become illegal & grabbed as well! Even sentry dogs, martial arts & locks on private homes & other property!!!!!! The gun-grabbers are silent about this but plan to make the common public totally vulnerable!!!!!
Rickert88 plays games you can't buy tasers in Germany plz get your facts right, I live in Germany.
I'm a gun and knife nut..... and unfortunately i live in the great state of N.J.... yeah, i know but i can't..... don't ever move here, seriously
Me too. Gun laws blow here.
Josh Bencivengo If a cop finds a knife on you in NJ. Never say it's for self defense, say it's a tool. Say you use it at work. We are a victim disarmament zone here in Nazi Jersey.
MrMrjones333 I grew up in NJ, as long as the knife was less than 4", and did not use a button to open there was never an issue.. I still carry a knife when I enter NJ...
MrMrjones333 Any knife in NJ over 4 inches can not be sold to minors all other knives are legal some just have some restrictions, but for the most part all knives are legal. You may own any knife you want, but not carry all of them. Refer to the NJ knife laws anyone who tells you anything about 4 inches only applies to those under the age of 18. Dont believe hearsay research it and if there is a cop that doesnt know show them word for word the law on NJ state police website.

I live in PA. I called my local state police barracks and asked what our state laws were concerning knives. Surprisingly he was VERY helpful and explained. I can carry any knife, fixed or folding, any length, concealed or not, as long as it isn't either a double edge or a button release switch blade. While I would rather not have any restrictions I feel kind of lucky after hearing what others are going through. Definitely want to join knife rights and get things changed. Thanks for this great video!!
God bless TN, all known knife laws have been repealed sense 2014
all knife rights matter

Glad to hear all knifes are legal in Arizona. #KnifeRights
Butterfly's too?

All knifes are legal in Arizona, both to own and possess in public. Including Butterfly Knifes & Switchblades.
Yes, because our law makers know it makes no difference what kind of knife is used.

First it's knives and guns, and then it's hammers and then needle nose pliers and ratcheting socket wrenches. Tools are NOT weapons! Weapons are weapons.
I can see it now: "Why do civilians NEED ratcheting capabilities, only police and licensed mechanics should have assault ratcheting wrenches."
MrLeonidas0001 "Tactical Adventure Lifestyle"
Odood19 News Flash "school ratcheting assaults are growing! two kids and a teacher turned due to illegal weapons"
Firstchoice Lastchoice get two slices of bread and peanut butter, wrap them around the banana and each of you enjoy a banana/pb sandwich!
Odood19 Anything can be used as a weapon. Cars, hammers, screwdrivers, baseball bats, etc. The human body is a weapon. There are hundreds of ways to kill or disable an attacker with martial arts. Some countries ban the teaching of martial arts. ALL liberals are crazy. They want to be able to rape and abuse people without any resistance. A victim doesn't have the basic human right to fight for their own life. If a woman is raped or beaten, it's her own fault for the way she was dressed, or where she was. How can liberals support this kind of thinking? Because they are all evil.
Odood19 Amen, a full ratcheting assault wrench in the wrong hands can be a threat to the public. Oh the horror of it all. Suppose the entire population could get their hands on one. Oh the carnage would be horrendous. I'll have nightmares now.
Well maybe, but what you said"having violent thoughts". Well we aren't doing too good in that area, violent movies, video games, comics books, and on and on. Yea violences sells but it's not for a child having a un-defiled mind, add these thought's, you see what I mean. When I grew up Archie Comics didn't get too wild or tv. We had superman, and he was supposed to be the good guy. The first video game I saw wasn't until I was married and "Pong" wasn't too wild. Society in it's bid to make the all mighty dollar found out violence's sells. and kid aren't taught respect, discipline and where to stop and go no further.
Meditation would help, very much. But society doesn't make money that way. Oh by the way what happened between my generation and now???, Sex, drugs and rock-in-roll ! If it feels good do it.
We honestly don't follow these laws in Mississippi. If we know a law is complete bullshit, we will not follow it.
Mountain_Man I love living in Mississippi, I’m a minor and can own pretty much any knife
I'm a Farmer in Alberta My son had his folding knife taken away at school and they tried to kick him out of school and call the cops on him because his knife fell out of his pocket while changing for gym class and a kid reported him for having a knife. He had helped me feed cows where cut the bale twine for me before school I had to go to the school and meet the cops they were ok but gave us both a warning and said for it not to happen again. It made me mad, backwards system give good kids trouble but the kid that is from a single parent drug home can bully kids and not get kicked out of school because he doesn't have a good home.
AndersonCattleCo. yeah I was lucky when I was in high school 10 years ago in alberta I carried a knife every day and used it all the time. never had a problem but I know some other kids who did get in trouble...it's ridiculous. i could stab someone with a pencil just as easily
New World Order, has quite a foothold in ole Canada! You Canadians have to rise up and shut this insanity down. It's out of control up there in those Canadian Provinces. Kick that dipshit Trudeau out of office and then the country!
AndersonCattleCo.- I once new a guy who was from Alberta and his last name was Anderson. His family was in the cattle biz. He had a lot of fun one day, telling me all about the bloody mess of de-horning. I can't remember his first name. I met him in Utah around 1978 0r 1979.
Dave M Well who's worse? Trudeau or Trump?

