Wattie is 67 years old and still gets up on stage and kills it. 67 years old and still stays true to his beliefs. If you get a chance to see your favorite 80s punk band play GO it’s worth it because they’re not gunna be around forever.
Sex and violence is one of those "first starting out, learning to play" favorite songs kids love
Wattie nejlepší punker vždy jsem si krásně zapogoval jezdil jsem na jeho vystoupení když byl v největší síle....🍻🤘
High five from Portugal.
He is and always been the General of the barmy army he’s a legend
Best Punk Band ever 👌👌👌
Mitic, the top. Merci , wattie bukan.❤
Amazing frontman. Subtitles would really help us understand what he says
Saw them live years ago, climbed onto the stage , hugged wattie, said to him "You're the fucking man", he smiled , then i stage dived and face planted 😂
To be fair, it doesn't take a whole lot to start a riot in Montreal.
Love ya, Wattie!!!
That footage reminded me of when I visited wearing a Bruins jersey.
@Klutch58Customs Excellent. I found myself (a Boston fan) at a bar in Montreal, during the playoffs (Bruins vs Habs). I was sure I'd end up getting knifed.
@@buckyhate7695 at least they'd apologize after doing so! You from Boston? I'm from northern England. 🖤💛🖤
@Klutch58Customs Nah man, Ontario Canada. I should be a Leafs fan, but I just can't do it.
@@buckyhate7695 Good work brother. My first hockey game was leafs at home v Bruins. Gone to see my Canadian friend as a teen in the 90s. He took me hoping I'd become a fan but I fell in love with the B's!
Wattie was and is the absolute real deal
I’d love to meet him in person and shake his hand absolutely legend
When I talk to people about listening to punk, they're usually thinking about Green Day or Offspring, while I'm thinking about Subhumans, FEAR, or Exploited. It's really amazing to me that all these bands are considered the same category of music in the first place. Wattie has kept it real his whole career and never sold out.
The Exploited number 1.
Legend, personality, and the avatar of the primal force!
In the 80s, my friend got them to come back to his apartment after a show. They trashed the place and pulled the mirror off the bathroom wall to do coke on it. Then Wattie called his mom in Ireland on the phone, running up a huge bill. Fun times!
I grew up listening to Exploited but so many of those live albums were unlistenable, obviously used proper old recording equipment. Just pleased he is still at it .
Wattie and Charlie Harper - punks not dead
when your NOT doing it for money, this allows you to tear from the hospital bed and head right back into the fuckin party
Seen em play Dublin a few times in recent years. Still wild!!
I saw them at a little hole in the wall bar in Roseville CA about 21 years ago, they were rad live
This guy is the closest modern version of what an ancient greek philosopher's life looked like.
Wattie revolucion
ABSOLUT LEGEND ❤ I HAVE VINLYS,CDS AND SHIRT.
Ah, the notion that The Exploited influenced Discharge is absolutely ludicrous. Discharge were formed two years before The Exploited and their respective first singles came out the same year. If anything it's the other way around, Discharge's sound influenced the more metal-oriented latter Exploited records.
Very true, they did a tour together in early 80s, very different bands.
I see discharge in early 80s ,loved them ,couldn't hear properly for days after though 😊😂
Exploited suck
@@mondop5270 Nah.
Speed is a beautiful thing.
Wattie is a real legend.
It seems like these guys are always on tour. I see them all the time playing somewhere around.
Hard working
I love this band. LIVE AT THE WHITEHOUSE!
This is my fav punk band .
Always love wattie and the exploited
I happen to admire this guy.
Wattie is 💯 percent correct on Maggie Thatcher and what she did to the working class of Britain.
And you don’t think every prime minister/government since have done the same? Smfh
@@oliverearnshaw6189 Pretty much. But Maggie Thatcher was the reason that my parents moved to Australia with me as a baby.
fckn love The Exploited .. saw them one time.. go like that lads ..
I know he loved speed. No doubt contributed to his heart issues.
