I’m 8 weeks loc’d and I noticed my back budding a week ago. When I was a loose natural, the back of my head used to mat up SO quickly so I’m guessing that’s what it is

I love your earring selections🎉❤ And just came across your channel because I am wanting single braids over my locs. However after seeing you take them down so early from tension on your scalp I am now in limbo. Since I have an extremely sensitive scalp that gets irritable easily like I can on spray my scalp with water. I too need my scalp to breathe been on my loc journey now for over a year but I want a different look and I miss wearing braids. Sorry to be so wordy and may you continue to have Godspeed in all of your endeavors. 10:13

What if your hair is growing faster before getting it retied ?
I would set up my appointments more frequently than 6-8 weeks your location will inform you best! I did in the beginning I was wanting to go every four weeks.