Welcome to the southern U.S. States where I can walk into town with a sword and 50 cal
If you knew what you are talking about, you would know that what you said is untrue. And if you were to walk into town with a "sword and a 50 cal", why should possession of those (impractical) items be a crime? The unlawful use of them should be the crime. The modern liberal mindset is to legislate "what ifs" until you have no rights at all.

I am a knife user and NRA certified instructor and I have never heard of knife regulations but I agree that all knives as well as all guns should be legal and Kniferights and the NRA should get their way as soon as possible. America needs to stop taking weapons from innocent citizens and start taking guns from ISIS.
#KnifeRights

All guns? There's really no place you'd put a limit? What about vehicular-mounted weapons?
I'm from San Antonio Texas Texas and I just want to say thank you I will support knife rights
Tennessee removed all knife restrictions in 2014. Basically, the only knife illegal in Tennessee is a ballistic knife.
zackzenron I’m in the state of Tennessee and I was wondering about the law about knifes carrying?
Just get rid of that restriction and tennessee is golden, i wanna see them good old boys totin 45s and ballistic knives
@Darrell Finley
Switchblades, balisongs, and OTF knives can be practical knives but they're much more $$$ dependent to be high quality and reliable.
Of course the balisong is the impractical out of all of them
Also ballistic knives are straight up illegal in the USA
Ballistic meaning the blade is fired out of the handle turning it into a projectile
In Texas "Butterfly Knifes" were made legal as of Sep. 1st 2013 im so happy now
Glad I live I Texas
Colorado is doing away with a 50 year old ban on automatic knives. Guess what buying?
You're lucky
@Darrell Finley I love my KA-BAR too! 😀 I use my autos for work since they are very convenient one handed, but I would much rather trust my life to my KA-BAR, no moving parts to fail at the worst possible time!
Freedom! 😀👍
@Darrell Finley I've been collecting knives ever since I was 12. I got a nice balisong for my birthday and I fell in love! It's nice being in Utah where we don't have any restrictions on the types of knives we can own! 😀
the right to keep and bear arms
People should be prosecuted for doing criminal things, not for carrying a tool in their pocket.
Tools should not be illegal. Criminal activity should be illegal. Let's not make an inanimate object illegal. Let's make the use of that inanimate object in a criminal manner illegal. And that's the way it should be.
SomeGuy , well said & very True.
SomeGuy agree with you completely
Your reasoning is circular because when you say "criminal activity" you're including anything that's been made illegal under the law. So I feel like what you want to say is that hurting people or property should be illegal, but there's no reason to make it illegal just carrying a tool that could hurt people or property. Which sounds fine.
But for this next part, I need you to really step outside yourself and examine the feelings you have about the situation. Realize that you desperately want it to be a certain way. We all have these feelings. But don't let your feeling about something stop you from understanding about it. You can't say "no I don't understand because I want legal knives" because that's just coming from belief instead of actual information and wisdom. You can understand something you don't want to be true. It's just harder. Make the effort.
