    First joint Austin Rover / Honda model. Noted for the engine rotated counter clockwise. Not many left in the UK now, most of them rusted away.

    The UK (yellow) licence plate on the back starts with a 'B' which means it was first registered between August 1984 and July 1985.

    Its genuinely awful that the Triumph name died with this thing. A Morris badge wouldve been far more fitting.
    The real Triumph ended in '82 with the Tr8. Despite the build quality issues that Leyland always carried (despite those problems dissipating towards the companies eventual downfall) it was genuinely a great car. It looked great, sounded amazing and was a proper canyon carver as a Triumph should be.
