Been looking into this bike since they announced it. The Chinese brands may have a rough history, but looks like they'll be making some decent stuff moving forward.
I was shocked to hear they were a Chinese brand to be honest! If they can prove reliability in this initial launch of motorcycles, they have a great entry level market to capture

They used to buy Kawasaki engines but now, they manufacture their own on the Kawasaki design@michaelbigdongovic3295
I have a 700CL-X and really love it. The shocks, tires, electronics...all top shelf components.
CF Moto really impressed me too!
good test, thank you.
Thank you!!
I am really impressed with this bike. I've looked at several reviews and have sat on one. Great video as always! Seemed like it was pretty fast?
Thanks for watching and the continued support! The bike had a lot of pep to it! Low down torque
Great recording
Thanks!
That was a very consistent riding... Good pilot skills...
Thank you for the kind words! Always learning
Very good video! I just got the sport model and I absolutely love it. How many miles on the bike in the video?
Hey! Thanks for watching :)
Bike was completely brand new
Maybe 15 miles on it when I took it for a spin so I didn’t want to go too hard on ir
i think it shares the same engine as the kawasaki 650s, a bit upgraded i think. then i dont doubt the reliability if thats the case, how does it compare to the z650, sv650 and mt07? do you feel parallel twin vibey feel on the bars?
Great question! I have to look up and see if they share the same engine cause that would absolutely mean reliability to me. I have only experience with the Kawi 650 which I will compare deeper in my review. The 700CL-X off the top of my head is more fun though. More peppy and sounds way better stock.
current gas prices are going to get a lot more people looking for cheaper forms of transport.the 650-700 size is perfect for commuting to work,i own an mt-07 and get 50+ mpg in the city and 60+ in the hwy.this one probably gets better mph.nice bike.
Those are really some awesome mpg! I’m in that same boat with riding gas prices and will definitely be taking out my bike more often!
agree, got an mt07 and a cbr300,spending $18 every 2 weeks to fill up both bikes vs $40+ a day in gas is more than enough reason to use my bikes to commute plus is more fun.
Has a nice sound stock
It really does! Sounds even better in person :)
Woo hoo, I'm the first to like and comment......YEAH!!! Nice ride, you seemed to really enjoy yourself even tho it started to sprinkle.....thanks.
Thanks! Yes the rain really did suck, but still fun ride!
Picking mine up friday. Thanks.
Great! Ride safe buddy and congrats on the bike :)
@@EspressoRacer Thank you bro. I always try to ride as safe as possible while still enjoying the bike. Never pull the front wheel off the ground, never burnout or stunt in any way and I damn sure don't lane split. Shiny side up bro. ✌
How is the bike going? you reckon it's quick enough?

Sir, I believe you are going over the speed limit. J/K lol. Nice vid, seems like a lot of bike for the price. I didn't see a lot of vibration in the mirrors at all. Anything you didn't like about the bike?
lol! Thanks for watching! I couldnt tell any vibration whatsoever :) Very good quality bike for the price
Felt any vibration over handlebar or other parts?
Surprisingly very smooth ride! I was looking hard for quality issues since I found out it was a Chinese brand, but overall very good quality with little vibration.
Single disc front brake. Is it enough? Coz other brand use two discs for the same cc.
It felt like it had plenty of brake power with one disc :)
Noted and thank you guys
Is this the 70bhp model,my mate has a 70bhp one.
Not sure, will need to check!
would this be hard to ride as a first bike ever? this is by far best looking bike out of those "beginner friendly (mt03 etc.) But I'm concerned that its a 700cc and that would be too much at first? I am looking just for a chill daily commuter, I won't do any speeding on it.
Hey! I agree, it sure is one good looking bike! It definitely has some pep to it, but I believe there are riding modes so you can place it in rain mode until you get comfortable riding. Also, insurance should be cheap, along with overall price! Swing a leg over and try it out :)
@@EspressoRacer thank you! is it safe to drive when it's raining (these tires are more safe than those on Sport version)?
If it makes you feel any better, I just bought this bike yesterday and I’m taking delivery of it today. First bike too. Eco mode will help us hone our skills and if you’re feeling ballsy, put it in sport mode in the highway and feel the power! Also, the stock exhaust sound is AMAZING.
I bought this bike 2 weeks ago, first bike ever and 0 motorcycle experience. I do just fine, be aware and respect the bike. It's an awesome motorcycle
Nice....👍🏼
Thanks!
Do you think it feels vibey in the pegs, seat and handles? or smooth ?
What do you think 0-100kph and top speed is?
Looks similar performance to my CB400SF, although it probably has more low-down torque in comparison. Mine is about 4.8sec 0-100kpg and tops out around 190-195kph.
Very smooth overall!
I do not know the top speed, but I would guess an easy 110-120 mph
Is this better than continental GT 650?
I am absolutely biased towards my GT 650 :)
were u on sport mode or eco sound like eco mode lol
Sport mode :)
Placement of mic may have made it sound different!
74 bhp vs 47 for an Enfield twin and at the same price !? Yow!
They are both very fun bikes!
Suena mucho esa cadena
Thanks for watching!
Is it km/h or mp/h?
Mph
chinni copy of the triumph trident? the rare looks identical to the trident 660
Actually yes! Very close competitor to the trident 660. I think the cfmoto 700 is for intermediate riders, where trident 660 is for beginners.
@@EspressoRacer why is that? Do you feel the clx punchier?
What's the top speed??
I couldnt test out the top speed :)
Rain...what's that?
lol weather :)
Jesus crisis you kill the gear box man how you put those gears like this 😂😂
I'll take it easy next time!
I watch a lot of bike reviews and have come to the conclusion that Americans can't use the gearbox correctly
No feedback ? Just a video?
Will try to get a full review next time I swing a leg over it!