Now look at the knife in the intro. Look at typical knife carry videos, especially stuff like karambit. These knives are not being used on a daily basis for cutting fucking oranges. Demonstrations all show them being drawn quickly into a fighting pose. They tie up meat in an old shirt and hang it to slice up and see how deep into the meat it went. The knife is not "in your pocket" like it's buried alongside your phone and keys; it's on a concealed belt sheath so you can draw it quickly. And you're not walking around town with a big knife doing camping / survival tasks. You're buying frozen chicken at the grocery store and little tree-shaped air fresheners at the car wash and picking your kid up from school. The knife is for fighting. You carry the knife because you think you might get attacked, and if you do, you want to cut the guy up a whole lot. It's a tool only in the sense that a gun is a tool, but not in the sense that a can opener is a tool. The dull-ass plastic-handle knives in your kitchen are tools that could be used as weapons; your carry knife is a weapon that you never use as a tool but could, badly. And slipping a crap kitchen knife in your belt and carrying it around town reveals a different mentality in the bearer, so that the intent you have for the knife is clearly heavily on the weapon side instead of the tool side.
Admit that it's a weapon and argue that it should fall under the 2nd amendment. Everyone can see the smoke you're trying to blow up their asses with the BS tool talk.
Thank God for Arizona
And Texas ;)
Tucson.
The AZ has best gun and knife laws period
@@boogoog7395 Do it man! You are totally within your right to do so!
To be honest nobody follows knife laws where I live.
Good! Patriots do not follow unconstitutional laws, and patriotic cops do not enforce them!
@@joshglover2370 Do you mean patriotic in the sense that you're proud of the democratic process of your country and wholeheartedly embrace the rule of law in the proper functioning of a civilized society? Or patriotic in the sense that you get a hard-on when you see your flag? Because the correct way to address a bad law is to engage with the legislative process and get it changed.
You mention constitutionality. It's up to the court to determine constitutionality of a law, not citizens. And plenty of laws properly restrict constitutional rights; shouting "fire" in a crowded theater, credible threats on someone's life, etc. are legitimate restrictions on free speech. If you personally think no law must ever affect a constitutional right, that's nice, but only other independent citizens think that way. All three branches of government, in the present day and historically, disagree with you. Their expert opinion matters in a way that your amateur opinion doesn't.
One exception is when the law is inhumane and the system is too broken to change it. But laws like this are being changed all the time, so that's not the case, and you being limited to a 3" fixed blade or whatever is not a human rights issue and hardly puts you on the level of anti-segregation sit-ins at lunch counters.
This is one of those laws where if you break it you're just a pissy jerk. Don't try to wrap a flag around yourself to legitimize your childish and lazy refusal to follow the change process everyone is expected to do.
I'm in Vermont, we are a constitutional carry state. You can carry wherever you want except government property, schools, and businesses that say you aren't allowed in with a gun. We also have very few knife laws.
Keep up the great work! Great video and I hope you all realize you you give a person hope!
Under attack? Hell years ago my state passed legislation allowing you to carry a dirk if you want. It's practically unlimited here.

