I really like the Mach E, but I wound up getting a Subaru this year. I wouldn't qualify for the ev credits, would need to install the home charger, and electricity costs are high in my area. In your case, you drive a lot of miles, and it sounds like the savings makes sense. I do see some screaming good deals on used Mach Es with low miles which might make more sense for some people over buying new.

I am not leasing my car. But yes, the EV cars do depreciate in value the longer you have them. But I usually own my vehicles for a while so when it comes to trading them in, I never saw a whole lot for trade in value. Thanks for your response.

Have you considered the difference in residual value? I think there's a bigger drop off in electric vehicle values. Nice work though!
