Great review!! Just ordered this backpack and excited to try it out! One thing I will note, whenever there isn't a great false bottom for laptop compartment, I like to simply fold up a thick microfiber rag at the bottom below my laptop, it adds a lot of cushion to the bottom, for when I set the backpack down, while also doubling as a rag for cleaning down my MacBook screen or eye glasses as needed :) A T-shirt would also work well if you're tight on space in the main compartment for ultra light travel :) I find using my laptop sleeve would be overkill if the front/back of laptop pocket is already super padded & would take up extra space
Great review. Personally, I really appreciate the lighter-colored interior fabric. Makes finding things inside a little bit easier.
Me too. I suppose that as this bag is meant to have a business or 'professional' style, that's why a more boring colour has been used. We wouldn't want to give business professional leaders and powermongers the impression that us underlings had imagination or creativity or a not-so-serious side, would we? 🕺💃
Really well made video! Appreciate how you actually filled it with items.
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for mentioning the lack of a false bottom.
Very well-reviewed.
I haven't tried it, but I read that rubbing a candle on zippers helps to lubricate them and this could reduce their noisiness.
thanks for this. considering this. do you have a better suggestion for a bag for work-laptop, lots of pockets, a little extra space for some extra things
Based on your reviews, can you suggest other backpacks with better false bottoms?
I'd very much rather swing on my left shoulder and then use my right hand to operate the bag features. The Timbuk2 Tuck Pack that I own is backwards, and love the bag, but hate that specific design choice.
Yeah it seems oddly more left-hand friendly which I guess works for me
best back pack ive ever owned
What’s your favorite thing about it?

May I know what bottle size are you using? I'm asking because I'm thinking which bottle size to get that could fit it
Can you please tell me which 2-3 bags have the best false bottom?
Or overall best protective laptop backpack?
I've read all your website's stuff, but i'm so confused on being able to make a single choice.
1) false bottom
2) organization for notebooks + pens
3) waterbottle holders
which bag did you go with? Kind of lookign for similar things
Does this backpack has a suspended laptop compartment?
How much shorter does the backpack get when you cinch it down? It's 3cm too long for Canadian flights
Are you sure? It looks under for Air Canada and WestJet.
Why don't any of these bags come with a place to put your cellphone - on the shoulder straps. :(
You can always add one on with something like the Chrome Industries Phone Pouch! More info: packhacker.com/travel-gear/chrome/phone-pouch/
