I, had to bury my Mother Monday made 30 day's I allowed myself to mourn. I've never witness anything like it ever. I didn't let anyone tell me to get over it. Celebrate she's in a better place I believe thatI also knew it was ok to mourn. I had to plan the funeral alone my oldest Sister wasn't feeling well. I screamed and cried for 1wk. I thank God for Grace and Mercy in Jesus Christ Mighty Name. For strength!!💘💜

It was even more harder because I'm was, still in the process if finalizing my divorce. The Grace of God had to carry me. I couldn't cry anymore I started feeling myself blackout. I had to call JESUS!! HELP ME!!

Wow. In a few hours I will turn 62. I am mourning the death of an ex and as you say, it is the death of a dream. I am mourning the death of the season of being a parent. My adult child no longer cares about me. I'm mourning the ending of my 16 year career at the same employer as Covid mandates thrust me into "retirement ". Im mourning a friendship which is not what it used to be. So many seasons to heal from all at once.

Lot's wife who was turned into a pillar of salt for looking back is a symbol of getting bitter (as salt is bitter) and without life if your mind is in the past.
Bitterness is too often observed result of being tied to past.

My mom died at the hospital and I was there as we were inseparable I swear I never felt pain in my life with her loss I lied beside her dead body and wept and hugged and kissed her face. I am only glad her pain ended and she seen Jesus 💔😓
Thank you, thank you and thank Pastor Blake's. So true, been out of a ten month relationship with a narcissist for almost four months. I don't miss him, like you said I miss the dream and remembering how he love bombed and asked me to marry him. Was so tramatized because at sixty years old I thought games were over and we were too old. I was with a demon in the flesh and still in shock. But God saw what was in my heart and he knew I still belonged to him, even though I operated in the flesh. The season is over and the mourning is coming to a close. I'm stronger and wiser knowing I can identify a Narcissist now. Thank you so much for all you do to help people understand life with the word of God. Hallelujah and Amen 🙏💯🦾

Wonderful message 🙏🏽 God has literally spoke to me regarding burying a old season. And I've been struggling with being obedient. No more , I want better than what I'm getting.
This message was so powerful.. It is so scary going through ending a season but when we know it means us no good; we have to trust God and the new plan HE has for us .
I allowed my 35 yr. old son to back in with me when he and his wife for continuously fighting he has been with me for two years and would like to stay another year and I'm beginning to think it's not healthy he's depending too much on me nothing on the Lord it's time to bury this

Sir, this is confirmation and right on time as I see the shifts and changes God has miraculously performed in my life. I’ve been impressed spiritually to release and LET GO in many areas of my life including people and things that we’re familiar. What formally was part of my present No longer belongs with who I am becoming as a woman, my present, nor where God is taking me. My mother passed over 3 months ago. I physically took care of her the last 10 months of her life. I did it alone. My sister abandoned my mother and our relationship changed because of it. I've never felt so alone in all of my life. Bishop Blakes, thank you once again, over and over again for messages that touch the very painful areas of my life. Took care of Mommy for 3 1/2 years at home. The season is over....she died 2 weeks ago. For the 3 1/2 years my job was to care 24 7. My exhusband did nite shift I did days. Now I am finding myself because all was on hold. I miss her dearly and now I find myself making a new life. This was quite a learning experience and bonding with my Mom. No depression....the new thing is here and I am sure I will be learning my new way.
Bishop, thank you for always acknowledging the humanistic side of Christianity. Too often, we find ourselves trying to be superhuman and neglecting our moments to cry and be vulnerable. I’m going through that right now. Initially, I thought I was a terrible Christian and that I did not trust the Lord as I assumed, but I know there is a time of weeping and grieving. Thank you, Father God in Heaven for your presence and for the Blakes’ brothers.
Soul Comforting Truth
Dear pastor your words struck me like it was the Lord speaking to me directly. When you said from 2019 that hit me because that was when I got divorced. Here I have been missing my ex and my life with him and the family when I just got married a couple of months ago. Wishing I could go back and felt it was all a mistake but I can’t change it now. It has felt like a complete hopeless future for me. I have cried every morning over the loss of my former life. But I need to bury that season now and embrace the new. I don’t know how I guess I feel I should punish myself for leaving that life and not allow myself to live. It has been so hard and painful. I pray the Lord has a future for me again and I can lay it to rest my past. And not feel the burden of it all.

Thank you and God bless you, Pastor Blakes! This is definitely a Word in due season for me, and really spoke to me in a big way. It reminds me of the Scripture in Hosea 13:5,6. Sometimes when we get so preoccupied with people and things in this world, we tend to forget God. I believe that in order to get our focus back on God, He will remove worldly things. Also, sometimes we tend to take for granted the many blessings God has given us - life, good health, food, clothing, shelter. Anything or anybody that we put ahead of God is idolatry. He has had to shake me up with losses to remind me that He comes first, and I am soooo glad He did!

Yes, indeed a season did end for me in 2019. I closed the door then opened it again in 2021 and of course it was a wrong decision and it set me back and on a course to recover myself, my mind, my body, and my relationship with God yet again. Ty Father God for the many many many chances you've given me and the grace and love you've bestowed upon me as well. 🙏🏿
I held on to an old season for over a decade. Lamenting over old friends and a relationship. God revealed a lot about my relationship with this guy and I got ANGRY! I did not know how much this man played me. This has a produce a time of healing for me. I needed to bury the relationship finally and old friendships! IT’S DEAD!!! I needed this message. When my father passed i stepped up to be the man of the house, three older sisters which where teenagers a younger brother and an alcoholic mother, so i didnt have time to cry i had to protect. And before he died three days before my 9th he said when he dies i have to be the MAN OF THE HOUSE. I am finally learning to move on, and you are helping me along the way. So i thank you!

In this message when Pastor Blake asked the question "Are you holding on to something that God is finished with?" That ? Stayed on my mind but for days because we can be finished with something and return back to it, but when God is finished it's stamped and done with. I encourage you to pray for the strength to not return to something or someone that God has finished a season in your life.

I have been in grief for over 4 years ending an abusive and adultery in a marriage of 30 years going through divorce mourning a father in law who I saw as my father who has taken his sons side as I cared for him as he is disabled his son only concerned with his addictions
my biological father was a monster I cannot release tears I’m stuck in bitterness and resentment losing so much also grieving the death of my brother and sister so much grief and sadness surrounds me Thankyou for this and god bless you 🙏❤️