MrLeonidas0001 "Tactical Adventure Lifestyle" There is now. anything, along the lines of an actual "bowie", a chef's knife, or a machete.
Stoney Lonsome I once had an undercover cop suggest that I conceal my belt knife. At the time, it was a 6" hunting knife. Now, a SOG Seal Pup.
***** It doesn't really matter. From him, yeah, it was advice, because of how he offered said advice to me. (paraphrasing not my forte I'm not going to try, as it was several years ago.) However, as it stands, on the books:
What is Legal
Alabama has one of the best knife laws in the US.
If you don’t like legal speak, here is the basics of what are legal under Alabama knife laws.
Balisongs/butterfly knives are legal.Switchblades, gravity knives, automatic and assisted opening knives are legal.Stilettos, dirks, and toothpick knives are legal. All folding knives are legal.Bowies are legal if carried open (like on your hip).Bowies are legal to carry concealed if you are on your own property.Double sided knives are legal, no matter the size.If the knife fits in your pocket, it is legal.Out the front knives are legal.
What is Illegal
Here are notes on what kinds of knives are illegal under Alabama knife laws.
Bowies and things that are like Bowies are illegal if concealed.Bowies are illegal to have in your vehicle.A machete might be classified as a Bowie and it would be illegal if you carry it concealed.A 11″ butcher knife has be found to be like a Bowie in court so don’t plan on using it in a crime.Selling Bowies to people under 18 is illegal.
Alabama State Code
Only Bowie Like Knives are Illegal
Section 13A-11-50 Carrying concealed weapons
Except as otherwise provided in this Code, a person who carries
concealed about his person a bowie knife or knife or instrument of like
kind or description or a pistol or firearm of any other kind or an air
gun shall, on conviction, be fined not less than $50.00 nor more than
$500.00, and may also be imprisoned in the county jail or sentenced to
hard labor for the county for not more than six months.
What this says is that Bowies are illegal and you will be fined between $50 and $500 and/or 6 months of hard labor.
What is a Bowie under Alabama law? Case precedence has stated that a
Bowie is a fix blade, single edge knife that is too big to fit in your
pocket. So, anything that has a front and back blade like a stiletto is
legal. Also, Balisongs and any other automatic/gravity knives are legal
too.
Bowies are only illegal if carried concealed so, if you carry it in
the open on your hip, it is OK. Carrying a Bowie concealed on your
property is OK as well. Precedence has stated that a 11″ butcher’s knife
is classified a Bowie in Alabama. When Jim Bowie first used his knife,
people stated that it looked like a large chef’s knife so I think that
is why. If you are thinking about carrying a machete, note that, under
Alabama code, it might be called a Bowie.
Carrying a Bowie or a similar tool in your vehicle counts as carrying
it concealed. Do not place a Bowie or similar tool in your trunk. If
you are pulled over and the cop asks to search for your car, say “no.”
If you are unfamiliar with the law, said “yes,” and happened to be
carrying your camping machete, you are might be charged with a
misdemeanor.

ARIZONA carry what you want gun or knife. Ain't it great !!!!
Alaska as well!!!
In CT. three knives are mentioned specifically. Spring operated, gravity and Dirk knives (double edge). Stature makes mention of any knife with an edged portion over 4". At the end of the statute they throw in "or any other edged weapon". This is widely thought to apply to knives designed to be weapons.
Don't forget Massachusetts. No blades over 2.5" in Boston, and if you're caught with one, you get arrested.
Arizona is knife owner heaven
Arizona is also the most pro-gun state when it comes to it's laws, my home state of Vermont is second.
@@ShinobuSakurazaka ik this is a 3 year old comment but it is Oklahoma now we have abolished all knife laws and we now have constitutional carry open or concealed

I can't carry a concealed handgun due to my age, I also can't carry a gun on campus anyways, so I carry a 2" fixed blade as a substitute.
Leroy Spires yeah. I mostly use it to cut sandpaper in the lab portion of my class, but if I was attacked by someone who is unarmed, a blade, even one only 2" long, is a force multiplier.
Leroy Spires I'm insane for cutting sandpaper? quartered sheets are easier to use if I am not using a sanding block.
Leroy Spires what defines a weapon then? a believe a knife qualifies, but you are the one with the strongest opinion apparently.
River Styx Armory a weapon by definition is anything used as a means of inflicting physical harm on another.
so basically anything you use to put someone in a hospital is a weapon. it doesn't matter if its a Glock 45. a ka- bar, a coffie mug, or even your I phone
Thanatos Sevious I'm aware of what a weapon is, that comment was to ask numbnuts up there, since my knife apparently doesn't count as a weapon to him apparently.
awesome, keep up the good work.
In in Canada. Assisted knifes are legal as long as the thumb stub is on the blade and it's not a button on the handle
South carolina has zero knife laws
Who will fight for knife rights in Canada?
The main reason there doing away with knives in Canada is to keep mayors from chopping up cocaine!!!!!!!
sickjohnson Switching to a back lock knife so my CRKT with a rather weak detent isn't considered a "gravity knife" (which it is not). Really frustrated with the ludicrous laws we have to deal with. What makes any kind of knife more dangerous to society than any other?
apllDgrapllD they are not doing away with anything in canada get your shit straight.
Listen dude im not saying they are. Im saying my CRKT knife has a weak detent and if you shake it hard enough it can be opened. It is NOT a gravity knife but I don't want any LE to confiscate my knife because they think it might be one. Back lock is allot harder to shake out.

