A lovely filmed interview with the acclaimed Scots Gaelic singer Julie Fowlis from North Uist. Fans include Ian Rankin, Ricky Gervais and Phil Selway from Radiohead
Think this is a very good impression of a wonderful singer. i saw Julie performing during the Perthshire Amber Festival in Pitlochry and thought she was just SUPERB....!!!! Karin from Holland.
could you here feel the cruelty of english imposing their language to isolated tongues ? let the new generation express her pride and beauty . Love julie fowlis , so talented and very keen of experiencing new stuff .
Tha a' bhideo seo sgoinneil ! Bu chaomh leam tuilleadh filmichean mar sin a dh'fhaiceann ! Chan eil ach rud a-mhàin nach caomh leam ann an Julie: tha i pòsta cheana !!! (That video is awesome ! I'd like to see more ! There's only one thing I don't like in Julie: she's already married !!!). A Julie, mas caomh leat càirdean ùra a dh'fhaigheann, bhithinn toilichte bhith nam chàraid aighead!
A lovely lady, with a lovely vocal talent. A boon to the scottish musical & lingual culture.
Beautiful woman! And a great talent. She is truly a treasure to her music genre.

Yeah I saw her last week. She's just as amazing live as on her cd's. Thanks Julie, Jenna, Eamon and Tony for a fantastic concert.
A great performer ....uses her classical training very well along with her traditional background.
