    After a month Having my microbraids I had to go to a stylists and do a takedown.. the reties was overwhelming and just managing my short hair was too much and not being able to do much styles 😅 lol and now I’m ordering micro Loc extensions and hoping for the best. I wish you the best on your Loc journey

    First time watching your videos and already subscribed ❤! I def hear you on the variety…a purple or blue shampoo can bring some vibrancy back to your color. Or even try a semi-permanent color that is more liquid than conditioner like in texture (kiss or adore brand). That might spice things up for you. But your locks are beautiful and I have a feeling they are gonna surprise you over the next couple months. Hang in there Sis!

    I’m hating mine now too and I’m almost 9 months in. I think they are too frizzy, not uniformed, etc. I’m doing a consultation with another loctician on Thursday because I don’t think they are done right. I feel like I look a mess!

    I completely understand 🙄 I'll be 6mths tomorrow and I'm not sure what I expected -- kinda bored with them now. Definitely sick of braiding/banding but my hair will unravel if I don't. How long does this part of the journey last for Braidlocs???

    • @being.alexisnic

      First off, HAPPY SIX MONTHS!!! 🥳 And sis, I wish I knew! Glad to hear I'm not the only one kinda bored with this stage but we'll get through it! ♥️

    I think the smaller the locs the longer they take to progress, that's just what I've observed tho

    • @being.alexisnic
      @being.alexisnic  Рік тому +4

      that actually makes total sense and I never thought about it like that, thank you! 🥰♥️