The sad part is, no matter how many laws are passed restricting the use of knives or guns, the criminals will still use them, laws are only followed by honest people, these laws are not protecting us from the criminals they are leaving us defenseless against them.

do you have a source for the notched restriction in Canada? i can't find one anywhere and looking through the criminal code on the Justice Laws website it doesn't say anything about that...
I'm in Australia, and the knife laws here are so fucked up it isn't funny. We can't import knives that are 'one hand openable'. However, a multitool that has a one hand openable blade on it doesn't seem to be a problem, go figure.
Yeah, I'm getting a leatherman just so I can carry a useful tool. I have no idea if there are laws against carrying them but fuck it, I be carrying it anyway.

True enough. I've heard you can carry pocket knives (if they're not one handed opening) or multitools if you have a law abiding reason to do so. To which I would say, 'in case I need to cut something, it's a bloody tool.'
Jeff Windle
rommel338 is right, no guns (which I kind of like actually) no knives (as far as I know small pocket knives, swiss army knife style, might be okay) no stun gun, no pepper spray. I don't know about batons, but I doubt it. About the only thing you can carry are those rape alarms.
*****
Yeah it sure is, hell I think we already are a police state in many regards.
***** Wow, I live in Tasmania, our police seem fairly easy-going when it comes to knives. There was an incedent at my sister-in-law's house. I was there with my wife (who was there for moral support) and the attending cops wanted to get a cupboard open. I offered the small knife I was carrying, didn't work. I offered the larger knife I had, didn't work. I offered the small (cheap) multitool I had, that worked. By the time I brought that out I was a bit worried he might not agree with me having all that, but he just chuckled and got on with things. I know I got rather lucky there and I don't carry that much stuff anymore. By the way neither of the above-mentioned knives were one hand opening.
As a 30 year resident of New York City I've seen so much abuse of the gravity knife laws as a means to give out an easy ticket as most of the city laws fall under that category. I've seen coworkers leaving construction sites and have legal knives and instead get carrying a concealed weapons summons cause there knife was legal. I support what you guys are doing 100 percent time to change these laws.
It is nice to know, we have an organization like this.
Arizona. Arguably the best state when it comes to knives. Same with firearms, too. The reason why most, if not all knives are allowed in Arizona, was because different counties would have different knife laws regarding what type should be carried, what length, & if they're really considered tools. Top that with the knife laws of the state, everything gets pretty whacky. & not just the differences in the counties & state, but also different cities have different sets of laws for knives. When it was reviewed, the state said, "This is confusing. Let's change it," & so made all knife laws just follow state regulations. Last I read, you need a license to carry knives that are more than 4 inches long. So, if you see someone in the Valley that has a sheathed Rambo knife on their side, they most likely have a license to carry it. I don't know the current ruling on that one, though. When you visit AZ, you'll pretty much see 7-10 people carrying knives.
yeah i love living in arizona, real only bad thing is Arizona's education programs
Christian Gonzales
Unfortunately, I couldn't agree more...........
Loyal2law I'm from Arizona, and am an adult, but not of drinking age. I tend to carry a sheathed Ka-Bar around the shadier areas I'm around- I thought this was legal? I have no special permits, I have no proof of purchase or even a license to carry it, save my ID.
My question is this: have I been breaking the law for years and just not known it? Or can I legally open carry a sheathed bowie knife?
HerrStoneman
Which is the reason why I don't know if they made any changes about the current ruling. So far, it is this (the short answer): /watch?v=82HK09uLEiE
HOWEVER, you still need to research and be up to date if they did change the laws or not. Even though I also carry a sheathed knife, I still keep myself up to date on it. Better safe than sorry.
HerrStoneman I've walked down Mill Ave in Tempe with a Katana on my hip a few times on Friday/Saturday nights just for my own odd pleasure with buddies, and if you know Mill Ave you know that there are cops EVERYWHERE since it's basically an ASU party strip. I never had a problem. I also used to carry a CRKT Hissatsu or SOG GovTac wherever i went. Hah, nooooow, I'm a lot more modest and just carry my Cold Steel American Lawman. Arizona is probably the best state evaaaar for knife lovers.
I'm in Chicago, can I legally own a butter knife? I hate dry toast! :)
whydotheheathensrage get a bullet proof vest and a CCW.
best not butter knifes are real dangerous with their almost entirely dull blades
Great message.
I live in North Carolina and carry a pocket knife with me and my boss tried to tell me it was a weapon and I laughed at him and said it was my tool...this is so mind blowing...I'm a knife owner.. I own many and just looked up the laws..thanks for the video..
ban full auto capacity assault knives!!!!
Donald J. Trump and the fully semi automatics don't forget
We need to ban the Democrats and their ASSAULT politics!
@spider love Does it shoot knives?
@spider love But small enough to need a child safety warning for swallowing
Utah only has knife laws for felons
Heck yea
love this guy!!! we need to maintain our rights to consume and own what we want if we are not doing illegal activities
Live in Washington state first came here in 79 people were wearing buck knives on their belt no longer some small towns have very strict laws and vague laws
Glad to live in Arizona.
holy shit, i live in canada, please further explain the knife laws or reply with a link that does, because i have knives that have saved my life many times and i want to know if it is going to be legal; and if you have a canadian side of what you do because if you do i will definitely fund it.

Thank you Sirs for fighting for us all
Used to open carry my spring assisted flip knife with a 4 inch blade everywhere I went til I lost it and I was never once hassled or even given a second glance. Thankfully I live in the Midwest US, the exact state is full of hunters and just blue collar people who need a knife for work as well as just love their guns for target practice and hunting all kinds of different animals depending on what the season allows.
0:00 What knife is that!? The one in GN's hand
Cold Steel Talon 2, no doubt. Wicked, isn't it?
matt bowman Yeah I gotta put that on my to get list!
People like you are why knives have a bad name. "Gimme a tactical stabby thing, now!"
Clap Forboobies What!? What is wrong with wanting tactical stabby things? I like tactical stabby things!
Because stabbing someone is gross and weird and will fuck you up for life.
Here in communist California, our knife laws are pretty decent.
Redsorgum I was waiting for this, and I agree. the only thing that sucks is not being able to conceal sheath knives- carry what ever you want, just make sure it's on your belt and fully exposed! lol
knife laws in San Diego County are pretty easy. no switchblades, assisted are separate than a standard pocket and have no length limit, no shuriken, but throwing knives are fine as long as openly worn.
Redsorgum I thought for sure California would be worse than jersey. I'm surprised. now I need to check the laws in MD cause our gun laws are f'd up.
Isn't it odd? California of all places.
la county has a 3 inch open carry limit.
As a guy living in knife oppressed NYC I love how he started the video with that sick looking blade in his hand
"people should be punished for committing crimes. not for carrying a tool on them." very wise words. this is so true!!! totally agree with him!!
ban full auto capacity assault knives!!!
the only place i think there should be a ban on knifes and guns are at schools
Anthony Scott Gun bans and gun free zones are totally pointless. Criminals don't follow rules.
smartest thing ive read all day
That's why there have been so many attacks with guns and knives at schools- they made them gun and knife free zones. Now anyone wanting to use a gun or knife to injure or kill someone can go to a school because they know there won't be anyone there with a legal gun or knife, so they can butcher at will. Only in the mind of a liberal does this make sense.
Anthony Scott I couldn't DISAGREE more.
Anthony Scott well I always carry a knife in my backpack so if something happens after school like a rapist tries to touch me I can defend my self
Fight on, brothers. Keep fighting the good fight.
Same thing in Montana. We have (relatively) awesome gun laws, but I was surprised at how many restrictions there were when I looked into the knife laws.
Anyway, what a cool organization to support. They need to come to Montana!
In Kansas City MO, we have super lenient knife laws. You can legally buy a knife of any length at any age, so long as it's not automatic. It's up to the discretion of the store. Automatic knives you can buy when you're 18
Here in Vermont the only restriction we have is switch blades can not be longer then 3 inches
i live in north central new york state near the adirondack mountains and as far as i know the max length for a folding knife is no more then 5 inches overall and a fixed blade can have a blade no more then 8 inches long and can be carried anywhere except a government building and must remain in the sheath unless in use
Here in Colorado they finally legalized the butterfly knife but gravity and autos are still illegal. Same with fixed blades (bigger than 3.5 in) unless it's for fishing or hunting use
I love my state Arizona! I was born and raised in Commiefornia but by God's grace I made my way as a refugee to Arizona in 2011 and I'll never leave.
not sure if you guys changed the law on switch blades in Texas as of 2013 but I now own and carry a otf double sided Microtech!!! Thanx
Over here in Oregon, the only restriction for knives that I've found applied to the concealed carry of dirks/daggers, or pretty much knives designed for stabbing. Other than that, I don't remember seeing any other restriction for owning or carrying a knife.
I live in Alabama there's hardly any restrictions on knives and I love it
In Nevada(at least Las Vegas) you cannot conceal anything bladed of it has a blade longer than 3.5 inches long. Any blade longer than 3.5 inches has to be "open carried" but you may get a special permit from the sherif to conceal something with a larger blade such as a bowie knife or dagger.
South Carolina, since 2008, has had no restrictions on length, style, locking method, or opening method.
keep fighting the good fight.
I knew schools you can't have but never knew there were many laws ty.
Im from california So far its been good for me. I usually cary spiderco, zt and lion steel all 4 inch. blade
this video is very informative! I'm sharing this. I open carry a TigerUSA Knife. it has saved my life! I know of two times! I would never put it in my pocket. it's on my belt, even in church! I will pray for your cause! God Bless you!
Rough church
Southern california switch blades illegal but 4" folding knife fine to carry but has to be visible. One sided blade only.
What I have found out is that in my school in Florida, specifically in Seminole county, a student can have a pocket knife in his or her pocket at school, but the pocket knife must always stay in the pocket. But there are heavy restriction on what they classify as a pocket knife. So no assisted opening knives, no notch open knives that allow for one handed opening, and the blade must not exceed 3 inches, and must be a straight edge blade. Also multi-tools with any blade on them of any kind is prohibited. Most of these restrictions I understand, and some of them I don't. But those are what i know about my knife laws in Florida.
I've heard that in Atlanta, GA you can't have a lock-blade, and the blade must be no longer than 2 inches.
I'm in Colorado, 3" length limit, and restrictions on opening. No gravity knives, no ballisongs, no otf.
yep I'm in flagstaff Arizona
In Iowa, USA, the only restrictions are NO ballistic knives and NO blades over 5 inches.
Tennessee is currently my home state and has no current restrictions on blades carry or ownership
I love this video. ..NYC I cant stand for knife use. if a bad situation as bugout bag u need a knife period. it gets to a point where they want us defenseless. until it bcms critical to type of knives and location....I like knives if bullets run out...either way I will carry especially whn I must jog in very secluded areas...please keep up the good work guys
This guy was right and at first I thought that some knives should be illegal but now I think that some that are shouldn't.😀😀
In Australia i cant import a double edged knife ( 2 inch blade) customs seized it. But happy for me to have my cold steel swords.
Glad I live in Oregon, a double action OTF knife is in my edc rotation.
Funker Tac, I havent seen one of your vids in a long time. Your Marlin 917 video was was great, I have one too and I love that rifle. Big fun smoking big hogs with a tiny bullet.
I know in the state of Kentucky, it is legal to own any kind of knife(besides those regulated by the US government), and for carrying laws, any non-concealed knife is legal, but concealed knives have to be regular folding or hunting knives
I'm freakin pumped! Sign me up!
I also gotta say that while I'm at work and cooking on the line, I burn my fingers on the grill countless times every day; everyone does, but I have yet to cut my self with any of our many razor sharp cutlery kitchen knives. Both are tools, one causes more consistent harm than the other, but should either be banned, restricted or made illegal? The answer is as redundant as the question. The point is that criminalizing any knife is just redundant. The only reason I could imagine they really pass such laws is to generate extra money by busting everyday people and getting them into the legal system which is a true and blatant money pit. -Just my two pennys worth.
